I already have a KLON and I want this thing. Looking forward to all of the response videos full of crying and negativity. Nice job Behringer. This needed to happen. You guys are killing it lately.
Small footprint small price and top mount jacks. The people who will buy this pedal were never going to buy a “real” one used nor wait several years for a new one made by the designer. I’m here for it, I never wanted a Klon until this from Behringer .
I have absolutely learned to love Behringer in the past few years. I'm an American who has moved to Kenya, East Africa last year. Knowing that I won't have many nusic store options here, before I left, i ordered a few hundred dollars worth of Behringer gear, which effectively got me a few thousand dollars worth of pedals and recording stuff. Now, with the Danish musicians I've hooked up with, recording with a lot of Behringer gear, are about to drop an album and embark on a European tour. Thank you, Behringer!
First the Fuzz Bender and now this. Behringer is absolutely crushing it lately. All the synths and sweet pedals, Uli and the boys working hard in the lab cooking up the funk. Well done.
Behringer : ‘Sometimes a completely new idea comes along, that revolutionizes the guitar world’ ‘And here at Behringer we are of course very proud when the moment is there to officially announce that we have stolen it’ 😁
Totally agree. If they’ve just put this out using his own pedal name and his visual pedal trademarking and are challenging him to take them to court (knowing they’ve got way more money and resources than he does) this would be sh1tty in the extreme. So I hope they’ve done some kind of deal with him.
@@davidburke2132 I hope so, too. I spoke to Bill Finnegan when I ordered my Centaur around 2000/2001. He was nice and the pedal showed up when he said it would. The KTR is almost indistinguishable from the original, fwiw.
This looks pretty cool :) In my opinion, low volume sounds are very different from an amp pushing 80-90+ decibels. The best thing about the Centaur (or KTR) is how it works with an amp that is already sweating a bit. It doesnt get mushy and has a lot of volume/output to spare.
Was waiting for the NOTAKLON to be more widely available. I think it has an additional mode, which may still be worth holding out for. Hopefully this will drive down demand.
But what about the "Authentic" experience of having sold untold Pints of blood for the "real thing"? It's just not the same unless you've experienced the "Thrill" of Bankruptcy and dizziness from Anemia dammit!
Sounds a bit too fuzzy after 2 o'clock. Would love to hear a direct comparison with the real deal, which famously retains its clarity even at high gain.
@@brimans3092 How do you know this, have you had a chance to open one up? Since they're more mother and daughter companies I would expect them to just use the same design if the TC one is pretty good already.
How much did you pay Finnegan to get this licensed? Or is it a percentage deal? Anyways, good for him for getting an affordable version he's comfortable with out, knowing damn well it's out of his production capabilities, just look at the quote on the KTM PCB.
What does British style mean? Marshall? Vox? Or is Marshall considered American style because it’s based on a Fender Bassman or whatever? Serious question.

If you truly had a Klon then you would know this pedal sounds nothing like a real Centaur. 😂
@@HALWASRIGHTI have 4 klons and they all sound different.
Helix Klon that is.
Why would you want to watch videos "full of crying and negativity"? Doesn't sound very healthy.
uuuuuh can't wait for the shitstorm from the snob-section 😂
Cork sniffers, just play the damn thing 😂
😁😁😁
😂😂 brilliant.
I mean, there are millions of Klon clones. This is just one of those
Not really. Sorry. No schadenfreude for you
I'm here for Behringer's new "all metal enclosure while burying the idea of legendary pedals having to be expensive arc"
Finally we have the BLON
This made me LOL
BLON
STEP ASIDE KLONE, WE GOT THE BLON
Gentlemen prefer BLONS, no?
Next we will get the BS1
Honestly this beats out other Centaurs just for the enclosure, It's a little baby Centaur!

Warm audio already did it.

Honestly no idea why anyone would want to sound like John Mayer.
First the Fuzz Bender and now this. Behringer is absolutely crushing it lately. All the synths and sweet pedals, Uli and the boys working hard in the lab cooking up the funk. Well done.
And the biphase, the phasor, supafuzz, the TC stereo chorus!!!!
Behringer is fixing to make a lot of money! And I can’t wait to donate to the cause!
This is genuinely hilarious 😂 Got to love Behringer for just doing it 👍🏻
This is the funniest version of the klon to date. I'll definitely be getting one.
I have the Notaklon, that was pretty funny, but this? Getting one as well. Love a funny pedal.
What’s “funny” about it? Serious question.
Behringer is for the people 🙏🏽
Wake up babe, my stocking stuffer present just dropped 🎉
Good luck getting one before christmas, Fuzz Bender has been sold out
@@everopeThe release date is May of next year, so Christmas isn't happening.
Brilliant ❤ Really love how you bring it to the people 💪

But they stole it so you didn't have to...

Adam: "Listen to this!"
Pedal: *squeaky clonk sound*
I love it so much ❤
Incredible. I want one. And now... MAKE A BATTERY-POWERED GROOVEBOX
I hope Finnigan got a well deserved buy out! If that’s so, it’s fair enough that people with small pockets are able to hear the sound they long for!

Pretty cool! I’m happy to see more of this pedal line coming down the pike. Seems like Warm Audio should be looking over their shoulders.
Awesome! Look forward to acquiring one.
I can't wait to get this pedal!!!
I REALLY need something to keep my bedroom door from closing itself 😂😂😂
This is awesome
Yeah, more behringer pedals🎉
Christ, where did the bottom end go @ 4:30??
I didn't know I needed this.

