2017, when it was too expensive to record his CD's in the NL, when they were engaged, when Gert wore regular shoes and still pedaled beautifully, when Marjolein was paying close attention to all 19 registration changes in this piece, when they both were just as kind, caring, generous, and lovely as they are in 2022. The CD is excellent!
I've never worn organ shoes - in 50 years of playing. And I noticed at 2:35 that the lights on the altar in the distance went out. Kind of strange

Impressive Gert. I read you played on the beautifull organ of St Bavo in my hometown Haarlem. The organ even W.A. Mozart played on. I will follow, because you are tallented.

I remember seeing you play this piece when you around 19? In a church setting with fans cooling you off! Your registrant must have been a friend. Yesterday, I asked my pianist friend to try and play the organ, hand & foot coordination, with Handel's "Arrival of Queen of Sheba".....he failed many times. It was extremely difficult for him.
