Hi Favour, I recently attended a virtual postgraduate social work program organised by the Social Work department of your University. I asked some questions about getting into the program come January 2023 as an international student from Nigeria. One of the lecturers said they currently have a student from Nigeria who would be rounding up soon and I knew it was you. I'm having such a horrible time at my placement at the moment. I've been assigned a practice teacher who is not just unhappy about any work I do, but also keep emailing my personal advisor and placement coordinator saying that my communication with her is not good, I'm not listening to her, I keep doing mistakes etc and they keep backing her up saying she has a point despite I'm one of the politest people you can ever meet.. She is a real example of a bad practice teacher and I'm counting every second to hope I finish with this placement so I don't have to deal with this evil character again. No matter how good I do, how much research or effort I put. She will always find something to argue about. Btw I'm 4 weeks now and I never got anything positive from her at all. Not a single word. She is extremely bitter character. I gave up my job, and will not go abroad this year to see my family just for this placement and then I get this practice teacher which made my life hell. I'm so sad and depressed

It's usually all year round depending on what intake. I know people who already got admission for September 2022.

Social Work admissions is mostly January and September intake. For January, it's late already.
