I've been a Protestant Christian for most of my life, but there's something about Orthodoxy that's so genuine and pure that I can't help but want to be a part of it. Christ is Lord!
I’m an Orthodox Christian who returned home after exploring Protestantism for a decade. I understand what you’re taking about! Come and experience it brother 🙏🏼
@@SAHOVNICU the Orthodox stance is that while we deal with the consequence of original sin, we don't carry the guilt of original sin, only Adam and Eve do... it's not our sin, we believe that baptism washes away our sins.
Brother/sister if your Church/Cathedral teaches anything that is NOT Biblical never trust it. They may not do it with content but deny all that isn’t Biblical. 1. Mary never asked to be prayed to AT ALL, neither did she say that she was an interceder. She is a human and cannot hear prayers, only God should be praised. No where in scripture does it say that Mary will pray for you that idea is man made. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5) 2. We are not to make any graven images and DEFINITELY NOT bow down to them. “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;” (Exodus 20:4-5) “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8) 3. We are not to call any teacher father except for our Father in heaven, it is prohibited in the scriptures. “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” (Matthew 23:9) 4. The rosary is not Biblical at all 5. We are not saved by works! “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Open your eyes and get out of tradition. Anything that is not Biblical is false, as well as even many of the so called “Christian” holidays celebrated today, they have pagan origin. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Repent and FULLY turn away from your sins Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Become filled with the Holy Spirit Pick up your cross and deny yourself DAILY “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23) (Our flesh is evil and we should walk in the spirit always) “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Know that we will stand before a Holy God and that this life is not all that there is (True life begins when we die, that is ETERNITY) Know that there is such a thing as hell and that [if you continue in your DELIBERATE sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there will no longer be ANY sacrifice that will cover your sins] (I have testimonies for you on my public playlist to watch, feel free💖🙏🏽)
this is what protestant was panic for. We never pray to mary as a God and Mary is as always the mother of church since the beginning of church was born, so her status is always special. The rosary is only a tools for pray, as in the beginning of the church uses many tools for pray. Go to church every sunday, not sabbath. Be united with the true church from the beginning, not church who worship Money @@JesusSave7
@@JesusSave7Respectfully. The Bible doesn't teach that everything has to be in the Bible. The Bible teaches to hold to the Traditions of the Apostles, written or oral and that the Church is the Piller and ground of truth.
Same here. Having said that, I know many Catholics who have found everything they need, spiritually, in Roman Catholic Church, and they should STAY with their church if it works for them and their families. I'm not about running down other churches or denominations. I just felt like my eyes opened up and felt Orthodox 'fit' me perfectly, was very energized and inspired. Same can be said for those going to Catholicism. I won't condemn any Christians as just having a foot in the faith, even in a very heretical, 'whacky' type, is still a step in the right direction, a beginning, look at the alternative. But... just get someone into an Orthodox Church and if they are inclined, something will overcome them and they'll feel something that was missing, something very amazing.
@@righteousrebellion90 “How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law(Torah) of the LORD is with us’? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. “ (Revised Standard Version, Jeremiah 8:8 ) Does this passage refute the claim made by Christian missionaries that the Bible is uncorrupted and unchanged? Could you elaborate on the real meaning of this verse from an objective scholarly perspective?
Thank you for this video. I have felt the pull toward Orthodoxy. I have been dismayed and depressed in the Protestant church as it slides further and further into Calvinism.
This is beautiful. One huge thing I get from protestantism, with the exception exception of Mennonites in most cases, is accountability. Orthodoxy has a strong sense of accountability, I notice in America, accountability on living a biblical life and being involved in the church isn’t very strong. You can always move to the next church if you want to avoid the accountability of immoral behavior from fellow layman, or it will just be dismissed. Most Orthodox church leaders are very frugal and modest, and as a bishop, celibacy is required and other very modest and frugal practices. That being said, there are many great protestant churches in America, and I owe my life to a protestant organization that volunteered to help Muslims and Christians in Iraq, doctors, military veterans risking their life to help those in need when no one else would. And still do, that same church still has volunteers who help rescue and provide various aid in Iraq and Syria. Protestants organizations from America I know as well are leading the fight against trafficking of minors in the middle east and around the world.
My discovery of Orthodoxy was exactly the same. Looking for the original church after searching so long. I'm a catechumen in the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. So many of us are coming home to the true church! Glory to God in the highest!
Yes my sister you choose the right journy. It is not you who force you to look for the truth, but it is the spirit of God which force you to look for where the truth is. I believe that you are on the right track. I am my self orthodox Christian from Ethiopia. We Ethiopian believe that orthodox christianity is the origion which follow the truth and the right teaching methodology (the right way of believing God). We Ethiopians believe We received the truth from one of 12 Jesus christos’s diciples called Philip who baptized eunuch of Ethiopians who went to Jerusalem, Israel to worship. Ethiopians used to travel to Israel for worshiping God. Se in bible Acts chapter 8, verses 26 - 36. Not only after christ, but also before christ (b.c) Ethiopians used to travel Israel for worship according to bible « Matthew chapter 12, verse 42 which jesus talked about the queen of south ( whom is Ethiopians queen, her name was queen Azeb or queen Sheba). Queen of Sheba travelled to visit Solomon, a person of God. Read bible at 1 kings chapter 10 verse 1 - 13 or read the whole chapter. More over two of the so called, magi who went to jesus durin his birth in Bethelhem were Ethiopians, I strong recommend you to visit Ethiopian Orthodox church where you live may be. Most importantly in Ethiopia to visit Churchs. For sure you will be impressed of it. For example ‘Lalibella church’ which registered by unsco.
There are many young converts to Orthodoxy at our church in Euless, Texas. I converted when I was twenty two and I am fifty five now. I had an Irish mother and was raised Roman Catholic. My father was 100% Greek and I was exposed to Orthodoxy through him. Welcome home!
I am three months into my return to Orthodoxy. It was hard leaving our old church but we have. We did it as gracefully as we could. When I left the Orthodox Church as a younger man I didn’t know what I was leaving. I am glad to have returned.
@@HannahMitchell-Art I think it’s the historic church. I just got back into communion again about three months ago. Some other things, I like the prayers of the Saints, the Jesus Prayer, and the sacred tradition.

