I think its jealousy towards BANG and BTS why they gets so much hates from certain groups of people. BTS and BANG comes from way behind and passed them on their way up that where the hate coming from.
The success of HYBE could not have been accomplished without the vision of Bang PD, the talent of BTS members and the hard work of the BTS members, BigHit staff and BTS ARMY. Take out any of these factors and there would be no HYBE and K-pop would have stayed its own niche market.

You don't realize that BTS and BSH are one team. And I could also add the staff that accompanied them since before their debut.
They would not have been as successful without each other. Not sure another manager would have trusted allowed such creativity as he did with BTS. They also felt confident in his support. If they hadn't believed in him; they would have left. Also it was a stroke of luck that the seven members would be exactly what KPop and Korea needed. Kudos to them all. In that same timeframe Korean Englishman introduced Korean food and culture to the world. I think the time was just right to explore and embrace what Korea has to offer.
No matter what people say about Mr. Bang but I will always respect him for believing in BTS and giving them the support to continue their journey when things were not good.

Honestly i think that Bang PD just wanted to have a successful company, along with the staff and BTS and because they was struggling so much with bankruptcy and the road blocks from the industry. They was honestly fighting with all their might to just succeed. Bang PD and BTS and the staff was literally doing endless hours of everything they could do to make it. It all paid off. Hate him or love him. He was the man with a dream from the start. Thank God he succeeded because he gave us Bangtan and allowed them the freedom to grow and learn and they are the men who we have today. So do i respect him. You d@mn right i do.
How fortunate it is that both he and BTS had the same dream! I think that is one of the things that made (still make) them such a powerful team. He didn't have to force them to keep pushing but rather encourage and support and allowed them to spread their beautiful color throughout the world, I'm so glad to share this magic💜
Yes a huge reason for his success is he’s a team player and gives space for developing his artists talent. That trust was recently abused but he has great success with his vision.
Agree. the chairman gave some people soooo much freedom and they took advantage of it big time. i re-watched k-doc's reuploaded episode on bts and came to that conclusion. with the recent appointments of the 2 female ceos who i believe have been with them for quite some time and largely contributed to what hybe is today, i would like to think mr. bang's learned another big lesson. no matter what antis do, hybe ain't falling. it'll just keep expanding.
Honestly, most of the claims and rumors about him are so trivial. Like, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, the rumors are just so petty it almost feels like they're just trying to ruin him because some people are too jealous of what HYBE has become lol Sure, he can still do a lot better in improving some things and aspects of the idol training system, pricing of merch or protection of idol's privacy but at least HYBE is not involved in scandals of not paying their artists or staff well, not taking care of their artists health and well-being, limiting artists opportunities etc. For me, those are the ultimate deal breaker. In Korea they seem to have at least found a way around scalpers with face recognition technology. They are going to use it at TWS concert and see how it goes. But ticketmaster is in court for many more years before they will be stopped in the practices they are using now. They have the lawyers to delay for many more years.

Mr. Bang had the belief that BTS would be special. It is that very first support that they got, that helped shape them into who they are today. I respect Bang PD, he is real team player. But the creation of BTS is a bit lucky. He cannot create a group as big as BTS until now. BTS is phenomenon. But whitout BTS, he has good success with TXT, Enhypen, Le sserafim, Illit, Boynextdoor, TWS, &Team. He bought Ithaca Holding then became Hybe America. Hybe America bought QC, etc. But he has problem with Min Hee Jin and Kakao. Kakao CEO arrested by the police because of SM's stock price manipulation that cause Hybe failed as majority SM shareholder. Mainstream South Korea media hate Hybe. Some politicians also hate Hybe.

