For those wondering who the traitor is the answer is luxu, remember that the page supposedly said "the one who bares the sigil." In kingdom hearts DDD we learn at the end the recusant's sigil is the X which he (young xehanort) put on sora's clothing. The only apprentice of the 6 to bare the it is luXu in his name, this is further proved in the cutscenes where he is seen at the keyblade graveyard seeing the world fall into darkness. The others never assumed he was a traitor because he was not among them in presence.
Sora too has a sigil on his chest....he could've time travelled to the very beginning before everything transpired but realized he can shape this world as he sees fit...
Liam White because that's what he wants luxu is the real apprentice, he raised the others specifically to manipulate them into killing eachother so as to, fullfill the books prophecies
The voice actor for The Master is phenomenal. He fits perfectly and has such a great command of emotion and nuance. I don't usually get impressed like this from an English voice actor, but damn this guy is good.
Plus he stands out so much from the rest of the others who are just anime cliches who act so ridiculously close minded and one sided Really their master apparently acts like this and they didn't feel they could act the same at all? Even if the Master is evil blah blah blah
Ray Chase truly got voice range! And he loves voicing the roles he's done! Shows how much passion he has, which is what most artists common trait would be is passion. And he's truly one of those artists with that drive! 😊
The Master of Masters is the real traitor, and played everyone like a fiddle for his own gain. He created both the Spirits, the Nightmares, and the bangles needed to gather light, and then told everyone to scour the light from the world, so that he would be able to summon and take the power of Kingdom Hearts. He forbid each Foreteller from doing the right thing (working together) and gave them the roles that would cause the most conflict. Never trust a prophet, especially one who writes ambiguous prophecies. Gula is the most level-headed and logical, so the Master sent him on a wild goose chase. After all, logic is only as good as your original presumption. If he didn't know absolutely that there was a traitor, he would normally be the one examining if there even is one in the first place. Invi is the one with the worst penchant for spying, so the Master gave her the job of being the mediator. She learns everything, and then spills the beans on each secret, foiling everyone. Ira is the most paranoid and doubtful, so the Master gave him the job of being the leader. His true role was to sew distrust amongst the others; how can you lead without trust? Aced is the most inflammatory and hostile, so the Master gave him the job of supporting a leader he was jealous of. He would be the one to instigate the original conflict - after all, he had "the most important job of all", to "spur the others into action". Ava is the most trusting and discerning, so the Master gave her the job to find the people who would be best to summon Kingdom Hearts, which KH:DDD established to require 7 Lights and 13 Darknesses: more people than expected to survive the Keyblade War. Luxu is the most easily cowed down, so he was given the most delicate job to the Master: making sure he survives. What we know from KH:DDD, is that Time Travel requires a body at the other end - and that the Master is still connected to the eye in his Keyblade. The Master set up everything to instigate the events that will wipe the sleight and lead to the end of the Light, and then infused himself into his Keyblade, knowing that it will survive to the end of the Light to see the other side of the conflict, so that he can travel to the end and collect the winnings.
I don't really think so. I think the "master is the traitor" is a red herring. The reason for that is the scene where he tells Ava her role: It is the only time we see him act serious and straightforward. That was the only important role for him. He himself said it, that there was no avoiding the war, that he wanted to focus on what comes next. That said, I too think that the roles of the other four were intended to cause the war, but not because he wanted it to happen. Because he KNEW it was going to happen, so he made sure that it at least happened on his terms. That way it was easier to plan for the aftermath.
Except, the Dandelions were made under false pretenses. The old story that Kairi's grandmother told stated that long ago, there was only one world until a battle was fought by people greedy for the Light, and it's implied that the events of Chi were detailing that very battle, further emphasized by the Master of Masters stating that "this world is made of many smaller worlds". Thus, the analogue is that the Dandelions were supposed to be the children who brought Light back to the world from the myth, which seems to align with the emphasis the Master has on "what comes after the War". EXCEPT, Unchained 0 shows that the Dandelions were sent into the Realm of Sleep before the Keyblade War, and only brought back into the Realm of Light long after the events of KH2 at the earliest (most likely due to the events of DDD). So they weren't the ones to bring the Light back. So they didn't do the job they were supposedly formed to do, someone else must have (probably something more literal, like actual children of survivors).
DrakeDraco2000 i dont think so, when ira say is what happen in last page is the true why wont we prevent it but as master can see future he say question which if the answer yes that mean the one book say in last page will come true, probably the trigger is when he wrote the book to his apprentice and ira say that he realize he and his apprentice cannot escape from the sin which they start, but the master also want some survivor to tell the story his misguide and misfortune apprentice so no more this happen, as you can see he give 2 apprentice order to survive one given role to raise many keyblade weilder and release them to the world and the other given role to make another group which role to become watcher you can say history holder and probably the original organization XIII, and when the other 4 start misunderstand their own role or feeling not worthy to hold that role, the master gone coz whatever he do now its will only hasten his dead as each his apprentice start misunderstand their role
Well, that would explain what Xehanort meant by saying "I swore I would survive..." If Xehanort really is just a future manifestation of the MoM, then everyone is doomed, for real.