@@van2165what can we say? 🤷🏻♂️ everyone is different. Just “come and see”’as we say. It definitely is the true and original church the continuation of the early church. I’m a retired Pentecostal pastor and now orthodox. I’ve been in all faiths and denominations in my life even Catholic and nothing holds a candle 🕯️ to this (no pun intended). There’s tons of books 📚 you can read and videos here on YT u can watch about it too. I’ve done research on it for 10 years and tried to find holes I read everything I could on it. There’s no faith like it. But one thing you do have to learn and understand about this faith is, it’s very very different and you will have to develop the eastern mindset or Phronomia. THAT is the hardest part and takes a LONG time. The other key is, it’s unlike any other faith, in that you can’t live it in your mind it’s not a scholastic/academic type of faith (tho we have all that too) but it’s supposed to be lived out in lifestyle and praxis and that’s where you fully learn it and understand it. Which makes it all the more powerful and beautiful!!
I never heard of orthodoxy until a couple months ago. I just attended an Orthodox Church yesterday for the first time and it was unlike any other church I’ve been to. The people, the service, everything. I’ve just been praying for the truth and I think I found it
Eastern "orthodoxy" is a false schismatic religion. Calling it "home" is confusion of religions and sinful. Only the Catholic Church can be truly called home.
My sister, I just came home from Liturgy (Saint Barbara Orthodox Church) and found your video. You brought me to tears...I'm so thankful to Christ our God for leading you and your husband to the fullness of the faith in the Orthodox Church! Thank you for this heartfelt video. Glory to God for all things.
I decided to delete my previous comment (due to the high jacking and pointless arguments that had occurred). My initial comment was meant to pastorally encourage you. As an Orthodox priest I felt it best to prevent any further distractions from the truth of the faith of Orthodoxy. There will be those who will disagree, or look to argue against our faith and to slander it and, those who proclaim it. Persevere in Christ dear one and may God bless! -Father Mikhail
@ Coco Beans, i was like you years ago and i became an Orthodox Christian. Keep seeking, read and research the differences between roman catholicism and Orthodox Christianity including the original Niceo-Constantinopolitan Creed, the ancient Julian and ORIGINAL Church Calendar, Fasting, Monasticism, the consensus of ALL the Church Fathers not just 1 jurisdiction, the original worship of the ancient church which did not have organs nor pews, and how Communion is supposed to be with BOTH the blood and flesh of Our Lord (wine and bread). There are many books on these subjects. It took me years to convert so i did it with knowledge. I was not going to do it without first knowing what i was leaving. And i left roman catholicism.
This was great. I was Mr Big Brain, give me all the details guy, always leaving churches. Then I went to my first liturgy and it cut right through all of that. In that moment, like you said, nobody had to explain anything. No one had to explain icons or anything, it just clicked immediately. Glad to have you aboard.
What a great way you are travelling, I have watched you for a while and I am happy for you that you found the true church. Glory to God. Greetings from Iceland.

