This Samsung S23 Ultra had EXTREME Water Damage. It required a CPU SWAP to Recover The Data

Here’s how we fix the motherboard of a Samsung S23 Ultra so that we can recover all the pictures, videos, contacts, texts, notes from it.
This phone was so badly water damaged that it required the “hail mary” of repairs, a CPU Swap. Where we transplant the CPU, UFS, RAM and EEPROM onto a working donor board. This video covers everything you need to know about this advanced data recovery technique.

Please do not try this yourself. This is a very delicate process & if you damage any of the paired chips, you WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA.
Please only send your board to qualified CPU SWAP specialists as well. Check their Google Reviews and ask them what’s their success rate. One wrong move & the data can be lost.
In this video, we go through the process to prep the donor board. This is a fully working board of the same model: SM-S918B
This requires removing all the chips, CPU, UFS, RAM, EEPROM and clean all the underfill then wick all the pads flat
Then we remove the same chips from the customer’s board & save all the paired chips.
The chips needs the underfill removed from all of them. This is a very delicate process as well.
Then we reball the CPU, UFS, RAM & EEPROM
Without the original EEPROM chip, the pin code will not work. So please do not lose it.
Then we install the chips with our hot air station & fully boot up the phone!
Once it’s turned on, we pull the data via a Smart Switch Backup file.
