What could be better than a Les Frenchies Christmas markets video on Thanksgiving Eve here in NYC as we get ready for the biggest, bestest parade tomorrow ! Let the festivities begin and wishing everyone a lovely, festive and peaceful holiday season ! Merci beaucoup Colleen and Antoine!
We love the Frenchies, we were looking all over Paris in August for them LOL. Well maybe we run into them next trip around. Keep up the good work guys and for making all of us feel a little French too.
Wow talk about sensory overload!!! I too am watching on Thanksgiving Eve from Washington, DC! This was an amazing and fabulous Holiday adventure! Many thanks--I will watch it all over again soon! Gobble Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! Have been to Paris many times, but never right before xmas. I love your videos and excellent guildence to one of the best cities in the world !
From the USA, outside NYC in Long Island. I really enjoyed this video. Tha k you for sharing. I wish I could afford to visit Pris at Christmas. I really enjoyed watching the chr❤instead markets and hearing about the good.
Loved this video. Beautiful markets, buildings, decorations, unreal. The food, wow, so delicious looking. Great info as usual. Thanks so much, loved it, take care. Cheers!!
We ate at Poules Moules last August and loved their fries. Des frites cuites dans la graisse de boeuf. Will have to experience Xmas in Strasbourg and London though. Thanks Les Frenchies for this fun video.
This was a fantastic video, I loved it. I want to go to Europe at Christmas! The Christmas markets and food are calling me. Thank you. I am going to watch this a few times.
Le Tire Bouchon looks fantastic. Unfortunately, they aren't accepting reservations during the Christmas Markets this year. Fingers crossed, we'll get in!
We went to the Tire Bouchon in Strasbourg in mid October and we loved it, and returned a couple of times! The food was excellent, the service friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere very inviting! It does get very busy because it’s popular but try to either go early or during non-peak hours!
Thank you so much! I've been fantasizing about Christmas markets in Europe for the past 3 months. It's a summer Christmas here in the downunder. Santa surfs here haha.
Thank you for sharing this! It makes me want to go to France for the holidays. Anyone else think they are just going in circles when they were headed to the boats? Markets everywhere ;)
I have no Christmas markets anywhere near me. The US just does NOT do them. I was in Copenhagen and Stockholm right after Christmas, some years ago, and their season starts late, by US standards, and there were several markets still going between Christmas and New Years and it was just lovely. So fun and festive.
Just finished watching this. My question is -where do you put it all? The food is amazing and looks delicious! Oh my gosh-calorie overload.. 😄 Thank you for such a treat taking in the Christmas Markets. Happy Holidays 🤶🎅🏻
Wow, Xmas is in the air....Mon Papa took me during they holidays, all the way to La Maison Kamerzell to eat Une Choucroute et du foie gras. That sausage looked so impressive and tasty and we came home with trunk full of Pinot Noir. Bonnes fêtes à toutes et à tous
Doing something totally different, going this coming Monday ( 2nd of December) to Disneyland Paris to celebrate Christmas. Looking forward to seeing Disney Christmas decorations, parades and the food! Like yourselves I’m originally from the states ( Maryland), but moved to England some 31 years ago ( my husband is English, been to the Christmas Fair in Hyde Park some ten years ago and loved it! Unfortunately, haven’t been back since. Going to a Christmas fair in Winchester, which I’m sure will be on a much smaller scale, but will see. As a new subscriber, absolutely love your videos, especially looking at your food reviews!
Nice to see you guys in London and being so positive about it! One thing though you need to adjust your pronunciation of Leicester Square 🙂 it’s pronounced like LESTER 🙃, I remember this pronunciation last year, I suppose you don’t read your comments that often as someone would have commented on it last year 😂
Learn to do a capsule wardrobe by watching mm personal styling. The first step is to choose a white, ivory or off white for the color of your tops - just pick the color that looks best on you. It's essential for a capsule wardrobe to work. The tops need to be in different weight fabrics - tank, tee, long sleeve tee, light weight sweater, heavy weight sweater, cardigan.