Hello, sister. I am very happy to hear about your conversion. Coming from a family of Ethiopian/Eritrean orthodox religion, I myself am proud to be an orthodox, I have lack of words to how great and amazing my religion is, it is the only state of life that I find peace and grace every second of my life. I am much grateful to be an orthodox Christian and for being introduced to it at such a young age. I am a teenager now and hope to continue truly worshiping god for the rest of my life and staying on the path my family has showed me. Please pray for us sister. May god bless you and your family. One thing I would love to say to you is please go to orthodox churches in Eritrea, Ethiopian, Egypt, Rome, Jerusalem anywhere around the world. You will be able to learn a lot form the Priests and others that are there. I myself dream and wish to do the same. Please take my words and gain a good understanding of historical righteous believers that have supported us with their prayers and grace until this day. Pray for me and my family to do the same it is my wish and dream to grow more and have a strong belief in my religion. May god bless you.🙏🙏
@@compassion-t9y greetings to you my beloved fellow, I hope you don’t mind me asking but what language do you speak? Reading even one of these a day is a great practice, and eventually over the other ones could be included. I would say that asking an orthodox Christianity church advisors in your area might be able to help better than I can, but I hope you can find at least one of these listed bibles in your preferred language.🙏
Yaaaay!😀 I would suggest few things for converts: don't be drawn to Orthodoxy for beauty of the service, nice songs of pretty icons not because of theological discussions you find online. Learn about all of it and why is it there. But also be sure to notice flaws of our different comunities. This is so you don't be dissapointed by us, imperfect people and reject the Faith who is perfect. P.S. Paschal service is my favourite . It just has something very special every time. God bless😊
I hear what you’re saying but your “advice” is not good. I believe St. Cyril of Jerusalem says the exact opposite. He doesn’t care for the reasons you’re drawn to Orthodoxy, as long as you’re there. God, when the individual is ready will enlighten them further.

I think it's more like: Don't be drawn to Orthodoxy because you're following other people. People are sinners. People make mistakes & sometimes they will disappoint or upset you. I've seen cases where some people got interested in Orthodoxy because of their boyfriend/girlfriend or just tailing their close friends. They'd be very enthusiastic & would ask things to the priests, deacons, or laymen. Once they broke up with their Orthodox boyfriend/girlfriend, they stopped coming to the church. Once they had a falling out with their Orthodox close friends, they stopped coming to the church.

