Man I wish I was as good a mechanic as you are. I have a 1984 Nissan 720 pickup i would do anything to make her run again. Those old Japanese trucks are the best. Great video thanks for your hard work on it.
Just gotta get out there and teach yourself, that’s how I’ve learned. Give me like a month or so and this one will be back to driving down the road
Good luck with your new project
Thank you Bill!
Good luck welcome back been a couple months
Yea man, life and money. It gets hard to buy trucks 🤣
keep it and just weld some metal in and get it going since the engine runs why make more work for yourself by messing with the camper part
hello très belle auto quelle chance
Thank you! :)
Keep It just put new floors in it. Let’s see a finish project.
When are you getting back on the chinook
The chinook was taken apart because I didn’t have a title for it and the cab was so rotten. I still have the camper half, but I’m not sure if it’ll end up back on a Datsun or on another truck
🎉
So what's the difference between this camper and the other one. Is it just a name change from year to year or are there differences?
Another company made this one. Chinook and Galavan were both companies that converted these trucks into RV’s. The main difference in this one is that the roof doesn’t pop up like the Chinook
@@Rusty.Datsun thanks
So its a new camper instead of chanook?
This one is 100% getting built first. I may do the chinook some day but it’s hard not to build this one when it runs and has a title
Just get it running and gut out the back.
And you can use this one as your ‘parts go getter truck’….
I’ll probably do that but I do plan on camping in it eventually. Gonna start ordering parts soon to get it drivable