The Korean Hallyu wave was already known when BTS debuted, and no doubt there are so many seniors and entertainment companies before them that had reached the K-Pop stardom- but, BTS, Big Hit and Bang PD brings K-Pop to the global stage and make them more known worldwide. K-Pop is more known worldwide after 2017, and that’s because BTS won their first ever BBMAs that no other K-Pop artist had won before and as the first K-Pop group, they performed at the AMAs, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen that makes other K-Pop groups goes on to these shows in later years. Year after year, there are always records they are breaking for being the first K-Pop act to do pretty much anything. BTS got their first number 1 album in the US in 2018, and after that more and more of K-Pop artists charts their album in the top 50 and top 10, and also went number 1. It's clear this person loves music and producing. He is knowledgeable about art and has his own idea of what music is and what its purpose should be. He, like any human being, might not be perfect, and people might not agree with his vision, but we cannot deny his contribution to making K-pop global with BTS. Most importantly, he RESPECTS his artists enough to acknowledge them even in his personal interviews when he could have easily avoided doing so and taken the credit offered to him on a platter. Although this is not directly related to the interview, just compare this to Newjeans "mother." She makes sure to say more than NJ and takes the credit for being a mere producer, not even the producer of their music, but their marketing producer, in interviews originally meant for the group. (I already did not like her from that very first interview.) With BSH, BTS have grown up to be confident, self-respecting artists who do not and have never felt the need to constantly refer to him when accepting awards or receiving praise because he let them that freedom and helped them grow. On the other hand, NJ are idols who think they can't survive without MHJ and constantly feel the need to wear her badge to validate their existence as an idol group. That's how dependent she made them on her. Also, if we look at the humility of BTS and the arrogance of NJ, all these differences give one a perspective of who might be right and who is being manipulative in this whole feud. BSH is an example to follow by genuine people trying to make it big in the industry. Of course that doesn't apply to conspirators and manipulators like MHJ!
I admire Bang PD Nim because he doesn’t take all the credit for BTS’s success. He always talks about them that shows respect for them and they walked side by side toward their success.

Why do people think they have a right to be a manti? How would YOU know what the members want? Exhaustion is part of the business even in the US and everywhere else. Soobin left to recover before the others. They have a holiday for a month now and I do not think they need or want more That is more time than most adults in the US get. In fact I do not think it is good for their mental health to be away too long from their work and their fans. This is more than "just" a 9 to 5 job than anyone can do without passion for it. The members have exactly that. Please stop trying to control their life and their decisions. Are some of their decisions likely wrong? Yes, but they are adults and can make their own. They are young enough to make on occasion stupid ones but that is also necessary for their development as people and only makes them more indepedent as adults.

Do you work the field in entertainment? Do you manage a successfull Idol group? Have you taken a closer look in the last few years on everything K-pop and how it works in SK? If you paied attention you would know that Soobin is an introvert and insecure - exsepcially because of the pressure of being the leader but also not to let MOA down. When the rest of the members were celebrating their first Lolla appearence SooBin was feeling badly and scared. The man is insecure of how good he really is. That is not on BH or HYBE - but possibly on his family - I remember him saying he was only allowed to audition because his parents believed he would fail. He was also anxious about debuting believing he was not ready when he was. You do realize they are human, right? That means they can be overwhelmed and make misstakes. It means they can accidently forget to thank the company. I remember once at an award sppeech RM of BTS - one of the best speakers - naming continents fans live on to thank them: he named one continetn twice and forgot Europe. Because he is human not a character in a book. These are real people. Please stop forgetting this. They are not video game character, or characters of a TV show etc. - they are real people and their life is stressfull. They can be random and there can be stuff you do not know about them. There will be times when it is hard, when stuff does not seem to be working, when everything is too much - but that is not necessary the label it can just as much be the beloved fans they don't want to let down and they think they are not worthy of the admiration of their fans. Since I mentioned RM - he quiet literary went off road after dropping Indigo because everything had become too much, too much pressure to be RM of BTS, their leader and the representitive of SK. He locked out the other members that he is close to and went with another newer friend because at that point the members of BTS were part of the problem. But now he speaks about how he can not wait to be back with them again. That is also true for TXT. Human are random, make misstakes, are insecure and exhausted mentally by good things as much as bad things. In this case they also did not expect two awards (one probably) and were discovering what it meant to be without a leader/what the job of a leader entails.
Without bang pd BTS would not be the BTS we love today. They all got to where they’re at because of each other and during that time made a very strong dedicated fandom that would protect them at all costs (tho sometimes it’s a bit much for many situations).
Looking good and I agree about the mutual RESPECT of cultures being important in music. Too often, the essence of one culture is disregarded for fast cash/profit. Long term success can only come from respect and community.

