Messy to Minimal! Getting our son settled in his new place!

Since starting this minimalist journey, I've gotten rid of so much stuff! I never realized why I was always so stressed out, and spent all of my time cleaning. Now that I've really paired everything down, it's incredibly important to maintain this state of peace in my home. My goal was to release 21 items, and I got rid of much more! I have never been happier with the state of my home, even though it's not perfect. Despite still having work to do, the level of comfort is not something I've experienced in a long time. Hey Darling! Good job! I like to practice a perpetual decluttering system. PDA. I have a basket in my bedroom to put stuff in periodically as I am cleaning etc also have a bin in my garage. I usually take stuff once a month to goodwill. Sometimes it is every other month,

I would keep the French press for the reason you stated. I keep a tub with things for “in case the power goes out”.

New subscriber 😊❤😊 Great quick declutter. I’ve been decluttering 25 items per day for about 6 months & it feels awesome. I truly can’t believe I have so much stuff that’s not necessary 🤦‍♀️ We keep our coffee in the fridge it keeps much better. When I do a room I put a small box for items that need rehomed within my home aka: the large q-tips. If I leave them on the counter I probably won’t move them to proper place. The heat & humidity here in Charlotte NC is brutal. I can’t enjoy any outdoor activities😞
