Id replace chance with preparation (Your not wrong but I feel chance and luck are interchangeable) Coming prepared with popularity, and favorite foods is a must do unless you want to spend hours grinding.
Awesome video!! :D The befriending system can be super sucky sometimes, it's awful when you need to find a yokai for a quest and it takes forever to get one because you have awful luck with the system lol
I've been replaying a lot of my old 3ds game recently and I realized that they're all still awesome, but a lot of them were SO much better when there were online systems and a ton of players on there. Pokemon, animal crossing, fantasy life, yokai... I mean there's a lot of amazing offline games too but 3ds online systems were the best honestly. You're 100% right.
@@SwedePotato314 Hey same! i have a lot of free time now on my hands while I'm working and I've been having a blast, replaying a lot of games and some that I didn't played a while back. im surprised you didnt talk about how the 3rd game has a method of using Deva Aura in the main game to get yo-kai theres an aura that greatly increases the chance to befriend yo-kai for 30 minutes and it stacks with the blasters, popularity, and feeding them, its not a garunteed but i got 4 differnet yo-kai in a row from doing that alone and that was without the blaster
5:28 You can infinitely easily get voltXtreme by just random chance when buying ANY drink from vending machines, so I don't think it's that difficult to get. (this is true of at least 1)
@@benevolence4246 it is still quite rare though. Making it so you have to keep buying from vending machines for a small chance to get it which is way more annoying than just buying it directly
The best odds are actually higher, because you can get normal wisps and golden wisps in the same battle, and if you're lucky they can both be friendship.
What about boxing aura in ykw3? It's easily one of the best ways to befriend yo-kai, as it auto befriends the first yo-kai you beat in a dungeon, and only costs 1 ghastly fragment. There are a LOT of yo-kai in blasters t too (Including Peppillon in the S Rank Labyrinth.) And for the longer dungeons, all you need to do is play as a healer and don't attack anything (AI's won't count), and when you do find the yo-kai you want, just swap to an attacker and knock them out before your AI does! The only problem with boxing aura is that yo-kai holding treasure and some yo-kai (Like in Labyrinth of Valor) are un-befriendable and take away your boxing aura.
yo a tip to make your video watchable instead of recording with a camera up to your 3ds you could just record a rom of the games, its really easy now with stuff like obs and citra
@@NICHLOS I would do that but I'm pretty sure it's hard to get a capture card especially on an older 3ds. I have tried setting up citra but I need a better graphics card

After defeating a yokai (or if you’re lucky sometimes after knocking it down in battle) a circle will appear around it and you will have limited time to interact with it. You will get a kon of either gray red or gold. There are skills to increase the odds of getting kon. After getting enough kon of each color (gold is always needed) you can take them to a certain area to befriend the yokai
@gavincookierunner1637 level 5 barely advertises the game and wonders why no one knew about it. Unfortunate because ykw3 is prolly my favourite game of all time
@@Mattinyan101Yeah, I only bought it because I saw it on TH-cam before it was localized. And even then... I didn't buy it until some months before the eShop closed down (Got it digitally since I was NOT going to pay an obscene amount of money for a physical copy when I could just get a digital copy instead). Honestly I like the befriending system in 1-3

I dont like befriending in yo kai watch 3 because you can just give them a forbidden fruit and its 100 percent chance to befriend

yeah its to easy

befriending system is bad in 3 because there are qr codes to get 99 forbidden fruits which makes it so easy to get every yokai
I made my Originyan slippery just because I needed the aimbot gun since I suck at using the yokai blaster.