I can feel the anger of the internet. I'll definitely be ordering one of these.
Atta boy. I dont understand the internet's ire around the Klon Centaur😄 It is a legit circuit. People who dont like it can simply buy something else.
Can’t wait the comparison videos 😂
Okaaaay... but where is the damn Linn LM-1?
Yeah where is it?
the pedal: quite nice
the Amp: oh my gosh im in love
The most important question is though: can it TD-3?
Huuuuuu… Nice Job Guys! Sound pretty awesome!
Small enclosure is what sold it to me
Get well soon!
I appreciate the use of the Telecaster for the demo jam. That was the guitar Bill engineered this pedal with

B-But I just paid $800 for a Bad Monkey pedal! 😶🌫️-It has the box-😶🌫️. I didn't want to, but Josh Scott made me do it.
Looks like the Warm Audio Centavo enclosure 😮
Ummm, which is a remake of the original.
@@StratTones Uhmm, we know.
behringer i love the new pedals, do a green russian big muff in a big green enclosure.
yes pleeeaasse
Don’t. Keep making pedals that manufacturer are on hold and unaffordable, you can find really good EHX Green muff for less than 90€…
I second this. I want a big green muffin!
Is this a rehoused Zeus from the tc line?
No
Awesome!🎉
Ordered it at Thomann. Expected in a few months….
Sounds grea with the tele!

Must have!
Came to listen to the pedal, imagine my surprise to see the dinosaur pile up T-shirt! Ace band.
Any update on the Behringer B-Tron?
This is promising!
Yep. Take my money. Excellent presentation and props to lights, camera and colour grading folks.
What about your version of Chorus Ensemble CE-1 ???
I need this pedal!!!
But does it have the tone goop over the clipping diodes?
Yes
Making the original marked up products less desirable. It's about time.
Awesomeness Behringer! You all Rock!
N I C E. Love to see it
I would love to get one, but it's still not available on Thomann. Make a black version as well, please! So I get both 😂
Where is that pedal sold? I don't see the pedal you are holding on the. Behringer website.
It was literally announced an hour ago, lol.
There are a ton of clones out there for $30 and up.
I’ve pre ordered on Andertons
Thomann
Forrest Gump: And just like that, people don't care about the Centaur sound anymore.
I ordered one.
What’s the forward voltage on the diodes?
Sick
estimated price and release date ?
70$
Release date with Behringer is usually 1-5 years into the future
Added to my letter to Santa...
Has it got a soft click switch or clicky one?
Clicky one
I love how they called it a Centaur and changed absolutely nothing with the aesthetics. /s
When are they going to be available in Europe?
Took you guys long enough lol
People will buy this just for the housing 😂
Jhs has officially left the chat section 😂😂
Price?
$69 (US)
nice
Is it SMD or full size components?
The question here is: ¿When?
How much??
That sounds great but... what's the difference between this pedal and the Zeus from TC Electronic? Aren't you guys supposed to be the same company?
Totally different circuit and components
@@brimans3092 Is that information from the company, publicly available, or are you just hypothesizing?
@@brimans3092 How do you know this, have you had a chance to open one up? Since they're more mother and daughter companies I would expect them to just use the same design if the TC one is pretty good already.
How is it called a Centaur? It’s actually licensed?
Yes
Behringer is selling 20 times more gear than any other company. They can just risk a lawsuit.
Awesome!! I'll buy it just to piss off the gear snobs!!
"No plastic here" so the knobs are made out of metal to?
clean amp??? LOL
Behringer Centaur = Ceriatone Centaur, i think both of them has aggreement to sold universal
A few months is less than a half a year!! I guess they have to have time to change the name before they sell. Heres an idea How about Klown. Or Centre
Lol....just looked on thomann, it's available in several months.
Waiting for the A/B test video with an original Klon to find out the results show most people prefer the sound of the Behringer pedal! 🤣
they made the thing LOOK like the thing! (gets out my wallet)
lol, the looks are most important, to most people, as we know
Please make a demo on loweset gain.
Am I hearing a Univibe at the beginning? Behringer Univibe?
How much does it cost?
Dinosaur pile up 🖤
amazing brand, overhyped pedal but looks nice
Snake oil. Guitarists are thick and deaf. Guitar speakers should be at head height by the way not ankle or 4 x 12 crotch
Wait a minute.... is Bill endorsing this or backing it or whatever??
All BOLLOCKS! Guitarists are their own WORST enemies!
Is this pedal and the fuzz smd or full size components?
What does it do different from your Zeus pedal? Or is it the same circuit in a bigger enclosure?
this one isn't fugly
Its totally different
Big damage, life is an MMO RPG

He must be involved, right?? Why wouldn’t Behringer say so, though? Would only add to its legitimacy.
If he's not getting a cut, I think there's a good chance of an IP lawsuit in the future.
@joehynes2964 he is
YESSSSSS
What does British style mean? Marshall? Vox? Or is Marshall considered American style because it’s based on a Fender Bassman or whatever?

When does it release? And what’s the price?
I'm not a fan of Mayer McCheese, but this does sound pretty sweet!
yes
What amp was used in this demo?
Dumble
Cool
