Wonderful, I so much enjoyed this. I loved the church and the music you choose. Thomas Beckett. Names that I remember that I read about. Awesome. The music match so well with what we were seeing. Great job. Thank you for your hard work. I loved seeing it all. Looking forward to seeing more. Get a good rest. Thank you.
Great video and music as always. I live in Korea now, but grew up near and went to school in Canterbury, with a view of the cathedral every day. Glad you like my city, and your footage brings back so many memories, including one or two pubs - thanks for posting this!
Thanks! That's awesome to know. When I got off the train at Canterbury East, some students started chatting with me while we were waiting to get through the exit. They were coming in from Faversham and suggested I visit there. For those who can appreciate it, it must be awesome growing up around so much history. I never got tired of the local history where I grew up, but of course there was nothing on that scale.
Cool, you would have passed through Faversham on the way down from Victoria. It's a nice historical town and most importantly the home of the Shepherd Neame brewery, who produce the Spitfire ale you had!
@@nigelcowie6883 Yes, I went through it, but I didn't see much of it from the train. I didn't know Shepherd Neame was based there. I've been on their mailing list since I got on the WiFi in one of their pubs a few years ago. They have some interesting offers that never seem to align with my trips!
I set up in northeast England for a few days and a friend drove me around to some interesting sites. We popped over into Scotland for lunch one day just so I could say I've been there. I'm looking at spending some time there on the next trip.
Thanks! I did manage to get quite a lot of walking in while I was there, so perhaps it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Still, I didn't bother to check the scales when I got home :-)
Beautiful Canterbury scenery. Seems to be very famous for stone structures
So wonderful town with so pretty river floating boats
Beautiful houses with blue skies
Nicely done! Never been to Canterbury. This video makes me want to go! Thanks as always for the history and insights.
Thanks! I've enjoyed every visit there.

I really love the church and surrounding grounds. I've been to Scotland and loved the history and architecture. Also, the Scots were such nice people.

I just booked directly through lufthansa.com. And sorry, I don't have any special tips for finding cheap tickets.