I feel like the Keyblade war was all set up by him. He's the one who formed 5 fortellers/unions with different roles, had them collect lux, and plant the seeds of doubt knowing they would turn against one another. I feel like the Master just wanted the power of Kingdom Hearts. They should joined forces to stop the darkness like Aced said but it was strictly forbidden against his teachings for a good reason. It would prevent them from foiling his prophecy and anyone who deviated from the Master's teachings was deemed the traitor.
Yeah, I don't know who the traitor is, or really, if there even WAS one. MoM is the obvious candidate, but he says it at the very beginning: it's not their job to change what they know has to happen, but to prepare for the world that will come AFTER darkness rises. So the roles he gives everyone are not just to ensure the world continues on after the Keyblade War, but to make sure the Keyblade War actually HAPPENS, because as disastrous as it will be, who knows what will happen if you actively try to fuck with history. Ira was ordered to become the leader in order to unite the apprentices, but his accusations of there being a traitor only planted the seeds of doubt in everyone. Aced was ordered to spurn Ira into action if he ever needed a boost, but instead he took it upon himself to fight the darkness instead of Ira, isolating himself from everyone. Invi was ordered to observe and mediate everyone, but her constant reports to Ira only served to make everyone distrust her. Gula was ordered to hunt down the traitor, but when he finally makes his move against who he suspects, all it does is turn everyone but Ava against him. Ava was ordered to stay out of the fighting between unions and make sure a group of Keyblade wielders survived outside the conflict for the new world, but in doing so, she allowed things to get worse and worse due to her strict alignment with the MoM, and nothing else. And finally, Luxu was ordered not to interfere, and to make sure everything in the Book of Prophecies comes to pass as intended. Basically, a perfect storm to accomplish MoM's vision: you can't change what is destined to happen, but you CAN preserve hope for the events that come AFTER.
ProsafiaGaming You have the English version already aw well but either way im dissapointed in the story of X-chi back cover its average and bland at times the way that the story is handled by Namoura.
If only KH 1.5+2.5 was remade with the unreal engine like x [chi] Back Cover and Birth by Sleep 0.2 A fragmentary passage, it'd be so coo and interesting! But I can dream.
Idk but I feel like the master of masters doesn't feel like he's from this timeline his speech patterns are so different from his students . They are so noble in a way while he kids around his voice reminds me of Axel(Lee)
I feel like his personality and tone are out of place as well. He's more hippy trendy like and uses a lot of exaggeration and sarcasm. You'd think he'd be more serious.

The Master seems to have rigged the entire situation so it will fail. -Ira seems to be at his best when he has all the information, so the Master kept a page away from Ira, making him suspicious of his allies. -The Master gave that page to Gula, giving him an almost Inquisition vibe, as he seeks out and destroys anyone without blind loyalty. -Invi's role ensured Ira knows the actions of the other members, making sure he grows suspicious towards the other members. Also, the others start trusting her less because she tells. -Aced's role was to literally usurp Ira if Ira started acting suspiciously... Which was inevitable due to the above. -Ava's role was to steal the strongest keybladers from the other guilds, guaranteeing that if the guilds fought, no one could win. Also, I feel Ava could have stopped the group from falling apart, if she wasn't so occupied with the dandelions AND her own guild. Meanwhile, everyone is so distracted, they don't even think about what happened to Luxu...
Link Skywalker The best way to get someone to do something, is tell them they can't. That's why he forbid summoning Kingdom Hearts. So they would all race to summon it and start the keyblade war.
XadexSquared And about the seeds of dissonance... KH's central narrative theme is frendship right? Well what if the MoM's plan was in fact to plant discord amongst the foretellers (who I would be willing to bet that while the MoM was training them, they were close friends) by not only forbidding the unions to unify with each other, as well as the summoning of Kingdom Hearts, but also creating worlds from the book of prophecies for foretellers (and by extension, their unions and everyone in them, except for the dandelions) to collect lux as well as giving them conflicting roles to plant the seeds of the keyblade war? After all, the power of friendship is only as strong as the trust they have in said friends, like sora had with donald and goofy, among others
Actually in the mobile game Gula told the PC and a girl named Skuld that Ava went to look for Luxu, Luxu told her who the traitor is and she attacked.... Which tolls the bell that the Keyblade War starts.
For those who haven't noticed it yet but, I figured out that their names are actually are actually the seven deadly sins in Latin. I noticed that when their names were introduced especially Ira and Gula. The translations are: Ira - Wrath Invi (invidia) - Envy Gula - Gluttony Aced (acedia) - Sloth Ava (avaritia) - Avarice Luxu (luxuria) - Lust I always do a Language study so I happen to know the seven deadly sins in Latin. Take note that one is missing which is superbia (pride). Maybe superbia or anywhere closer is the Master's name somehow? I don't know. This is just a theory though.
And which demon is associated with Pride? Lucifer. And who was originally going to be the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts? Chernabog. Walt Disney himself described Chernabog as the devil himself The Chernabog we fight in the games seems much smaller compared to the actual one in Fantasia, who has the size of a titan. I had this theory(which is a mix of wishful thinking and over-the-top nonsense), that Kingdom Hearts is actually a prison and not the Heart of all Worlds as Xehanort claims, and Chernabog is imprisoned within, and the former is being manipulated into summoning Kingdom Hearts believing he could harness the power, but instead, as soon as the opens it with the χ-blade, Chernabog is released and is revealed as the true villain. The Master may be a projection of Chernabog(who sets up the events that would lead to the moment when Kingdom Hearts is summoned by Xehanort).
