Wish i had seen this before buying an acrylic mirror to put on our motorhome bathroom door. I did it for safety reasons, but it has significant distortions - akn to the old fairground hall of mirrors 😂. Now need to find a way to remove it without taking off the laminate. Will look to replace it with safety glass? I hope your video saves other people this grief.
Thanks for your question. My fix was to scrap the mirror and buy one with a light fitted, that said, mounting the acrylic on a board will add rigidity and allow it to 'flatten out'.
I've got the point. Thanks The perplex as a material is more flexible than a glass sheet. Any pressure on it from its own base or applied on it, will create a deflection. The final conclusion, we can save some money buying it, but may be forever disappointed with.
Nothing beat the 100% real glass mirror 😊
Great video 👍🏾👀
