That’s was unexpected Gert I’m catholic and attempt organ at church the sound of music is so uplifting I’m tempted to play it before mass, love all your music god bless.
I never expected to be so thrilled by a rendition of "Do-Re-Mi" ! Wonderful performance!
What's more you can see Morjolein moving to the music! It's hard not to enjoy yourself listening to such a masterful performance let alone being a part of it!
I don't know how many times I can watch this? Maybe as many times as I've seen the movie, Endless!!!!

Congratulations Gert, the lovely, relaxed phrasing doesn't reflect the intense work you've put in to the transcription. All else aside, you're clearly a very gifted musician. We should also give thanks to Richard Rodgers, the sublime songster who created such wonderfully 'happy' music.

Despite my ever growing admiration and affection for you and the spendid work you do, Gert, I didn't really expect to enjoy THIS as much as i did. It seems no matter WHAT you choose to transcribe and perform you almost can't help but bring a joyful, especially endearing,, always fascinating quality to your playing that's truly irresistible. I havwn't been able to bring myself to interrupt one of your videos yet. Ialways sut here TRANSFIXED. Your interpretations of Bach, Vierne, and Widor are deeply serious and superbly played. Your TRANSCRIPTIONS place you in a UNIQUE class of performers who can edify, enlighten, and pleasantly entertain equally at once. In short you seem to have EVERYTHING and MORE. God bless you and keep you and your dear family. By the way your always lovely wife, Marjolein, looks especially BEAUTIFUL in this video. I imagine your little Thomas must love hearing you play Rodgers and Hammerstein too!

Christopher, doesn't God bless anyone who doesn't keep their eyes on "Him" above? So, keeping eyes on him (and capitalizing pronouns) is what God wants and the way God wants God's creation to behave? So, if you're not keeping your eyes on "Him" above, then God will not bless you? God will be mean to you? Trying to understand that religion. So, eyes down, one is in big trouble with God? And God will just not bless you, just for that?

Christopher Rychlik and@@dannieto1453: The answer to what "does God allow, and justifies," has historically been explained by religious society as "Free-Will." As defined, God "allows" us to have the free-will to make our own decisions, and assume God will forgive the Sins of each human in the afterlife. "Eyes on God" is meaningless; because it can encompass everything that "WE know" about how God will measure us, but decide with His own Rules, leaving us to figure it out for ourselves. Good luck.

What i especially found amazing (besides the amazing organ playing) is the way Marjolein interacts with Gert and the music. If you block the bottom part of the video, it looks like their play quattre mains. Rocking back and forth at the same pace, very musical, and so well cooperated! Really an enrichment.

Watching Gert I always half expect him to launch off! he is so physical, so energetic an organist as well as a highly gifted improvisater and arranger.
Je suis sous le charme ... vos interprétations, particulièrement celle-ci, sont uniques et merveilleuses ! Un grand merci (vous me donnez des distractions dans mon travail).
Cependant, permettez moi de souligner un point : autant les musiques religieuses ont toute leur place dans les églises, autant les mélodies dites profanes devraient être jouées exclusivement dans les salles d'orgues par respect pour les lieux de prières ... Très cordialement à vous.