In Kingdom Hearts X Chi, the keyblade war is inevitable. Your character fights in the war and ultimately dies. Luxu's role was fulfilled to see the future through his apprentices... and the book of prophecies is proof of that success. HOWEVER, what they did not see was that Malificent would go back in time during the time of the Keyblade War (We learn this through Re:Coded and the ending of KHXChi). THUS the ending of KHXChi leads to the start of KH Unchained X where your character survives as a member of the dandelions and Maleficent observes the war from afar.
I know that you're talking about Ray Chase but I think Haley Joel Osment also had fun voicing Sora and Vanitas. I mean he said that he loves Sora and wants to play him forever.
Gula: "No wonder you ended up as the bear. You're scary." Ava: "Maybe you can growl at them?" Aced: ... "Ah! Don't insult me!" 😆 I found it funny how they all teased Aced!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I believe the Master of Masters is a time traveler, which is why eventually he had to fade because he couldn't stay in that time period any longer. He may not even by an actual master but an usurper of the ACTUAL master and stole his role. Luxu might be the first to carry the "sigil." Luxu has an "x." Xehanort has an "x." X in Greek is like "chi (kē)" X= key Those who carry the sigil are the key.... but to what?🤔
Chris Range I'm still digesting this whole movie. Why was the MoM basically evil? Where the hell is Luxu from?? Why didn't they just forgo their master's bs and be transparent with one another? Why does he even keep entire studies on almost everyone but Luxu??? What's in that damn box!? It's driving me crazy.
Chris Range Seriously! The other thing that is making me go mad right now is why Sora, Kairi, Riku, Ven, Aqua, and Terra have blue eyes; Lea and Isa have green eyes (until Isa became a vessel.) Why the Master's eye has a vertical pupil is beyond me. Also, Riku's eyes are the same color as the Master's. *Tetsuya Nomura is honeydicking us all.*
my my my.....smh. I've watched this so many times and you know what I see? I see pure and innocent children being led astray. I also see somewhat of a metaphor for world wars. This is probably my favorite thing to come from KH aside from KH II. So intense and fresh 💙 Really looking forward to the new arc and hopefully we'll get a 3D makeover of Union X.
I always thought the keyblade war participants were an army of darkness and an army of light. All of them adults. Who would have thought, that they were all young children too loyal to their Union Leaders to question anything. A graveyeard full of dead kids....
But if it was, why was he chosen to be a Dandelion? Dandelions are usually the ones who are very pure and aren’t susceptible to darkness. Ephemer fits that description.
Man after reading the book, I wish Skald had at least some screen time. She takes over most of the book and even has some secret talks with the foretellers even without the main character you create present. I would have also loved to see the cutscene between Luxu and Ava, after Ava finds him just overlooking the chaos of the war and tells her secretly who the traitor really was. (I think it is heavily implied that the traitor was Luxu himself. But the dialogue I read didn't seem to be clear). Also there is an after war scene they could have done as well that kind of hints that this graveyard is a wilderness away from the enchanted dominion. Which honestly kind of explains why it's theme keeps playing when the foretellers gather at the clocktower. There is just so much to unwind but I am glad they animated what they did! It's honestly was really cool to see all this come together like a movie.
Luxu is the traitor. He deviated from his mission which is only to observe but he intervene everytime when it's necessary like during in x Union and Dark Road. But it was always intended that way by MoM since he knew Luxu couldn't resist to help them due to Luxu's kind nature
Is it me or is every member except Ava horrible, I mean Ira failed in preventing the prophecy coming true, Aced failed to keep Ira focused as leader and attempted to start a secret alliance behind Ira's back, Invi failed to make sure everyone was in order and was ok going to war like there's no other choice but this, and Gula wants to summon Kingdom Hearts, which he knows could have terrible impacts on other worlds. They had their Unions turn against each other and started the Keyblade War. As Ava knew what to do as she may have been the only left to follow her role and that was to have her union walk away and take no actions before the war even started.
Their given role is wrong. Maybe this is the true given role to them. Aced is the leader (he have more leadership than the others. He never just think about it's self in the first but think about everyone feelings and the future. Also the leader must have new teaching to give to other that look good by obey and defy some MoM's teaching), Invi is Aced's right handman (Invi cannot make a strong bond connection from the 5 foretellers. She more to be an advicer in the video), Ava is the mediator (Ava can make a strong bond connection from the others more than Invi), Gula is the finest keyblade wielder master and the last one Ira is the traitor founder (He only care about it's self and don't care about other feelings. And just focus to the truth about the future and still believe with false teachings from MoM)
actually now i get why vanitas has the same face as sora.Because of master xehanort keyblade that see through the future, with that keyblade he extracted the dark side of ventus and the future eye made him look like his future self...Sora.For me it makes more sense now.