My fathers side of the family is Jewish and my mothers is Roman Catholic and I spent 20 years searching for the true faith and God lead me to the doorstep of an Orthodox Church after such an exhaustive search! Your journey is some ways is very similar summary of my life quest to finding the true faith. I feel like you summarised it very well which is Something that I struggle to do. GLORY TO GOD for your testimony and that God guided you back home knowing your never ending yearn to find the truth. God sees the sincerity in our hearts. I remember balling my Eyes out non stop when I experienced my first liturgy. You described it so perfectly at your first pascha service. My heart knew just as yours did. We were finally home! I’ve been an Orthodox Christian since 2017 baptised in the Antiochian Orthodox Church and I’ve never looked back. My fiancé comes from a seventh day Adventist upbringing and family (her family are still practicing SDA) and she even practiced Islam for 3 years has now found the truth in the Orthodox faith, has been a catechumen for the last year and is now getting baptised into the Orthodox Church on holy Saturday April 15 this year! Glory to God in the highest for these miracles
Your testimony is very similar to mine. I was heavily into new age, not a Witch but I may have been heading that way and was researching and exploring it. Eventually I prayed to God for the Truth. The One Truth, as there's a tiny bit of truth in all of the religions, which is why I was so confused. Just like you I traced the church back and found Holy Orthodoxy.
Glory to God! What a great testimony sister (oh and I'm with you on finding it hard to focus with our kids tagging along, but it does get easier as they come more often and get accustomed to it). Your message is very inspiring and humble and may God bless you and your family 🙏✝️
I’ve been thinking about Orthodoxy lately and I believe your video was confirmation that I need to take Orthodoxy more seriously because everything you felt about the other churches is how I feel. I feel as if I am missing something.
You can always go to an Orthodox church and just listen. It is a long process about a year before you actually get baptized after you tell the priest that you want to be baptized, you then become a catechumen and take classes learning all about church history and correct teaching before baptism. So the best thing to do is just drop in and have a listen a few times and see for yourself, truly see, don't make any quick decisions, truly see. God bless you. 🙏

For most of my life I was a member of various Protestant churches, including Southern Baptist. I never really felt any close relationship to God in all that time, and was disappointed in the informality and the fact that just about anyone could walk in and take holy communion. I joined the Coptic Orthodox Church three years ago because of its antiquity, its adherence to early church teachings and its deep connection to the Apostles. I'm now a deacon in the church, and I praise God for leading me to this church.

I have searched and searched my whole adult life for the truth. I married a Catholic , we are not practicing Catholics anymore but even there I knew the teachings were not complete. I knew there had to be something more. I only wish I had found Orthodoxy sooner. Although all things happen when they are supposed to.
How wonderful. I found to the Orthodox Church 29 years ago. In 1994, 5 years after visiting Ukraine and Russia in February 1989, I was thinking 'what do they believe by the way?'. First I read and then I went to a church and after the Epiklesis I got a very warm feeling that lasted a week. So I thought: 'if I feel like THAT in a church I should go there more often'.
My story is almost exactly the same as yours. Only I was 52 when I walked into an Orthodox church, so my kids were grown. I had done the same research as you into the early church, and I had the same exact experience...tears, the overwhelming presence of love, and I just KNEW that finally I had found God after an intense 40 year search for Truth. Thanks RR, when I hear testimonies of conversion to Orthodoxy I am struck how many others arrived in a similar manner, including myself. This is truly the very same Church that Jesus declared the “gates of hell will not prevail against it”. Doctrinally it is the same message as what the Apostles were sent forth to teach.
Indeed. So many churches teach quite central conflicting doctrines, all based on their groups interpretation of scripture. Happy to see you've come to a very good point in your life.

