We visited Cuba 5 years ago. It is a great place to visit. I much prefer it to the USA, I feel saver in Havana at night-time than I would in say, Boston.

It was fascinating to witness the great culture among the Cuban people in a place that most of us can't see. I was hoping things would improve under the new leadership. We hear virtually nothing about it.

I went to Cuba about 8 years ago. It is a beautiful place, with beautiful friendly people, all who are like a community. I had such a great time I want to go back! Everyone gets along and everyone is very nice. Yes, it has delapidated buildings and very old vehicles, and the trash is a problem. It was not that bad when I was there. It's unfortunate that this video only shows the bad part. Some of Havana is beautiful, with beautiful homes and beautiful buildings. This vlogger only walked around and around the same places and showed the bad. Unfortunately, they didn't go to the other parts of Havana, so it gives the viewer a distorted perception of life in Cuba. I hope the next time someone makes a video of Cuba, and Havana specifically, they show a balanced and not one-sided perspective.

@@Jetlife904 you mean can I say? If you want clean street you have to stay in Vedado. But then you need taxis everyday to get to old town everyday and taxis aren’t cheap. If you stay in Vedado, la nave is a must (Uber equivalent) since Vedado isn’t a tourist area taxis can be hard to get so get the app. Also from the people I spoke to who stayed in Vedado buying simple stuff like water or drinks isn’t straight forward like staying in old town. So you have to choose between dirty old town with lots of restaurants and bars at your doorstep vs clean Vedado which requires lots of walking or taxi to get you your restaurants and tourists spot. There are some nice streets in old town but I don’t know their names off head and google street view is not available for Cuba (shock horror!) also bear in mind a street might be clean in Old town but the next street can be dirty which means for you to get to your destination you have to walk through the dirty street. I was 4 mins walk from the capitol building yet my street was dirty af. Oh the girls are quite hot if my Spanish was good I would have moved to some for sure, some of them would move to you stay away from those they are hookers/scammers

I went to Cuba about 8 years ago. It is a beautiful place, with beautiful friendly people, all who are like a community. I had such a great time I want to go back! Everyone gets along and everyone is very nice. Yes, it has delapidated buildings and very old vehicles, and the trash is a problem. It was not that bad when I was there. It's unfortunate that this video only shows the bad part. Some of Havana is beautiful, with beautiful homes and beautiful buildings. This vlogger only walked around and around the same places and showed the bad. Unfortunately, they didn't go to the other parts of Havana, so it gives the viewer a distorted perception of life in Cuba. I hope the next time someone makes a video of Cuba, and Havana specifically, they show a balanced and not one-sided perspective.

@@Jetlife904 you mean can I say? If you want clean street you have to stay in Vedado. But then you need taxis everyday to get to old town everyday and taxis aren’t cheap. If you stay in Vedado, la nave is a must (Uber equivalent) since Vedado isn’t a tourist area taxis can be hard to get so get the app. Also from the people I spoke to who stayed in Vedado buying simple stuff like water or drinks isn’t straight forward like staying in old town. So you have to choose between dirty old town with lots of restaurants and bars at your doorstep vs clean Vedado which requires lots of walking or taxi to get you your restaurants and tourists spot. There are some nice streets in old town but I don’t know their names off head and google street view is not available for Cuba (shock horror!) also bear in mind a street might be clean in Old town but the next street can be dirty which means for you to get to your destination you have to walk through the dirty street. I was 4 mins walk from the capitol building yet my street was dirty af.
Oh the girls are quite hot if my Spanish was good I would have moved to some for sure, some of them would move to you stay away from those they are hookers/scammers

Родная Куба. Был был 72-74 годы. Судя по ролику. Кубинцы стали жить значительно лучше чем при мне. В мон время. Была сплошная нищета. Мне приходилось видеть женщину. На которой за место платье был травяной мешок. А молодого парня.Обувь состояла из резиного сапага и туфли. Так жили люди. Кто в сплошной нищете. Кто чуть чуть получше