Vanitas looks like Sora because when half of Ventus' heart was destroyed from Xehanort separating their light and dark side, Ventus became comatose and Vanitas didn't have a face, he had no face but red eyes similar to coat nightmare boss from DDD, so when the new born Sora completed Ventus' heart with his during the beginning of Birth by Sleep, it gave Vanitas the future face of the person that shared their heart with Ventus. It was explained in the Birth by Sleep novel.
it's not that actually the novel aren't canon.More than that nomura explained a lot of things in the lore of kh but why not this fact of vanitas with sora's kh 2 face. Those are still theory and even if the fact that ventus is connected to sora that doesn't explain why he has that kh 2 face. That's why im just thinking ,not overthinking.
I've finally got some answers... but now I have more questions! And the Master of Masters is awesome! He set all this up, but I can't help but love his character.
Note when MoM mentions there being 7 of them, but that he probably doesn't count. Implying he's already one of them. Then he refuses to give the book the Luxu due to preventing a paradox. And when reference Luxu early on, they mention that he disappeared. But so did the Master of Masters. He disappears when his time is up and Luxu changes history. But Luxu disappeared as in he ran off to do essentially his own bidding, unbenounced to him. The "No Name" keyblade essentially relays all information obtained by its wielders to the original Luxu, I.E the one who is the Master of Masters. Perhaps the original Luxu, aka MoM, implanted not only his all-seeing 'eye' but his heart or soul into the keyblade. Now as it is passed down generationally, he can extend his lifespan because his essence lies within the BODY of the keyblade. So he is essentially traveling to the future, and exists throughout this entire time. If he manifests into a heart, this would allow him to time travel anywhere from modern time all the way back to before the keyblade war, if he so chooses. This must be how he originally got The Book of Prophecies.. it's basically just a combination of Ansem's research as well as a history of the past. But he took that information back with him, to manipulate the others into doing his bidding. So he's already managed to alter the timeline from what it was supposed to be and he ends up causing the keyblade war deliberately. Luxu is the first seeker of darkness. And since he can travel through time at any point from then until now, and he doesn't have a natural body after a certain time (he would've died eventually, but lived on through the No Name keyblade), he must've possessed someone in the future. I wonder if he has possessed one of the modern characters? Or maybe he hasn't possessed anyone yet and still lingers in "No Name".. perhaps he plans to possess Xehanort once Xehanort splices with the 12 other members of Organization XIII, and Luxu essentially takes over all of them at once?
Bruce Alrighty Interesting theory. Would be cool but kind of disappointing. I don't want Xehanort to be diminished at all. He has been behind everything and needs the main focus in the end
The master cunningfully gave each of them roles that would make them turn against one other in the end... And Aced was indeed the best leader, willing to defy the masters teaching to unify everyone into action against the darkness
@@xVaCaa no i mean its actually brain. if you look at the kh3 secret report 12, luxu says he bequeaths his keyblade to one of the five BEFORE heading off and disappearing, and presumably starting his body hopping. brain/luxu clearly has no name in that scene. we also know that luxu doesnt have the box in kh3, as xigbar asks xemnas to make the org look for it. of course, this all raises a lot of questions, like why do we also see brain wake up at scala, and i absolutely be talking out my ass, but thats my understanding of the events. as a sidenote, from a meta perspective we know that it being luxus VA doesnt mean anything, as in bbs young xehanort was voiced by rikus va, indicating a trend of not getting new voice actors to play characters before they have a lot of lines.
Master of Masters, to Ava: Don't get involved in any battles...Have your elite band of Keyblade Wielders go into another world and keep the light alive! Ava: *Proceeds to fight in the battles* Dandelions: *Get trapped in the Digi-World* Union leaders: *Get killed, sent too far into the future, or turned into Nobodies, leaving only Ephemer and maybe Brain to do the job the Master gave them in the first place* Master of Masters: Hmm
I have noticed that MoM always say, "may your heart be your guiding key." Which basically means do what you think is right. Since everyone is trying to do what they think is right, it only helps the MoM's plans to succeed. Since he is using something positive as a way to create a negative. Interesting.
So Xehanort is Luxu's apprentice? Because Xehanort has the keyblade Luxu was meant to give to his apprentice so...And if that's the eye that makes the Master of Masters see it...many other keyblades have it. That means he sees through them?
Tomislav Klarica I thinks the x person shall be xehanort and eraqus master(because in a trailer of kh3,while young xehanort and young eraqus was playing chess, you can see this keyblade put in a wall) sorry for my english
jeeesus how are they keeping this up? there's so fucking much in the storyline at this point and they are doing shit like this showing us events years before the main games and it all makes sense? who does that?!
I gotta say...this was fantastic. The dialogue might be a little clunky here and there, by this is a pretty interesting story with a lot of good suspense and mystery. And it only leaves you with ore questions. Who is the MoM? Who is Luxu? Why did the master do all this? Who starts the war? What does Xehanort have to do with all this? Why do the foretellers wear masks all the time? Why does master sound so different from everyone else? Why did he vanish? What's in the box? And what does this have to do with KH3? I'll admit KH's overall story might be INCREDIBLY CONVILUDED, but damn does this mystery have me curious. Also FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SORA GET AQUA OUT OF THE REALM TO DARKNESS! She's already suffered enough as is.
