honestly my favorite technique you use is voltage injection when there's a short. Having the ability to see where the thermals are going is such a cheat code, but no one can deny it's genuine and fast. Kudos good sir - love Bob, too - our black cat and Bob could have Black Kitty Committee and sort out the world's problems in no time. Cheers!

I built my gaming pc. I put around $3000 into it. I am absolutely ocd about it. I clean it weekly, i unplug it when it's thunderstorming and lightening (i know a little excessive but what can I say). I even do other things because of irrational fears about it messing up. I don't understand it when people pour their hard earned money into something and then don't take care of it.

Hey bud. On the switch I charge £50 for the screen plus the shipping costs. I use genuine screens because I pull them from donor housings but they're always in mint condition because the digitizer protects them :) If you're in Sutton Coldfield I could meet with you in person. I wouldn't give my address but I'm at the new invention post office in willenhall every day at 4:40pm :)
Ceramic caps are device killers if they suffer shocks. Seen some very expensive kit die because of penny pinching and not even using automotive grade caps.....
AEC-Q200 ceramic caps are not really different from non AECQ. In this case it is (almost) just a label you pay for pre-certifications so you can skip some annoying tests for vehicle approval. What matters is the ratio of working voltage to rated voltage as well as the cap size - the smaller the less reliable. Now they build whole switching power supplies with tiny 10uF ceramic caps as main filter caps. Of course it will fail eventually.
It's because of the resistance of the component. It has a lot more power than normal flowing into it because it's shorted to ground, but since the line itself has very low resistance, it is the component that gets hot.
Sellers need to be honest but some sellers do try to give accurate descriptions but even if they bought it new they can't know what all has happened to unit before they got it i have bought brand new items and they be damaged in shipping or manufacturing

CEX does not do repairs, not even for its own equipment. What they do is puting the equipment on the shelf for the warranty period and then saying "we can't fix it. We'll refund you". They may be able to fix it in the store, but for that to happen they have to have an employee with knowlage who to fix it. Otherwise is RMA. Basically what they do next is sending the equipment for RMA center and there they try to fix it (if is software problems must of them), if they can't then they sell it in bulk quantities to other companies to try get the money back. At least that's how it was here in Portugal/Spain when I worked there. Years back.😆

Hi as a side video idea. Can you do a water damage video on 4 donor boards. One put in rice, then one in 70% ipa and last two in 90% and 99.9 % ipa. Just to show the corrosion that can be caused and results of the different mediums as a go to. We know the answer but a video showing it would be cool. Edit : it could be any boards off any device just the same boards . Also the Rice test should be left for 48hrs in a warm environment. (For fairness) four cheap mobile phone boards would work. You could submerge them all in water for equal time . Then put each board in a takeaway container submerged in the “fix” for a set amount of time. Shorter time for the various ipa’s . Then leave them for a month..in the containers . After which check each one for corrosion/ functionality. Edit: Edit : the reason I say leave them for a month AFTER removing the fix is because water can maybe cause further corrosion after it’s dried.

I could never send you a console having seen you let a cat sit on a customers console. I and many others are highly allergic to cats, and if my console came back full of cat dander because you let an animal sit on it it would be a big problem for me. You should keep the animal OFF customers devices

Consoles aren't built to high quality standards. If you want a quality gaming device, you'd need to build a custom PC with quality parts
