This is typical English countryside scene nowadays. Country house then main road in the background. On another note for my 1.9 I bought one of those brass machined blanks off ebay, which is basically a hole instead of the EGR
Hi Mark, can I ask what the purpose of putting the M12 bolt into the EGR body is? I've binned the cooler and put on the blanking plates but haven't done anything with the valve body
Hi mate, I only used this idea to seal up the EGR valve because the cover that goes on after I wasn't sure about the seal that sits in the top of it, with the cover, so by using an M12 bolt and a copper washer it should make a go seal as I am unsure if that seal would be airtight once I'd removed it refitted it, You may be ok using some gasket sealer and screwing it back up or try with out and pop it back together as it is 👍 I did this in my silver van and the van is running with no problems whatsoever it did over 1000 miles driving to Cornwall and back where I live
@@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY Thanks Mark, that makes sense. I take it you had no problems with the van throwing fault codes after binning the EGR? Btw these videos are brilliant for a fellow tinkerer like me. Keep up the good work buddy

Mark, if I remove the EGR from my 2012 Vivaro won’t that fail the MoT?
hi
mine was blanked off at the time ,and was ok for the mot,
It will if its obviously tampered with, but probably won't be spotted at mot time
I've removed mine all together now, it shouldn't fail a mot, but don't tell them it capped off, do the cat, dpf it might, tho