So Invi Ava and Unicorn guy are collecting Lux to maintain the Light and Balance. And Gula and Aced are collecting it to summon KH. To bring back the Master.
one of the most amazing part of storys I've seen until point so fkin interesting could watch for hours and the personality designs are genius especially from the master of masters , glad to see this is the preparing point for kh 3
Wow! this looks like a Disney and anime movie at the same time no wonder why I love the series sense I was a kid. and the master of masters it's sow funny😊😂
Yeah, I went back to this X saga thing looking for answers after playing KH3Re:Mind and I am left with more questions. And I have a feeling Union X will only get me more confused...
Now... I just have even more questions... what is in the box? Who really is the traitor? Is there any connections between the Foretellers and the current set of Keyblade wielders?
there is no traitor. it was a scheme of MoM to turn the Foretellers against each other to trigger the KBwar and reveal Kingdom Hearts. Luxus role to pass down the Keyblade is intresting tho.. and confusing, since the book of prophecies seems to be made of events the eye sees in the future, or saw being passed down. omg i just confused myself. lol. funny enough, the fox-girl is the only one to stay true to her role given to her
Zeph97 All these games that past is all in a alternate universe as you can see it say the light expires but Ava is the only one for hope of light but the master saw that darkness took over before that's why when he gave the keyblade to luxu he said do not open the box it may or may not cause a paradox which means he already did in another universe aka kingdom hearts chi on the pc at the end u see your character die for not joining the dandelions that was the universe were everyone died in the keyblade war
This is just a thought on a possible theory here, and I know it may seem far-fetched, but what if the Master of Masters was in the box? What if, when Luxu left and the Master of Masters disappeared, it was really his heart that Luxu carried? And that he's been in there watching the events up till now through the keyblade with his eye in it until that box is finally opened?
I keep rewatching this and honestly I feel like there's no traitor. I think they were tricked by the Master. Luxu (Xigbar) probably knows this too of something like that. Honestly this is just so confusing even though I've been playing this game since forever.
Now I really want a decently long keyblade wars sequence! That would simply look so epic with all the spells and clashing all around the place. I mean, it's a terrible tragedy in the game, but surely it would make for an imposing scene!
Sora is the master of masters. Sora disappears at the end of 3, uses the power of waking to time travel. The end of 3 is next phase of soras evolution and eventually become MOM. Just a theory.
It's actually rather close minded which may have been what they were going for cause well (Actually wow I'm gonna end up using something "Not Ansem/time traveling Xehanort said in the first game) One who knows nothing can understand nothing so really following blindly what YOU PERSONALLY think without any other perspectives or knowledge of the world in mind of how other people think is stupid
Maybe he's the antagonist in the next saga. This saga's antagonist is Xehanort. Nomura even said that KH3 is the last game in the Xehanort Saga, but not the last game in the series.
I think the master is Xigbar from the future. Maybe something happened in kingdom hearts 3 where he ends up surviving and going back to the past at some point.
Silversentiment YES AGREE!!!!! But someone said something about VANITAS LOOKING LIKE SORA FOR A REASON TOO... before Sora and VANITAS HEARTS fuse... so excited and confuse
This really puts what you knew about the Kingdom Hearts story into perspective. I question these Foretellers' faulty loyalties to their master. His manipulations are what caused this to happen, and it was like he wanted to see how things would play out.Their loyalties are flawed, but I guess I can understand why. If they didn't believe in him, then that would mean everything they had ever known or accomplished would've been for nothing.
it all comes back. xehanort manipulated terra into trusting him and used him as his own vessel, and MoM manipulated luxu into trusting him and probably used him as his vessel too. young xehanort also manipulated sora in a way, or at the very least altered his perception of reality, in order to make him succumb to darkness and make him his vessel. the time traveller!MoM theory stands pretty well imho.
I've been a fan of KH from the beginning but I don't think 2.8 is worth $60, you basically get a remake, demo, and movie that did nothing but add new elements to the plot rather than clear things up. I'll definitely pick it up maybe after I get the 1.5+2.5 remix
The Master of Masters is clearly Braig (his new self). My Theory: Braig is similar to Terra Xehonart (no memories, lives innocent life), his heart is inside Kingdom Hearts or connected to it somehow. Braig already has powers when we first meet him, it's similar to Terra Xehonart; Ansem tapped the dark in Xehonarts heart and he (re)gained unnatural abilities, something like this happened to Braig pre Xigbar. Xigbar remembers everything, hence why he's so mysterious (compared to Braig); he knows too much, also his conversation with Zexion in KH2 FM. Zexions book is or related to the book of prophecy. Xigbar tells Sora in KH2 boss battle that the other weilders are much stronger than him, Nomura even said he knows about the other keyblade weilders (Possibly Terra, Aqua and Ven, but they're just kids too). Xigbar and Xehonarts goals are the same. Xigbar sees no reason to interfere. Xehonart is similar to the Animal council; Xigbar/M.o.M let's them be, gives guidance (Saix acts as number 2, Xigbar does his own thing). Xigbar survives KH3 That ladies and gentlemen, is my theory.
I really dig how in the final scene with the MoM and luxu the music became all creepy and distorted. Basically saying that those two were indeed the villains
The others never assumed he was a traitor because he was not among them in presence.
and then the next generation of Foreteller all have that X and shows signs of breaking the rules. Yay. So who is the traitor now.
