While the lessons Dhar Mann teaches are usually good ones we should all live by, the quality of the content and method of spreading that message is… questionable. TH-camrs like PewDiePie and Sssniperwolf have skewered Dhar Mann’s cheesy videos countless times, I wanted to put on my scrubs to see if there was any credibility to the medical info Dhar Mann has put out there. Cancer results via letter, “code reds”, something called “stage 5 anaphylactic shock”… this one gets pretty wild. Any Dhar Mann videos you’d like me to take a look at in the future? That's way too generalised. It's not like all the kids in the past were honest. Ultimately, they're *kids* ffs. They're supposed to make those mistakes for them to learn and understand better. It's part of a teacher's job. Not declining that some kids do make significant mistakes but that does not mean you can't leave the benefit of doubt out.

I have an idea for a BETTER and MORE REALISTIC plot for the video about the kid who fakes an allergic reaction. Instead of him actually being allergic to peanuts, the plot should have been that he doesn't actually have an allergy to peanuts but he pretends that he does and fakes an allergic reaction. Then when Mikey inevitably gets sent to the nurse's office and the nurse calls his mom, his mom says something to the effect of, "What peanut allergy? Mikey isn't allergic to peanuts" and he learns his lesson that way. That way they could've just cut out the whole hospital scene and the hospital staff wouldn't have had to waste their time pretending to operate on Mikey.
Jesus, that is 10x more simple AND makes 10x more sense.

Actually, he was faking the peanut allergy in the original video as well. The teacher, the mom, the hospital staff, and the doctor were all playing along with it to teach him a lesson about skipping school work. But the alternate scenario works better, tho.
Wait, hear me out. What if he was actually allergic to peanuts, pretends to have an allergic reaction, gets caught, but then ACTULLY has one and no one believes him but then they realize he wasn't lying and he learns his lesson that way. I guess it's like the boy who cried wolf.

Ok, so when I was in sixth grade, my coach was making us run, and I fell and couldn't get up right away. I said to my coach "I think I twisted my knee or something" and he said something I would never forget. This man said, "well *it doesn't look twisted to me*" that afternoon my mom took me to the hospital. And sure enough, I dislocated my knee, and broke my pattela, (a knee bone.) I'm now just starting seventh grade, and I'm still recovering from surgery.

Dr Mike talking about the kid acting ill, and teachers not making assumptions is exactly what happened to me.
I had an undiagnosed heart condition from birth, I was complaining that my insides hurt and I couldn't breathe properly. Teacher dismissed it, thinking I was lying.
2 hours later I'm in surgery.
So it's important to listen to kids. Yeah they'll lie, but you can't just assume that everything is a lie. Sometimes they're trying to tell you that they're dying, but have 0 reference or vocabulary to convey it.

@@isntmypfpbeautiful5350 It was Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which alone would have been uncomfortable but unlikely to affect me until later on. But it was accompanied by Atrial fibrillation, giving me a very irregular heartbeat.
The 2 surgeries (both Radiofrequency ablations) put an end to my heart just seemingly doing its own thing.

Shampa Bose Just show up with a signed note from your doctor if you were sick. As long as you leave a notice 1-2 business days after your absence and then provide documentation, everything should be fine. Most schools aren’t that keen on having you there if you aren’t mentally capable of functioning, especially with covid and everything.

For the first one, my uncle on my dad’s side has Down Syndrome. He is the sweetest, most genuine man I know. He is a kindergarten teacher and soccer coach. He graduated from MIT with an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is a man I look up to very much. He just proves that people with Down Syndrome, or any learning or physical disability, can do anything.

I actually had a really rude teacher, like, really rude. I had migraines a lot and a gluten and lactose intolerance. As you can expect, I was in the nurses office a LOT. Eventually the teacher didn’t let me go because “you go too many times.” I had such a bad migraine I just laid my head down on the table and cried. What a horrible teacher, man.

Idk the pain of migraine, but I've had many sharp headaches during my exams, and even once during my finals, I kinds know the pain, and dealing with a rude guy during this....

If you want the "stupid" part of that, it's the fact that the cake was held out like that with no cover nor in a bag.