That is so beautiful! I found the church for my husband and I too. I was praying for and the Holy Spirit led us to a nondenominational church. We love it! The first day I went I wasn't sure about it but my husband loved it. We only found out after going that my best friend's fiancé attended that church. Then later I found out that sister had visit that church and asked us to go, but we never got the chance. Just 3 weeks after going, my husband found that his mom's realtor went there and he was part of the basketball club at that church. My husband loves basketball and is a basketball coach. The list goes on. I honestly, believe there isn't a true domination, because people are led to different denominations all time even those who speak directly to God. God leads us to what is best for us to know Him better. Different strokes for different folks. 😊
I was led to many denominations before I found came into this church, sometimes God leads us to places not because it's our final destination but because it has something to teach us that we need to learn for the season we are in in our lives. God doesn't teach everything and show all his treasures all at once. He shows it as He wills according to His own time and for other reasons beyond my understanding. God bless you.
3:09 That happens a lot. Look at America's history. Since colonial times, North America was protestant. From the Dutch to the English. Only in the late 19th-century Orthodox Christians immigrants from Eastern Europe and the Middle East came to the US. My dear sister in the Lord, my heart is so moved and my eyes are in tears. You have perfectly explained my journey as well. It is truly sublime. It is the Lord Jesus Christ at work in and through His people. Like you I tried so hard in so many different churches to meet frustration. Here the burden is easy and I long for it. I too found other churches did not have the firm foundation. This is the true church of Jesus Christ to the glory of God. May your journey be ever closer to Jesus Christ for your whole family. I am praying and covet your prayers for my husband to fall in love with it.
I'm so glad I watched this video. You put into words exactly how I felt when I went to Divine Liturgy. I felt overwhelmed with love and peace, I felt like I was finally home. Thank you!
This was amazing. Truly. I went on a service call for carpentry around a year ago. I was raised roman catholic. Layer an apathetic agnostic. Something happened that day. I'm not sure what it was but my wife and have been chrismated and haven't missed a single liturgy. I still can't wrap my head around what happened other than i felt that i was home. We are proud members of Acrod. We are both truly blessed and are soooooo happy to have been blessed with our Cathedral. Thank you for this video. Much love to you.
Glory to God! So nice and refreshing to meet another fellow Orthodox Sister! ☦️ I have only been in the Faith for about half a year now (in 2 days Dec 16) and it has been such a blessing and a honor to have so many wonderful brothers and Sisters in Christ around me! I was born and raised cradle Roman Catholic and the women in Church did not wear a headcovering, and when I told them that the Lord had placed upon my heart to veil I got frowned on! That led me to be insecure about it, but want to be a woman of God and do HIS will! Thank You my Sister for being an inspiration! May I ask you which is your patron Saint?
Loved your testimony! In Orthodoxy you just have to go and experience it to have an understanding. I started taking inquirer classes a few weeks ago and I'm leaving Mormonism for Orthodoxy. Christ is risen!
Your video is so very helpful to me! Thank you so much. I am sending you all of the love that I have in my heart from Cherokee Village Arkansas. Thank you for praying for me. I subscribed and now i am going to watch the rest of your videos.
When everyone had abandoned me- I reached out to God✨, and He was there❗He saved my stillborn Grandchild at the very last moment and He is leading me towards the Greek Orthodox church. My little Grandson will be christened there early next year. God bless you and yor family. 🙌✨
First 5 min... word for word same here, except the head scarf 😉 Thank you for this video, it compels me to do my own, maybe when I'm not so 'superficial', truly a journey of life, the Way to the Truth of Life. I'm sorry Protestant brethren but we as Christians need a history lesson desperately. Papal authority has left us desolate, Rome is not the Orthodox way, never was, we never needed a 'Reformation', the Orthodox Church is the true body of Christ.
I'm so happy that you've found a way to deepen your faith and come closer to Jesus Christ in the Orthodox church! If you want more of that fullness you mentioned and want to know without a shadow of a doubt as you put it, look more into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! Even if you have before, you'll experience an even higher degree of what you've talked about here! The fullness of the gospel is here waiting for you and your husband!
With my whole humility and love I'm telling you - mormonism is a teaching of demons! Orthodoxy is not about reaching high dopamine levels. Orthodoxy is about Repentance! To clear up the deadly passions from our souls with God's help. Orthodox means "the right faith" - the proper way of beleaving. The Holy Orthodox Church teaches how to live properly the christian life. Only by proper teaching you can build up the proper Saving Faith you need. You need to get out of mormonism, repent and come to the Truth. The Holy Orthodox Church keeps the ancient christian faith as it was 2000 years ago unchanged. Christianity is about Love and Orthodoxy is the REAL Christianity.
One of the reasons you joined the Orthodox Church for the beauty in Modesty/Headcovering, is so beautiful, especially for todays culture. Praise God. God Bless you from Cairo, Egypt 😁
I think she means the Eastern Orthodoxy but not the Oriental Orthodoxy. These Churces are diffrent, and Eastern Orthodox Church isn't in the Eucharistic Community with the Oriental Orthodox Church, and also we have diffrent beliefs.
With the kindest regards. She joined the Orthodox Church, not the Oriental “Orthodox” church. A lot of people, typically Orientals get confused because of the term “Orthodox” Coptics, Ethiopians, Armenians and Syriacs are not in the Eastern Orthodox Church, also known as the Orthodox Church or Orthodox Catholic Church. ✌️
@@mariorizkallah5383 With Kindest regards, she joined the "Eastern Orthodox Church" and not the Orthodox Church as you think. Eastern Orthodox Christians are not only entitled to the label of Orthodoxy. You are an 'Eastern' Orthodox Christian just like we are 'Oriental' Orthodox Christians. If you think that your Church is the only Orthodox Church, then you are mistaken. The ideas of Orthodoxy are claimed by several apostolic churches today.
I've been a Protestant Christian for most of my life, but there's something about Orthodoxy that's so genuine and pure that I can't help but want to be a part of it. Christ is Lord!
God bless you.
I’m an Orthodox Christian who returned home after exploring Protestantism for a decade. I understand what you’re taking about! Come and experience it brother 🙏🏼