Sora too has a sigil on his chest....he could've time travelled to the very beginning before everything transpired but realized he can shape this world as he sees fit...
these 2 replies in the above especially the first guy is stupid potato because we're talking about the traitors in KHUX not after KHUX
But didn't master Ava found out later on before she was killed by Luxu? And everyone didn't know he is the traitor?
@@dannahigutierrez84 it's already been confirmed my theory was right the traiter was Luxu, the MoM mentioned it.
The master guy is so nonchalant. "Oh yeah, the worlds end. Welp."
Liam White how you write like that?
I guess when you can see into the future. You pretty much have the freedom of giving zero fucks.
Liam White because that's what he wants luxu is the real apprentice, he raised the others specifically to manipulate them into killing eachother so as to, fullfill the books prophecies
StarMech Xerez all of this was his plan
The Master of Masters is basically the Kingdom Hearts version of Deadpool.
The voice actor for The Master is phenomenal. He fits perfectly and has such a great command of emotion and nuance. I don't usually get impressed like this from an English voice actor, but damn this guy is good.
Plus he stands out so much from the rest of the others who are just anime cliches who act so ridiculously close minded and one sided
Really their master apparently acts like this and they didn't feel they could act the same at all? Even if the Master is evil blah blah blah
He's by far my top 3 favorite KH character so far. I love his personality.

Ray Chase truly got voice range! And he loves voicing the roles he's done! Shows how much passion he has, which is what most artists common trait would be is passion. And he's truly one of those artists with that drive! 😊

If they ever did a live action of this they would probably cast Ryan Reynolds lol since The MoM reminds me of DeadPool with his playful nature.
Well, that would explain what Xehanort meant by saying "I swore I would survive..."
If Xehanort really is just a future manifestation of the MoM, then everyone is doomed, for real.
Aced's voice can't be taken seriously after i realised it is the same of Knuckles from Sonic Boom
Also Thor in Avengers Assemble and the other series set in that continuity and Star Wars Fallen Order.

Really appreciate,it thanks❤❤❤❤
Thomas Simkins He did seem to be planting seeds of dissonance between the foretellers...
Lawrence Gist I'm starting to think he also knew that Luxu would open the box even after emphasizing that he shouldn'tve at least twice
The translations are:
Ira - Wrath
Invi (invidia) - Envy
Gula - Gluttony
Aced (acedia) - Sloth
Ava (avaritia) - Avarice
Luxu (luxuria) - Lust
I always do a Language study so I happen to know the seven deadly sins in Latin. Take note that one is missing which is superbia (pride). Maybe superbia or anywhere closer is the Master's name somehow? I don't know. This is just a theory though.
A zoom to the black box shows in the red heart the is the name "Super" and he says he is part of them so yeah Super is MoM's real name.
Lol. I figured them out when they were mentioned due to the fact that I speak spanish (latin comes naturally to me).
And which demon is associated with Pride?
Lucifer.
And who was originally going to be the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts?
Chernabog.
Walt Disney himself described Chernabog as the devil himself
The Chernabog we fight in the games seems much smaller compared to the actual one in Fantasia, who has the size of a titan.
Very interesting that Pride, the only missing one, has always been in KH as the difficulty setting
Funny how each sin doesn't match each's personality
Anyone here back after the kh ux ending on luxu's reveal?

In Kingdom Hearts X Chi, the keyblade war is inevitable. Your character fights in the war and ultimately dies. Luxu's role was fulfilled to see the future through his apprentices... and the book of prophecies is proof of that success. HOWEVER, what they did not see was that Malificent would go back in time during the time of the Keyblade War (We learn this through Re:Coded and the ending of KHXChi). THUS the ending of KHXChi leads to the start of KH Unchained X where your character survives as a member of the dandelions and Maleficent observes the war from afar.

I believe the Master of Masters is a time traveler, which is why eventually he had to fade because he couldn't stay in that time period any longer. He may not even by an actual master but an usurper of the ACTUAL master and stole his role. Luxu might be the first to carry the "sigil."

ACAY I have so many questions. This movie made my need for answers so much more severe.
ACAY I'd probably be better off if I hadn't watched it. it's just another layer of a confusing mess.
ACAY For real
my my my.....smh.

Ephemer reminds me a lot of Sora. Look how he runs and how nice he is.
vinny hernandez it's a facade

What book are u talking about?
Can you share a link or something regarding this book please?
Luxu is the traitor. He deviated from his mission which is only to observe but he intervene everytime when it's necessary like during in x Union and Dark Road. But it was always intended that way by MoM since he knew Luxu couldn't resist to help them due to Luxu's kind nature
Kh fandom: oh boy a prequel this will give us some answers

Kh fandom: REEEEEEAAAAA!!!!
Also KhX : * SPILL MORE QUESTIONS *
the problem with searching for a traitor is you will always find one even if there wasn't one when you started
As Ava knew what to do as she may have been the only left to follow her role and that was to have her union walk away and take no actions before the war even started.
well you could say that the master of master went out of his way to fuck them miss leading them and giving the wrong jobs for what needed to be done
Ava's the one who started the war by attacking Luxu tho
No. The traitor was the master. The only person he truly cared about was Luxu. He used the rest to continue his prophecy.
