Nice. Dudley Digges son Edward, went to Virginia and was at one point, a colonial governor over the colony. He also attempted silk worm production but it wasn't successful. He resided in York County, Virginia. Edward is a direct descendant and it was a neat surprise to see you enter that village.
Very cool! I had never heard of Chilham until I was planning for this trip. I was looking for interesting places in walking distance from Canterbury and there it was.
Holy cow, that is absolutely stunning! It looks so peaceful, and I don't see any tourists around. Is that just typical countryside in the UK? I'm so jealous!
Hi sir, ever heard of a trail/pilgrimage way called Camino de Santiago in Spain? It’s another nice/historical trail to try in the future. I enjoy your videos very much. Thanks!
Merrie olde England, countryside different to the cities....tho us Irish have a different view of all things English...😂 A pint or three of Strongbow...I opened a can during your walk to get into the story, weather was great Strongbow weather for the walk😊 Good to see your viewpoint as a visitor to England....and you never know who you might bump into on those public footpaths th-cam.com/video/q97gUrw3ib4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FlRhX8qwZNw5UIZ0 🤴
I think that may have been my first Strongbow. Can't recall if I've tried it before or not. On my trip last year, I had Old Mout for the first time. That's my go-to when it's available. The cyclists'' video showed up in my feed a while back. I was struck that the king can just stroll along alone like that in a place accessible to the public. I understand that he has security and staff not too far away, but still.
Great walk. Thanks for taking us along 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
마음이 청량해지는 느낌이에요

I am amazed you could trek across private property. Simply beautiful countryside and aky. I love the textured layers of the walls along your walk.
Can't wait until I can get back and do it some more.
You have made me want to visit more towns and cities in England Mike, great vlog as always
Thank you! I hope you can make it happen.
I like the cows 😂 and the UK is also a nice country to travel
I didn't really expect to encounter any cows. Happy I did.
