I screwed together an engine like this for a mate's speedway car many years ago. Home port job on heads, paint scales to balance pistons and rods, big cam, good valve springs and a 350cfm Holley running on avgas. Missed terribly at 7000rpm and could work out why. Eventually realised the taco could switch between 4, 6 and 8 cylinders. When he switched it to 4 cylinders, we realised it was turning at 9000rpm. Valve train crash was the issue. Different diff gear and the car was a rocket. Great little honest engines. One really cool car mate!!!

I spent 4 years of my life 1972 /76 in a Datsun dealership parts department.
That’s so cool, wish there was more of the Datsun cars here on the east coast. Lots of weird ones over on the west coast
👊👍
What model webber carburetor are you using? Do you need an adapter for the carburetor? Great video thanks
Weber 32/36. If you purchase the kit for the truck, it comes with the correct adapter for the intake

Do it in a Datsun.
