The last time the WWF Scratched logo was featured on wwe TV is crazy enough 2023. Bad Bunny randomly showed up on a Smackdown wearing a sweet wwf Racing jacket that would later be blurred.
I’ll be honest, when I first started following your channel over a year ago, I didn’t know how far you would take it… but seeing the progress, and the things you’ve covered… I’m amazed! Keep up the hard work, Maven ❤️
I always wondered why World Wildlife Fund waited so long to file a complaint. The website domain name makes a lot of sense. Thanks for answering that question. I enjoyed the video.
I think the world wildlife fund had been fighting against the wrestling using WWF for a long while. I think the first agreement the two companies came to was in the early 90's but Vince kept stretching the rules of the agreement further and further until the wildlife people had enough and took the final action.
I think that changed when the network launched. But I remember every DVD match compilation release had the WWF logos blurred which was annoying because that logo was EVERYWHERE in the arenas.
They didn’t get the rights to not blur it until around when the Network first came out. DVDs from before then are so irritating to watch. That logo was Everywhere.
I can’t explain why, but this time in the WWF was incredibly special to me, therefore this video means a lot. Thanks to you guys and everyone who gave footage and photos. Seriously, thank you.
I remember watching Insurrextion. I knew the territory days were truly over when they stopped using the WWF name I fell in love with during the Monday Night wars. I am still not used to saying “WWE” even after 20+ years. It was a sad day. At least the boys under the WWF banner had one last memorable hurrah on the plane ride back.
Fun fact: the last ever televised show (pretaped) under the “WWF” name was Sunday Night Heat on May 5th, 2002. The last image before the screen went black was Trish Status in the ring. The first “WWE” Raw went live the next night. The house show that Maven talks about happened the same night.
Thanx for remembering & reminding us. Psst.. for fun, look up WWF last show (Smackdown) on the UPN network. The ending, is one of Vince McMahon masterpiece(s). They moved to the CW for a bit after that.

@@trendmassacre8423 Man I totally agree with you and second that. They could of easily parted with WWF and gave it to Vince because how much work everyone put in behind that name. It feels like the Wildlife Fund just wanted to capitalize off of WWF success.

Glad you found the footage you asked for. Man I wish i could’ve seen it live. My first wwe show I was an adult and I took my son we were the same age for that little bit of time lol
Back when it was watchable!
Amen brother.... RIP WWF
Well, that will be your little secret.
Absolutely
Oh testify! ✋🏿
Another amazing video Mave.
Hands down best wrestling youtuber 👍🏻
My fav vids on this channel was your outtakes. It was hilarious
*Congrats Maven for getting picked as Linkin Park's new vocalist!*
I still call it WWF to this day. All the younger WWE fans that I know always look confused when I say WWF. I still can't get used to it . Excellent video Maven as usual!
I don't mind saying "WWE", but I cannot say "World Wrestling Entertainment", that just feels awkward instead of "Federation"
WAR-CHESTER 😂😂😂😂
I'd say it like that too. Change your city's spelling.
I love Rare Footage Mav! WWF over WWE anyday!
The Smackdown brand had the honor of having the last WWF show in the States.
I would tell the World Wildlife Fund to F off and rebrand WWE back to WWF
I love your channel ❤️. THANK YOU
I live 10 minutes up the road from the DCU center i did not know that the last wwf show was there. That would have been cool to see you outside there today to!!
I would have bought Maven dinner at The Mercantile or taken him to a Woosox game.
Got some pretty good footage! Shows you how much folks love some Maven!
When I saw you back as a wwf wrestler to wwe back in 2005 2007.
It didn’t come to my mind that maven would become a TH-camr
But those years TH-cam was still in its infancy
Wow my home city. Wished I knew you were around. Hope you got to see Polar Park home of the Worcester Red Sox which was voted best ballpark in AAA. This is also the same arena where Mick Foley won his first WWF title in the sold out arena. Tony Schiavone was so wrong. There were 14,000 butts in the seats that night. And speaking of Polar Park they are hosing wrestling there for the first time this Friday with Kevin Nash and Sting who will be there.
As a kid I was heartbroken how could the wwf be over I refused to call it wwe to this day me and some freinds or just simply guys from my childhood era we refer to it as wwf it was also the time a lot in my generation stop watching because around this time it took a different direction and rock and stone cold left which were our heros we never liked John cena lesnar or any other guy trying to be sold to us true WWF attitude era fans left with that era
Thank you so much maven for walking us through with details how that final wwf night was
