USER. REVIEWS. Users. Not critics. Users. This game, in spite of many issues, fulfils a lot of the desires of the Sonic fanbase. I saw a thread of people happy about sonic mania 2 being cancelled and excited for more 3d sonic games. So that means we won't get any good sonic games until it goes back to 2D
No, sonic mania had more reviews at the time, which would lower the score, and sonic frontiers only had 1000, so of course it would be higher.

Sonic looping on that thing and reaching the top of the hill was the coolest part of the game but was immediately ruined by an invisible wall
You can do that all over the map. There are spots everywhere that can send you flying. The invisible wall has only been noticeable on the first island so far. The rest of the levels are surrounded by water.

It’s so weird how the actual setting totally doesn’t look like it aesthetically belongs in a sonic game at all. Definitely agree with dunkey making the halo infinite reference at the start.
It's because they looked at BOTW and Odyssey, and thought the reason they worked was because "woah, these classic characters are in unfamiliar worlds!"

USER. REVIEWS. Users. Not critics. Users. This game, in spite of many issues, fulfils a lot of the desires of the Sonic fanbase. A story that takes itself more seriously, exploring the wide variety of Characters and lore that has often been ignored in past games, a new gameplay style. To those of us observing from a distance, sure, it maybe doesn't seem all too grand. But when fans are desperate for a game that gives them hope for the future, it's no surprise they will express joy for a game that delivers on their hopes.

But Elden Ring and Souls games are trash since they aren't inclusive to all the plebs that don't want to spend 40 hours to GitGud. BoTW is a proof of concept pretending to be a game
I like how the first Island puzzle is fairly complicated with you having to actual sit there and figure out right placement for all of the paths to meet correctly.... just for the second island puzzle to literally just be "put da same color ball in the same color thing, ta da! you did it!" Like wtf???? Lmao.
I was surprised at how they just implemented the light puzzle for it to only come back in one more challenge on a smaller scale and nothing else remotely like the light puzzle from Kronos Island ever came back. And then the third one was pinball
The light puzzle literally shows you the path
The game's difficulty is completely backwards. Like how level 1-2 is the hardest level in the game and everything after it is cake.
@@TOM-ro7rt Yeah they give you the path but trying to figure out how to align each of the guiding stones is a bit challenging. Sure yeah it's not mind bendingly hard but it's certainly more challenging than "yellow ball goes into yellow holder" lmao.
Lmao my exact thoughts. Half of the puzzles in the game are so braindead easy, that they shouldn't even be in the game at all
That Elden Ring score is criminal
