I was saying that a few weeks ago that non korean citizens members of New Jeans will have tough time to renew their e visa as Ador is their guarantor. She has to go back home or continue to work underAdor ...its simple.
I could imagine that immigration may require Hanni to provide clearance from her agency before she can convert her visa into something else. Or Ador may have their legal reps to notify immigration about it. It may not be that easy to convert.
Sorry to say this, but as a lawyer, I don’t think you’re actually correct. Based on the information available, it doesn’t seem possible for someone on an entertainment visa in South Korea to directly switch to an investment visa while continuing to work as an entertainer. 1. Entertainment Visa (E-6): This visa is specifically for foreign nationals engaged in entertainment-related activities, such as acting, modeling, or performing. The holder is only authorized to work within the entertainment industry. 2. Investment Visa (D-8): This visa is for foreign nationals making a significant investment in Korea. The focus is on running/managing an investment venture, not entertainment work. 3. Incompatible Scopes: The scope of work permitted under the entertainment (E-6) and investment (D-8) visas are quite different. Switching between them while maintaining the same type of employment would likely not be allowed. 4. Need to Change Employment: To switch from an entertainment visa to an investment visa, the person would likely need to cease their entertainment-related work and focus on establishing and managing the investment business in Korea. 5. Separate Application Process: Obtaining an investment visa would require a separate application process and meeting the specific requirements for that visa category, which are distinct from the entertainment visa. So in summary, and I may well be wrong - other lawyers please do chime in - but I think legally it doesn’t seem possible to switch directly from an entertainment visa to an investment visa while continuing to work as an entertainer in South Korea. She would likely need to terminate her entertainment work and focus entirely on the investment business to qualify for the D-8 visa. I can’t see how or why this would be an option for her? 🙏🏽
yup I also had the same thought as you. regarding being able to freely do economic activities on a D-8 Visa is an investment business activity, not an activity working in entertainment because each Visa has its own limits and uses. Isn't it a violation if someone with a D-8 Visa then works as an artist...?
Perhaps a way for her to bypass the validity of her contract with respect to her Visa requirements would be to invest or marry. But I think she's bratty enough to feel entitled to Ador renewing her Visa and not seeing it as a conflict with her declaring a termination of her contract. These girls live in a different reality. I don't know if the immigrations office would reject her renewal request due to her publicly disputing her contract with the sponsor, but I honestly don't really care whether she stays or she goes.
That IISPB which allows economic activities, I wonder if "economic activities" also include "entertainment activities" which requires an artist/performer to be attached to a LABEL / AGENCY. I mean, if Hanni opts for IISPB just to get a resident permit, probably she can only works as an NJ's manager? 🤔 bc she cannot open another LABEL/artist management agency since the validity of her excl contract with ADOR is still pending in Court, right?
I have a suspicion that they had arrange things for her before the whole drama. She hasnt said anything because its more like admitting to tampering or because she is counting on ADOR and then lying about it.
Do you have no shame . Stanning an asian group and being racist towards an asian woman , sounding exactly like trump supporters . I guess the '' stop asian hate '' compaign that bts did was for nothing clearly not even their fans listened.

@Sana63688 She is deserving of the feelings people have toward her, she's well aware of the groomers crimes yet the girls still support her, bad character, is what the girls have. As a Trump supporter I honestly don't care what you think of me but a country without borders is not a country.
I wonder if she still has enough money. From living on the hill and other high-end costs of living... to the attorney costs & publicity form costs, etc.
Ador need to stop paying her, and paying for anything for these women…they need to foot the bill themselves for everything, like housing, transportation, food, security, manager, stylists, etc…

I'm sorry i hv wrong info before. There are several types of visas, Hanni's visa is E-6 visa , E-6 visa in South Korea is designed for individuals who wish to engage in cultural, artistic, or entertainment activities for profit. must have a company sponsor, her parents went to South Korea not to work but to visit (visit their daughter), it is possible their visa type is C-3 with an expiration period of 90 days, it can be extended by returning to their country first, taking care of the visa again at immigration, then after the visa is approved, they can return to SK. Additionally, she may need an **employment recommendation** from the relevant government agency, depending on your field of activity. The E-6 visa covers various fields such as music, art, literature, sports, entertainment, advertisements, and fashion modeling
Can't they just let hanni have her passport?? She's beautiful 😍😳❤️, plss let her be , this evil company ador and hybe wont let my beautiful hami pam be free 😢
Who these girls is not the problem what how they’re doing it is. Blatantly ignoring laws and contracts. After spending years with the company that is invested in them is just wrong. There are better ways to handle these situations and these girls are not using good logic.
I don’t understand what you are saying. Being beautiful means she doesn’t have to follow the same laws/rules as everyone else? Isn’t accountable for anything? I hope this all gets resolved but the laws/rules should be followed. Evil company? Seriously. 👀

If as she says the contract is invalid then she has no visa and is in Korea illegally. She can be deported immediately
And also need to pay the fine for overstaying
I wonder if she still has enough money. From living on the hill and other high-end costs of living... to the attorney costs & publicity form costs, etc.
She paid 5.2 billion won this year.
ADOR is still paying for the dorm & all activities.
This is why we've heard rumors of NJ's family forming their own entertainment company.
she is still technically employed by Ador. So I am not really sure what other options she has. Enlighten me with this issue.

This is definitely what I think most people would wish for. But. ADOR is going through the process correctly and legitimately.
Prime example of FAAFO
Ador should keep her under contract & make her work remote in Vietnam.
She is from Australia
What about her parents who traveled there because she was a minor, are they also illegal?

Could be that they have visas as family members, not sure how it’s done in SK

Go do your homework kiddo
She must respect the laws of the country she's living. She can kill ten people and go unpunished because of her pretty face?
that's not how things are properly done kiddo
