KIA SOLUTO vs HONDA BRIO! City Car Battle!

- The 2021 Kia Soluto is a city car that is supposed to go against the Toyota Vios and the Honda City, but it is priced at the same level as the Honda Brio. This means that for those shopping for a budget city car, these two would be in their short list. The Honda Brio RS is the smaller car in this comparo, but being small also has its merits. The Kia Soluto is the mechanical twin of the Hyundai Reina, so you can say that this comparo also applies to the Hyundai Reina. It may seem that the Honda Brio is at the losing end here, but that's not the case. It still has what it takes to win in some areas against the Kia Soluto.

I have a Kia Rio sedan, the same eng. displacement with the Soluto and 4 spd traditional matic tranny...
We have also the new Brio RS BT Orange...
I prefer to drive the Rio in out of town trips, going to mountain roads. I have more control on the tranny with its manual mode, going uphill and downhill is a breeze...i already driven it going to Cebu, an overland trip with 5 people including me plus our luggages. No problem in negotiating the zigzags in Iloilo and Negros.
The Brio with its CVT, i use it mostly for city driving. But i tried it also in mountain roads once, going to Mt. Samat, it has decent torque but not as much as the Rio.
For fuel economy, Brio wins, no question about it.

Base first in the price point, you can put a reverse cam set up, and leather seats. For Brio RS.
Can you please do a review for Chevrolet Spark before they remove it in their line up this 2022. That is the only small hatchback that didn't have a review in this channel. 🥺

Nice for Soluto and Brio but its much better if its the Picanto against the Brio as in its the battle of the mini hatchback for this.

I've owned a Kia for 10 years din, and after sales support is not an issue. It helps na sister company ni hyundai, so if there are no parts with Kia, the Hyundai counterpart can be used.

@@ReygansRides same with Hyundai sir the aftermarket sales improved in mid 2000s to late 2010s my uncle still currently owns a Hyundai Starex 2006, Hyundai Grand Starex 2011, and Hyundai Santa Fe 2014 all of his Hyundais are still reliable and he said he did not have problems on the aftermarket sales from Hyundai Sucat Paranaque where he bough all of his Hyundais.

Nice comparo sir naghintay lang ako sa steering wheel nila gusto lang sana malaman ung kay brio kc si soluto kung ikumpara kay wigo or vios ang layo sobrang gaan ni soluto..
mas gusto ko steering ni Brio. Overall driving dynamics is better.

I'll choose Brio if single ako kasi poging pogi dalhin kasi yung Brio tapos parang chick magnet pa. Haha. And if family man ako then i'll take the Soluto for space and since my Isofix naman yung Soluto atleast di huli sa LTO.
There are child seats that do not require isofix, just the seat belts, but these seats are more prone to errors when mounting them than isofix