This whole movie is unbearable bad written. It's hard to tell who's the dumbest of them
actually now i get why vanitas has the same face as sora.Because of master xehanort keyblade that see through the future, with that keyblade he extracted the dark side of ventus and the future eye made him look like his future self...Sora.For me it makes more sense now.
Alchemike WTF! That's totally possible!!! I mean it also makes sense and explains why VANITAS looks like Sora!
VileMK69 Z really?!?! Got to read the NOVELS!!! 😳😳😳😳🤔😨😱😱😱
yeah but why his future self?like his kh 2 version thats the thing thats why i thought about xehanort keyblade power to see the future
it's not that actually the novel aren't canon.More than that nomura explained a lot of things in the lore of kh but why not this fact of vanitas with sora's kh 2 face. Those are still theory and even if the fact that ventus is connected to sora that doesn't explain why he has that kh 2 face. That's why im just thinking ,not overthinking.

More confused
Kingdom hearts is in the box, I'm calling it
Josh Whittemore agreed
I've watched this like 15 times already, I love this so much
I've finally got some answers... but now I have more questions!
And the Master of Masters is awesome! He set all this up, but I can't help but love his character.
i feel like this just caused a mass of questions
Note when MoM mentions there being 7 of them, but that he probably
doesn't count. Implying he's already one of them. Then he refuses to
give the book the Luxu due to preventing a paradox.
Spencer Richards Would be quite a twist though.
That it would be. Too bad we will never figure out. KH3 is taking too long
which means his name is based on seven deadly sins like his apprentices.
Wow it makes sense
The masters of masters just turned the cause of fighting against the darkness into a huge game of Among Us
Quite ironic. Preventers became the reason of the Keyblade war.
when impostor iz sus 😟
MoM: Acts like a goof.
Also MoM: *Has actually seen the future and gives absolutely no fucks about it*
Yoo those cutscenes and story is insanely interesting, more than the current (sora) story imo. I so wanna see more of this.
This shit is DEFINITELY going to play a huge part of the next arc of KH
I think it's interesting that there is pleasant music playing in all the meetings with Master but Luxu, where it's extremely chaotic.
The master cunningfully gave each of them roles that would make them turn against one other in the end... And Aced was indeed the best leader, willing to defy the masters teaching to unify everyone into action against the darkness
who’s here after the UX finale to look for Luxu’s hair in the final scene?
he wouldnt have been xigbar at that point. in fact, the union cross ending implies that its brain in that scene, not luxu
@@koumori9214 i mean, i guess you would have to say it’s actually brain’s hair.. but it’s still luxu’s consciousness, right?
@@koumori9214 i see, in the end there’ll probably be some good ol’ nomura f*ckery to explain all the different perspectives
Master of Masters, to Ava: Don't get involved in any battles...Have your elite band of Keyblade Wielders go into another world and keep the light alive!
Ava: *Proceeds to fight in the battles*
Dandelions: *Get trapped in the Digi-World*
Union leaders: *Get killed, sent too far into the future, or turned into Nobodies, leaving only Ephemer and maybe Brain to do the job the Master gave them in the first place*
Master of Masters: Hmm
Bruh the entire KH series is just the master playing 5D chess
I have noticed that MoM always say, "may your heart be your guiding key."
Which basically means do what you think is right.
Since everyone is trying to do what they think is right, it only helps the MoM's plans to succeed. Since he is using something positive as a way to create a negative.
Interesting.
Yeah so he must be tied to the group of Yen Sid (Notice how he is a master)
WHAT THE FUCK IS IN THAT BOX, DAMMIT SQUARE-
Is it just me or do those foreteller outfits look super comfy?
I've waited so long for this moment, I think I'm gonna pray!
So Xehanort is Luxu's apprentice? Because Xehanort has the keyblade Luxu was meant to give to his apprentice so...And if that's the eye that makes the Master of Masters see it...many other keyblades have it. That means he sees through them?
I think there is one more person between them it is houdnreds of years after all
its Luxu --> x person --> Xehanort
Tomislav Klarica I thinks the x person shall be xehanort and eraqus master(because in a trailer of kh3,while young xehanort and young eraqus was playing chess, you can see this keyblade put in a wall)
sorry for my english
Xehanort's master was Yensid
thorin oakenshield no,yensid was an apprentice when eraqus and xehanort was apprentice too
im not sure about him being an apprentice with them but yeah couldnt find proof of him being their master.
jeeesus how are they keeping this up? there's so fucking much in the storyline at this point and they are doing shit like this showing us events years before the main games and it all makes sense? who does that?!
That One Changeling square enix
where the worlds were still one? can you imagine all the disney characters interacting each other? it'll be like ToonTown in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
To bring back the Master.
ava and gula tho... i always liked the idea but i didn't expect to actually see much interaction between them
i'm so glad
and sad
You can hate the story but the voice acting is AMAZING.
one of the most amazing part of storys I've seen until point so fkin interesting could watch for hours and the personality designs are genius especially from the master of masters , glad to see this is the preparing point for kh 3
Ephemer strangely reminds me of Sora
Saameee
Maybe they’re connected in some way, like ancestor and descendant. Or maybe they pulled a Ventus again. IDFK anymore
Ephemer is a small lil bean
Wow! this looks like a Disney and anime movie at the same time no wonder why I love the series sense I was a kid. and the master of masters it's sow funny😊😂
Ray Chase is an amazing voice actor
the master is my favorite character tbh
Nae Dix he’s like Lea/ Axel
i love how 2.8 is bringing back music from the very 1st games
This sure does hit different in 2021 doesn't it :')
Yeah, I went back to this X saga thing looking for answers after playing KH3Re:Mind and I am left with more questions. And I have a feeling Union X will only get me more confused...