Agree. the chairman gave some people soooo much freedom and they took advantage of it big time. i re-watched k-doc's reuploaded episode on bts and came to that conclusion. with the recent appointments of the 2 female ceos who i believe have been with them for quite some time and largely contributed to what hybe is today, i would like to think mr. bang's learned another big lesson. no matter what antis do, hybe ain't falling. it'll just keep expanding.

Honestly, most of the claims and rumors about him are so trivial. Like, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, the rumors are just so petty it almost feels like they're just trying to ruin him because some people are too jealous of what HYBE has become lol
Sure, he can still do a lot better in improving some things and aspects of the idol training system, pricing of merch or protection of idol's privacy but at least HYBE is not involved in scandals of not paying their artists or staff well, not taking care of their artists health and well-being, limiting artists opportunities etc. For me, those are the ultimate deal breaker.

Well this wasn’t about the legal issues going on with hybe and MHJ or ador and newjeans. Why would he need to talk about things that he has no answers to legally? Nothing has been settled in any way to talk about. And there’s enough BS going around to twist, he’s doing it the right way. Bang PD is a graduate of SNU with Bachelor's Degree in Aesthetics and Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in business administration. He believes in higher education and pushed BTS to complete their college education. What he accomplished in the short period of time for BTS and eventually the sub-labels and Hybe is unmatched. He built an empire from nothing to a Conglomerate that is respected worldwide. He pushes his idols to write and produce their own songs which will help them move from being idols to full pledge songwriters and producers if they decide to do so. He encourages his idols to take hiatus despite their level of popularity. He established an in-house medical clinic to support the idols. He doesn't charge idols for being trainees! The only one who does this in the entire Kmusic industry. Therefore the artists aren't buried in debts after debuting. Bang is a careful visionary who accepted his early failures and didn't give-up. Bang and BTS have created an impossible path for Hybe as a whole, but they both trudged it with determination, dignity, pride, honor, self-respect, and humility. A full recipe for success.

But whitout BTS, he has good success with TXT, Enhypen, Le sserafim, Illit, Boynextdoor, TWS, &Team. He bought Ithaca Holding then became Hybe America. Hybe America bought QC, etc. But he has problem with Min Hee Jin and Kakao. Kakao CEO arrested by the police because of SM's stock price manipulation that cause Hybe failed as majority SM shareholder. Mainstream South Korea media hate Hybe. Some politicians also hate Hybe.

Hate him or love him, but one thing you can’t deny is that his vision and leadership develops a huge impact in K-Pop and the music industry which started from a small group called BTS managed by a nearly bankrupt company called Big Hit Entertainment. The Korean Hallyu wave was already known when BTS debuted, and no doubt there are so many seniors and entertainment companies before them that had reached the K-Pop stardom- but, BTS, Big Hit and Bang PD brings K-Pop to the global stage and make them more known worldwide.
K-Pop is more known worldwide after 2017, and that’s because BTS won their first ever BBMAs that no other K-Pop artist had won before and as the first K-Pop group, they performed at the AMAs, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen that makes other K-Pop groups goes on to these shows in later years. Year after year, there are always records they are breaking for being the first K-Pop act to do pretty much anything. BTS got their first number 1 album in the US in 2018, and after that more and more of K-Pop artists charts their album in the top 50 and top 10, and also went number 1. They also became the first K-Pop group to chart their song on top 10 of hot 100 on the same year and went on to be the first ones to get a number 1 hit in 2020. They started to tour in arenas to stadiums in North America, South America and Europe and now, other K-Pop artists have the opportunities to do it as well and aiming their world tour in these continents as well.
More and more K-Pop companies are sending their artists to the US for that global market breakthrough but no one is close to even break half of BTS records. Not even HYBE groups, who are the direct juniors of BTS and under Bang PD mentorship, though they are still thriving in the global market but with all of their success combined, they are still pretty far from BTS’ legacy.
Their impact is not a viral one hit wonder thing but their popularity increases each time they release new stuff and it doesn’t look like their popularity is stopping anytime soon. Even now, in military, they are the most streamed K-Pop artist on Spotify without releasing any music for two years and still bagged awards left and right, their impact is crazy. BTS and Bang PD are one of the craziest success stories anyone ever heard. People who are not even in the music industry crave even a little of BTS and Bang PD success. Truly inspiring.