Does the Orthodox Church believe that Original sin must be washed away with the laver of regeneration? (baptism)
@@SAHOVNICU the Orthodox stance is that while we deal with the consequence of original sin, we don't carry the guilt of original sin, only Adam and Eve do... it's not our sin, we believe that baptism washes away our sins.
I was Roman Catholic at first, but after a few visits to an Orthodox community, I realized that this was exactly what I was looking for and missing.
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5)
2. We are not to make any graven images and DEFINITELY NOT bow down to them. “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;” (Exodus 20:4-5)
“I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8)
3. We are not to call any teacher father except for our Father in heaven, it is prohibited in the scriptures. “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” (Matthew 23:9)
4. The rosary is not Biblical at all
5. We are not saved by works! “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Open your eyes and get out of tradition. Anything that is not Biblical is false, as well as even many of the so called “Christian” holidays celebrated today, they have pagan origin.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Repent and FULLY turn away from your sins
Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Become filled with the Holy Spirit
Pick up your cross and deny yourself DAILY
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
(Our flesh is evil and we should walk in the spirit always) “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
Know that we will stand before a Holy God and that this life is not all that there is (True life begins when we die, that is ETERNITY)
Know that there is such a thing as hell and that [if you continue in your DELIBERATE sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there will no longer be ANY sacrifice that will cover your sins]
(I have testimonies for you on my public playlist to watch, feel free💖🙏🏽)

this is what protestant was panic for. We never pray to mary as a God and Mary is as always the mother of church since the beginning of church was born, so her status is always special. The rosary is only a tools for pray, as in the beginning of the church uses many tools for pray. Go to church every sunday, not sabbath.
I would love to hear your husband’s testimony. My wife and I are on our journey from Protestantism to Orthodoxy as well, please pray for us.

Does this passage refute the claim made by Christian missionaries that the Bible is uncorrupted and unchanged?
Wow! Congratulations! And glory to God!

I would suggest few things for converts: don't be drawn to Orthodoxy for beauty of the service, nice songs of pretty icons not because of theological discussions you find online. Learn about all of it and why is it there. But also be sure to notice flaws of our different comunities. This is so you don't be dissapointed by us, imperfect people and reject the Faith who is perfect.
P.S. Paschal service is my favourite . It just has something very special every time.

Glory to God! What a great testimony sister (oh and I'm with you on finding it hard to focus with our kids tagging along, but it does get easier as they come more often and get accustomed to it).
The Orthodox way of life is truly transformative, with the goal of drawing us ever nearer to Christ with every passing day. Praying He continues to bless you and your family on your journey towards His Kingdom! ☦️
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have Mercy on us,
Welcome my sister, you did bring a joyful, and sad tear to my eyes, joyful for your journey on the narrow road and the straight gate, and non Orthodox, that haven't come to the True Church yet.I am a Cradle and a Converted Orthodox Christian, born into the church, all we knew, was put your stiff collar, shut up, do your prayer, kneel, doing a hymm. Until i was actually grabbed by God and saved from drowning in a cave. I called on him and he saved me, hence my converted attitude to Christ, Father, and the Holy Spirit. Your message is very inspiring and humble and may God bless you and your family 🙏✝️
Welcome to the Church of Christ, sister! May God bless you in your journey for it has only started. ☦️
@@righteousrebellion90 thank you, I will do just that.