Either the MoM is playing 4D chess, or he is worlds greatest gaslighter.
Now... I just have even more questions... what is in the box? Who really is the traitor? Is there any connections between the Foretellers and the current set of Keyblade wielders?
Zeph97 who is luxu and the master of masters and what the master whispered to him
That as well
there is no traitor. it was a scheme of MoM to turn the Foretellers against each other to trigger the KBwar and reveal Kingdom Hearts. Luxus role to pass down the Keyblade is intresting tho.. and confusing, since the book of prophecies seems to be made of events the eye sees in the future, or saw being passed down. omg i just confused myself. lol. funny enough, the fox-girl is the only one to stay true to her role given to her
its all a secret maybe kingdom hearts 3 might hold secrets my your heart be your guiding key
Okay ima just say it anybody feel that..."Terra Vibe" from Aced when you watch this?
AlmightySSJ Productions same
Ava: "summoning kingdom hearts is forbidden!"
A sudden ad: "new good kind pure"
This is just a thought on a possible theory here, and I know it may seem far-fetched, but what if the Master of Masters was in the box? What if, when Luxu left and the Master of Masters disappeared, it was really his heart that Luxu carried? And that he's been in there watching the events up till now through the keyblade with his eye in it until that box is finally opened?
Jasmine Alicea As much as I'd love a crossover, this isn't OUAT.
Jasmine Alicea Honestly that was my gut feeling about the box.
Jasmine Alicea what if the Master of Masters is the actual leader of the True Organization?
You have done a good job putting all this together im going to subscribe to you😃😀☺
I keep rewatching this and honestly I feel like there's no traitor. I think they were tricked by the Master. Luxu (Xigbar) probably knows this too of something like that. Honestly this is just so confusing even though I've been playing this game since forever.
There is actually one…. Luxu.
They could of had a FIELD day with the master's dialog.
Now I really want a decently long keyblade wars sequence! That would simply look so epic with all the spells and clashing all around the place. I mean, it's a terrible tragedy in the game, but surely it would make for an imposing scene!
I feel as if Square-Enix just Salt Baed this whole thing with cliffhangers and plot twists lol
If the master is a time traveler, I'd love for it to be Lea (Axel), really sounds like him too.
Sora is the master of masters. Sora disappears at the end of 3, uses the power of waking to time travel. The end of 3 is next phase of soras evolution and eventually become MOM. Just a theory.
Post Union Cross ending...this hits pretty different, but also...so many more questions...
Their movement and attitude looks alike in BBS character
Gula : Ven
Aced : Terra
Aqua : Ivi,
do you guys agree?
Aced is a bigger jackass than Terra, and Gula is more Ienzo than Ven, but Invi is Aqua....ok.
30:00 Please tell me y’all heard the VA’s, “what,” like I did?😂
Yep😂
"May your heart be your guiding key." I like that I'm going to start using that.
2022 dosent seem like five years dose it?
OMG! I stay with what I said on Cynical's video...the Master of Masters should be good friends with Bill Cipher!
I think The Master of Masters is adult Ephemer. His eyes are the exact same shade of blue as the eye in the keyblade.
So is this master of masters guy the true antagonist?
Maybe he's the antagonist in the next saga. This saga's antagonist is Xehanort. Nomura even said that KH3 is the last game in the Xehanort Saga, but not the last game in the series.
I think not. He just tested his apprentinces
Putra Dharma by causing an all out war that wiped out everything and everyone in the world? I don’t think it can be considered a test.
Putra Dharma The devil imagery is a little too obvious
Ding ding ding
I think the master is Xigbar from the future. Maybe something happened in kingdom hearts 3 where he ends up surviving and going back to the past at some point.
Silversentiment YES AGREE!!!!! But someone said something about VANITAS LOOKING LIKE SORA FOR A REASON TOO... before Sora and VANITAS HEARTS fuse... so excited and confuse
WELL SHIT CLOSE
Close
This series hasn't come to a conclusion after more than 15 years 😁. It hurts the fact SE doesn't even release this series on PC. Time to get a PS4
It's on Xbox now
Also nope, KH4!
0:22
Light will see defeat and expire, while darkness prevails evermore.........
Hmmm......
9:59 He said the thing!
20:00 30:59 He too!
I'm really excited for the Kingdom Hearts Ephemer arc. I love this character.
omfg. Noctis is the Master? Square Enix must have loved his voice. Lmao.
My Theory:
Braig is similar to Terra Xehonart (no memories, lives innocent life), his heart is inside Kingdom Hearts or connected to it somehow.
Xigbar survives KH3
That ladies and gentlemen, is my theory.
09:58 he said it
I really dig how in the final scene with the MoM and luxu the music became all creepy and distorted. Basically saying that those two were indeed the villains
"You, huge collection of white people, will save everything!"
Also, I love how much of a troll the Master of Masters is.
