I rediscovered the Katana after buying an original head but sticking with my Deluxe tubes. Got a 50 ex, which I play with Fender Deluxe patches. I wonder how many will pick up one of these if they already have one. My Airstep Kat changes the way I use it, making tweaks for each venue. May get one for a stereo run. Will the 50 gen 3 give 8 patches locations with a foot switch like the 50 ex?
Still overdrive is on the FIZZY side......different tones and effects good. Feel maybe there...but the way to get great overdrive tones is using the Clean Channel.

Nice video. Has the basic clean sound with no effects added been improved?
