Kacha, you are very talented! I am inspired by your painting techniques. I have a double dresser and a tall bureau with doors that is probably 30-40 years old. It was given to me by friends at church who were moving to Florida about 12 years ago and I was going to donate it and find something else but I decided that if I repaint it I an make it special. These two pieces will go in my master bedroom .

This turned out beautiful! Love your color choice! I have a white farmhouse headboard and dresser than used to be a cream color, but has turned a yellowish color just like the before picture. I think I want to try refinishing mine in this color combination! Thank you so much for this video!!

This maybe my favorite piece you have done. It's hard to say because you have several 'hum dingers'. It's hard to say for sure. What you do with paint is an art form.

I have watched numerous videos on blending and this is the first one that after watching I actually feel as though I can do it. The others seem far more intent on selling product than really teaching how to do it.

WOW! I truly love the lines of French Provincial, and your color choices really bring the piece back to life. The gilding wax does wonders for the hardware. You make this blending technique look easy. I am scared to try it. I guess I have to just jump in and try it!!
Lisa Freebairn yes try! Grab some scrap wood and 2 colors to get a little confidence. It’s not that hard, after one or two attempts you’ll have an understanding of how it works. Keep the paint wet and have fun!

I have the long dresser and night stands of this exact set. Also yellow. There was a note inside with the original tag. The original owner of mine bought it in 1956.

Did you go to school to learn how to paint like this or you just a natural artist. A true artist I must add.
I learned everything on my own first. I did eventually take some Chalk Paint classes to learn the correct way!