Thank you for your video it was amazing I love Strassbourg that’s where my grandfather was born I am from Metz and miss sound that a Christmas down living in Dallas Texas didn’t thank you thank you thank you
Loved these tours...no favorite...every place is special when it's Christmas 🎄 ❤. Check out Munich too. Thought you found champagne in Strasbourg? Naturally they have bier...lots of great bier...this Alsace after all! No matter..the food alone made it worth it..everywhere. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you very much for your recommendations, which comes right on time. I am going to travel to Paris next week and after listening your video I feel well prepared. But I am worry to increase too much weight 😂
I now want to go to Straßburg. The chocolate callets you had in Brugge are most likely by Callebaut. They make excellent pink chocolate too. Worth getting a bag wholesale. Leicester square is pronounced a bit different in English, more like Lester square. John Lewis near Marble Arch is another department store worth a visit with a nice supermarket in the basement. They also sold Sari Cakes. Another shop to visit is the Japanese Knives Company store.I also liked the Victorinox store; not for the knives but for the bags and perfumes. I am just back from 4 marvelous days in Paris, thanks to your videos and those of a few other TH-camrs. We spent 30 minutes on the Tuileries Garden Christmas market. The food is good but very expensive.: €15 for a small cardboard plate of tartiflette? I heard there was a skating option on Montparnasse tower. Sadly I was too late for for a John Williams music concert. I did accidentally ran into rehearsals of a choir in St. Germaine church.
@LesFrenchiesTravel Regarding my Paris trip I watched Jay Swanson, Amusing Aida, earful Tower, Theo in Paris and a few others. I collected the most useful videos in a public Paris playlist in my TH-cam account, public to be shared with my colleagues also on this trip. I did take into account it would be a winter & pre Christmas trip. So no picnics or other summer activities.
Very interesting. Live on outskirts of London and go up regularly. But some interesting things in the video that we will try soon. BTW it is pronounced Lester Square and you don't need "the" before many London landmarks. The cost of your Airbnb was quite eye watering 😂 Thx for the video.
Bonjour guys, couple of questions here :- 1.will you suggest just a DAY TRIP to Strasbourg from PARIS for its christmas market vibes? 2. what to plan on Christmas day itself since most shops/restaurant will be close? thanks
The Lafayette tree was from 2 yrs ago? I had Tartiflette last Christmas. Yummy.. cheese looks good trying it this Christmas 2024❤ i always go on a diet before traveling to Europe every December, so many good food to eat.
Pour la choucroute à Strasbourg, il faut manger au restaurant la maison Kammerzell, dans la magnifique maison juste à côté de la cathédrale. C'est eux notamment qui ont inventé la choucroute aux 3 poissons.
None of the inventors, the Germans? Forget it! In Hamburg there is one for adults , in Berlin 60 different ones, in every village or small town at least one.
Oops! It’s ‘Lester’ Square in London, not Liechester, but that’s ok. I love your videos anyway and Paris is always my favourite even though Strasbourg and Bruges do sound wonderful, too xox
What’s the name of the Indian restaurant you like in London? Going to be in London in less than a week and would like recommendation. Thank you for all your videos - I’ve been watching many since last year when I started planning our trip to London and Paris!
Colmar, Riquewihr, the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria? I am not even sure about Paris having among the best Christmas markets in France, in Paris that's quite a "recent" phenomenon and it is obviously very commercial vs traditional.
St Pancreas is pronounced Saint Pancress. It is not to be mistaken with a human organ. I would say about the square but everyone beat me to it. You are pronouncing things how they are spelled but that isn’t how things actually are said. Last thing Big Ben. That is the bell located in side the tower. The tower itself is called the Elizabeth tower. You get that wrong and people pounce.
@@arborealscout4252 yes I have noticed that. I have watched some of their videos before which appeal to my father as he can be sold on a location based on food. Just like his father before him. Haven’t really learned anything other than the food I don’t want to eat. Nothing about the location itself
Oh dear, I hate when people who know about food come to London it’s so embarrassing, I worked in Paris for a couple of years and don’t know why I came back 😥
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Oh sorry i didnt mean to chew you out...........to be clear i frequently mispronounce french words lol..........i just wanted to let you know because for the future- i love your videos btw
Well, a fair typically serves indulgent walkable foods, but they don't do reviews, they just document what they eat on a given day, and then label their videos as "the best". In Germany and other countries than where they have been, there are many market foods that are not "cheap" or "street", and they even have sit down pop up restaurants with table service...
@@LesFrenchiesTravelThank you, but I am from Europe. What I meant was, that Europe is much bigger than France, the UK or Belgium. I doubt that you have visited many christmas markets in other european countries. So it‘s very prosumptious to claim, that these four are the best in Europe.
@@MsStoiber You can't correct Les Frenchies, don't you know that!? They will just delete your comments. 🤣😂🤣😂They also go around Paris rating the "best" restaurants - with no criteria - and no knowledge in some cases (falafel) of what it is even supposed to taste like. 🤣
A Les Frenchies video on a Wednesday about Christmas markets is a surprise Christmas gift! Merci!

True. Not far away is Saarland. There we've a good one in St.Wendel.

Vienna is supposed to have awesome Christmas markets. Can you feature those?
