I love the 620 series Datsun trucks to, and love the 521 series Datsun trucks even better. Wish Datsun/Nissan would build these trucks once again since gasoline prices are way out of sight and expensive these days.
I usually buy Weber carburetors for these. Look up “Datsun 620 Weber 32/36” and the fuel tank I bought came from Rockauto, believe it was for a 1984 Nissan 720 king cab
@@Rusty.Datsun okay thank you for letting me my grandpa had one identical to the one you have and now I know the one you have is not the one that was looking for. But those Datsun trucks are the most efficient trucks around and those trucks are a lot better than the other trucks combined you can make those trucks four-wheel drive easier then you can any bolt-on Chevrolet or Ford that's why I love those Datsuns

Was it difficult to remove and replace gas tank? How long did it take? Great video i have a 78 king cab not running
Wasn’t too difficult, there’s 8 bolts holding it in. Just a very dirty job. Took maybe an hour

“DORMAN 576807” is the fuel tank I used. It’s exactly the same for the 78 and 79 king cabs
