Thanks for this informative video. My K&N System is coming today for my 2016 V6 camaro that I got a few months ago. I hope I do the install correctly (with so many electronics on this car, I’m a little worried about disconnecting the negative battery cable). Does installing a CAI void your warranty? I recently installed one and need to take my vehicle in for service because I'm experiencing a high screeching noise. I would reinstall my original before taking it in but I accidentally stepped on the tube referred to at @2:39.
I'm having a serious debate between the K&N, GM, Roto-Fab, and AFE cold air intake systems. My car is bone stock besides me having a Vitesse Throttle controller. Now I'm very interested in doing some mods since I just recently hit 40,000 miles on my v6 Camaro. I'm open to getting either or with also getting a tune in top of it to get the maximum performance out of it. I've been debating on the GM intake since it comes with a flash and I've also been looking into the Trifecta tune. Anyone's opinion on the best bang for my buck to get the most horse power will be greatly appreciated.
Definitely would go with a custom tune. Depending on how far away you are from tn or NC there's a speed shop that does awesome tunes for our camaros. I'd go with a 63 series k and n. Better quality, better air. If your looking into performance. And have the lgx 2016- 2020. V6 model's. Get arh downpipes and a ported throttle body with the intake. You should get just over a 45 % increase with a proper custom tune for about 1800 bucks. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. I'm buying the world's fastest lgx right now. So I'm haply to help. Also. Big thing is fuel. You'll want to upgrade your fueling capabilities as much as you can threw the process. And if your wanting to beat zl1s and all the other top tier cars hit me up. I got a few openings coming up for the new year and I'm working on trying to get a company out of Australia to produce a first ever set of cams for the lgx. Good luck. Andrew Romero it still let me order it directly to my house in California. I thought I was going to have to ship it out of state then have someone ship it to me but luckily I didn’t have to go through all that.
JayyNation I just ordered the same one from Phastek and I live in Cali, i got an email from support saying they couldnt ship it out then a hour later, an email saying thank you for shopping we'll let you know when its shipped, did you ever get an email saying they couldnt ship it but still got it

Cierra ExotikQueen yea if your getting an exhaust it’s well worth It cuz it helps the airflow and sound way more than anything. Yea that’s how much I got it around for

whenever you expose your throttle body like that, use something to cover it as you don't want to risk getting anything to get in there
Do you have to remove the sound tube thing or can you just push it to the side?

Terry Svay To be honest it depends on the dealership but when I took my car for service to get an oil change they didn’t make a thing of it.

Can you measure your mpg to see if it goes up or down without the tune? I want to get this too but worried I will lose to many mpg s. Thanks
yea but right off the bat I can tell you like it definitely seems like I gained MPGs, because its not wasting as quickly and I still drive the same.