It's clear this person loves music and producing. He is knowledgeable about art and has his own idea of what music is and what its purpose should be. He, like any human being, might not be perfect, and people might not agree with his vision, but we cannot deny his contribution to making K-pop global with BTS. Most importantly, he RESPECTS his artists enough to acknowledge them even in his personal interviews when he could have easily avoided doing so and taken the credit offered to him on a platter. Although this is not directly related to the interview, just compare this to Newjeans "mother." She makes sure to say more than NJ and takes the credit for being a mere producer, not even the producer of their music, but their marketing producer, in interviews originally meant for the group. (I already did not like her from that very first interview.) With BSH, BTS have grown up to be confident, self-respecting artists who do not and have never felt the need to constantly refer to him when accepting awards or receiving praise because he let them that freedom and helped them grow. On the other hand, NJ are idols who think they can't survive without MHJ and constantly feel the need to wear her badge to validate their existence as an idol group. That's how dependent she made them on her. Also, if we look at the humility of BTS and the arrogance of NJ, all these differences give one a perspective of who might be right and who is being manipulative in this whole feud. BSH is an example to follow by genuine people trying to make it big in the industry. Of course that doesn't apply to conspirators and manipulators like MHJ!

On MAMA 2024, when txt won an award, they thanked everyone but their company. Beomgyu was crying on a live stream because Soobin is not around, because Hybe successfully broken his health. All of the MOA fandom is in shock of how much they did this year, and not in a good way.

It is normal for successfull Idol group/artists.
I recently saw a post about what Stray Kids did and it was just as much if not more.
How would you know what is normal? Do you work the field in entertainment? Do you manage a successfull Idol group? Have you taken a closer look in the last few years on everything K-pop and how it works in SK?
If you paied attention you would know that Soobin is an introvert and insecure - exsepcially because of the pressure of being the leader but also not to let MOA down.
When the rest of the members were celebrating their first Lolla appearence SooBin was feeling badly and scared. The man is insecure of how good he really is.
That is not on BH or HYBE - but possibly on his family - I remember him saying he was only allowed to audition because his parents believed he would fail. He was also anxious about debuting believing he was not ready when he was.
You do realize they are human, right?
That means they can be overwhelmed and make misstakes. It means they can accidently forget to thank the company.
I remember once at an award sppeech RM of BTS - one of the best speakers - naming continents fans live on to thank them: he named one continetn twice and forgot Europe. Because he is human not a character in a book.
These are real people. Please stop forgetting this.
They are not video game character, or characters of a TV show etc. - they are real people and their life is stressfull. They can be random and there can be stuff you do not know about them.
There will be times when it is hard, when stuff does not seem to be working, when everything is too much - but that is not necessary the label it can just as much be the beloved fans they don't want to let down and they think they are not worthy of the admiration of their fans.
Since I mentioned RM - he quiet literary went off road after dropping Indigo because everything had become too much, too much pressure to be RM of BTS, their leader and the representitive of SK. He locked out the other members that he is close to and went with another newer friend because at that point the members of BTS were part of the problem.
But now he speaks about how he can not wait to be back with them again.
That is also true for TXT. Human are random, make misstakes, are insecure and exhausted mentally by good things as much as bad things.
In this case they also did not expect two awards (one probably) and were discovering what it meant to be without a leader/what the job of a leader entails.
