  • Follow Shalom resident Josh as he works to overcome issues that developed in Afghanistan after he was shot and blown up by an IED during his time as a soldier in the Australian Army. Becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol, Josh felt an emptiness in life; disconnected from friends and family. In this episode, we speak with Josh, his mentor and his family to explore the impact addiction had on their lives - and how he is working to overcome it.
Part one of two, join us next time as we follow Josh's journey through Shalom House - Australia's toughest rehab.
    Stay tuned.

Is this a story about addiction or about how the military will just dump their used up soldiers back into society without much care for how they'll do?
