- Viñales is a beautiful valley with limestone (karst) landscape. It is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
According to UNESCO: "The Viñales Valley is an outstanding karst landscape in which traditional methods of agriculture (notably tobacco growing) have survived unchanged for several centuries."

Would love to watch a video made by you from inside the grand gallery (khufu pyramid in giza) and some other eerie-feeling places. What's your personal favourite video you've made and the most exciting place you've visited so far?
Diego V Yes, I did Cueva del indio, but missed the larger one Gran Caverna de Santo Tomás, probably 15 km from Vinales :(

Hi, our Cuba trip starts after 2 weeks! cant wait :) In your video, when exactly starts clip about Los Aquaticos? To get to the village is possible only by walking? not by bikes? and which cueva you liked the most? all talking about San Miquel....
In the video Los Aquaticos starts soon after the Mural de la Prehistoria (the video follows our hike chronologically), I am not sure where exactly the border is, but this is the high area visible in the video at about 2:02 . Not sure you can get there by bike (you need to ride up the hill), but certainly walking or by horse. The local guides will show you the way, you can get them from the house where you stay. Cueva del Indio is larger you visit by boat, the other one is a bar where you can stop on the way back. Probably the best cueava is Santo Tomas, but it was closed on the day we were available to go there.

I see this view in your video too, not any old houses etc. Right? If so, then basically the same view I can experience from the hotel Los Jazmines too, right?
Andres Rootsi From Los Jazmines you have the best view but still walking and driving around the area with t he mogotes is great experience and you visit various areas and grottoes...
From inside the cave @ 1:38, there are two sets of glowing eyes. Any ideas as to what kind of animal they might be? Take a screenshot at that point, and you can then access that image with zooming capabilities. Kinda creepy.

I went there during Obama term ,the most Beautiful soil red clay ,grow what ever you want to eat , my Dream to live there and live of the land.

I like the music. I love the visuals. But the music does nothing for the visuals together. Had to mute it to truly enjoy the video. Would have been better to find some folkloric Cuban music to match the scenery. Just my opinion....

Yo recuerdo este valle con menos vegetación en su parte central. Ahora con las matas de papaya y otras cosas, parece diferente. Francamente, me gusta menos así. Tampoco meparece bien que una persona contemporánea haya pintado un mural que imita al arte de los indígenas. Esto me parece comercialismo de la peor calaña.

Tienes que pararte en el mirador del Hotel Los Jazmines ,que es el primer hotel del área ,a eso de las 6:30 m y verás un paisaje único ,cuando comienza a salir el sol y ves las nubes abrazando al sol le juro que es indescriptible lo que se siente.
Simplemente hay que ir.
