    I just stumbled upon your website in my search to learn how to paint my first piece of furniture. Thank you for making these videos.
    YOU ARE A GIFTED TEACHER and HERE is WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD TEACHER!
    1. You teach in a step by step process.
    2. You explain WHY you use certain products at each step.
    3. You explain HOW to apply the products.
    4. You provide small details without skipping a step!
    Not sure if you or anyone will read my post since you already have 619 comments and this post is 2 yrs old as of August of 2023.
    Anyway, I have 2 old jewelry armoires and I'm combining them into one tall armoire and will put a mirror on the back of it. I've primed it already and am discovering all these cool painting techniques etc. I think I will practice on something else before I tackle this large project so I don't screw it up.

    I have a large 80 year old bedroom set from a loved aunt who passed. The furniture is also very ornate and very damaged. The veneer has separated in spots because of water damage and very dried flaky finish that I would to work on. You gave me very good start. Your pieces just beautiful. A huge Improvement

    My favorite colors, including the silver, it has given me some ideas for a rather large 80's solid oak entertainment center i have planned to redo. Not sure if i want to keep the stain glass doors. Love this color grouping. And dixie bell is my fav.

I’m new and still learning... your blending technique looks pretty foolproof using your blending brush and water. I feel pretty confident that I could (hopefully) make mine as cool as yours. Thanks for the tip with the Gator Hide... I love using it but I put the gilding wax on and then gator hide.... I will reverse that in the future... as Always love your talent... thanks for sharing and Stay Safe... Peace 💜

    Most gorgeous & fabulous! And so helpful. After making a mess of doors to a cabinet I’m currently painting, I decided to wipe the paint off and start again. In the process, the three colours I was using blended togeather and i thought to myself, “Hmmm...I like that”. I then went in search of a video on “how to blend in a more thoughtful manner for a more professional, less pail of slop finish”. As a beginner I think I might be able to pull this off ... if I keep this video close at hand while trying. Thank you! Much appreciated!

    You are a fabulous teacher. I’ve painted a lot of rooms and house projects, and you really have that knowledge that I haven’t seen imparted yet by other furniture painters. One thing I would suggest is that you show people a dusting brush and a tack cloth. Both pretty much indispensable when painting. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 Subscribed and ready to binge. We’ve just gone into lockdown again. 🤦‍♀️

    • @BellaRenovare
      @BellaRenovare  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great tips!! I show a dusting brush in one of my videos actually maybe a few but I think you are correct and I like that idea so I will definitely order some more tact cloths also so I can implement that in the videos :) THANK YOU for the suggestion, I do a lot behind the science and sometimes I am like ehhh they don't care lol...but maybe you are right they do and should see it :)
      And lockdown AGAIN!! NOOOO I am so sorry, I live in Germany and we have been in lockdown for a while now too so I feel your pain!!