Oh my goodness. You said almost everything I have been thinking about, especially desperately wanting the truth and something stable to stand on. No compromises, just Christ. I believe Orthodoxy is the way. I’ve started to discover the Church myself. First Vespers two weeks. Bless you, sweet lady.

I'm so happy for you that you found the true way of God !!🙏🙏🙏 I'm Ethiopian orthodox 💚💛❤
Glory to God. Happy for you sister Joelle.
I Got Saved Protestant, Now I Identify As Orthodox. I didn't leave The Protestant Church. The Protestant Church left me. I'm Grateful That I Am In The Orthodox Church. The Protestant Church is an apostate system full of people who are about to be spit Out Of God's Mouth, Revelation Chapter Three
The Coptic Church is not Orthodox. Come home to the Eastern Orthodox Church. God bless you.

My first day at Orthodox Church, I was brought to tears as well. Your testimony is very relatable. God bless sister. ☦️❤️
Thank you sharing your experience with us. I just found the Orthodox Church. I have no idea why it took me so long. I will be 58 in a couple of weeks.
Now much like you, I just hope and pray that all of our brothers and sisters come home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story.
I had the same feeling when I went to my first Orthodox service last year . You brought me right back to that day . Lord have mercy .
Wonderful video
Her story has touched my soul

I am convinced it is the true faith
I also feel unworthy but if God wills I will accept this great and awesome gift, the Church. May our Holy Lord give you and us strength!

I loved the Anglican Faith when my wife and I were part of it but we kept on journeying and came to Holy Orthodoxy many years ago. We have never regretted finding Orthodoxy and I pray that you my friend, like this sister, continue your journey on to the original ancient Orthodox, catholic and apostolic Church. Christ God be with you.

I am so happy I found your channel! I am cradle orthodox, who was protestant for a while, and then got back HOme to Orthodoxy. I have very similar experience! So happy for you! Glory to God!
Thank you for your love and kindness to share to others this testimony of yours. It is so warm and honestly! Everything what you said is truth, only truth and nothing but a truth! I confirm everything what you said! Best regards from orthodox Serbia and Macedonia, southeastern Europe! God be with you and your family!
Welcome home!
Wow, all these testimonies are so heart warming! My husband, children and I were just baptized this April on Lazarus Saturday!
All Glory to the Most High! He is Merciful!

@righteousrebellion90 Welcome home sister (to Orthodoxy) . I'm listening to your testimony and I get goosebumps 3 times. God bless you and your family. Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸
@@righteousrebellion90 Amen! God bless you too. 😊
3:09 That happens a lot. Look at America's history. Since colonial times, North America was protestant. From the Dutch to the English. Only in the late 19th-century Orthodox Christians immigrants from Eastern Europe and the Middle East came to the US. It's so sad to see that unless you have Eastern European friends, as a Christian American there's a 90% chance you don't even know Orthodox Christianity exists.
The more I look that the Orthodox Church the more I feel that Protestantism is that run away child, looking for the path when it already was laid out for you by the original church. All these questions I had, only to find out they have already been answered by the Orthodox priest and saints.
Amen 🙏 my story is so so similar to yours. God heard my prayers and has led me to Orthodoxy. I’m not yet a catechumen either but soon… ❤I’m breaking my ties with Catholicism now….
Loved it, thank you. When you hear the gospel according to the Orthodox Church the truth rings so loudly you can't help but be drawn in.

This was amazing. Truly. I went on a service call for carpentry around a year ago. I was raised roman catholic. Layer an apathetic agnostic. Something happened that day. I'm not sure what it was but my wife and have been chrismated and haven't missed a single liturgy.

I can relate to the Paschal service. I was in immersed in this out of the world experience. The joy was immeasurable and thought this is home.
Loved your testimony! In Orthodoxy you just have to go and experience it to have an understanding. I started taking inquirer classes a few weeks ago and I'm leaving Mormonism for Orthodoxy. Christ is risen!

Amen!
Glory to God!
