    You did not fail, you got wiser ;) very nice of you to put this video, youtube it's always full of success stories, showing the other side actually is more motivating somehow as we are all on the same boat. I failed my OSCP the first time, got it after. All the best my friend

    I failed the eJPT first attempt and punched a whole in my door, took it again and passed. It feels good I passed but I have to look at this hole, situation change but how we act while in said situation can last forever. You are smart as hell it’s not a matter of if you get it, it’s a matter of when, stay up.

    I liked this review thank you! I feel like the eJPT is a lot like a CTF exam. Good to know that the PNPT is not one of those but more like a real world example. I need to get some real world experience in before I go for that one.

      Everything you need to know is covered in the 5 TCM security courses. 1) Practical Ethical Hacking. 2) Windows Privilege Escalation 3) Linux Privilege Escalation 4) OSINT fundamentals and 5) External Pen-test Play book .
      Real world experience will help though. But you don’t it’s have to have real world job experience to pass . It’s not a Prerequisite for passing this cert

    Appreciate making a video from a failure. It sucks something fierce but I feel like you can learn more in failure than in success. Also helps others not feel alienated in failure since TH-cam tends to only highlight success.

    Thanks for the review. I was thinking of jumping on PNPT as my first red team cert. Only HTB and THM. Thanks for the highlight! I thought this would be a CTF type as well. Are firewall intrusion and detection also provided in the course?

    • @tadii
      @tadii  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No firewalls and intrusion detection are not highlighted in the exam, but that is only because it should not be a problem in the exam. If it really mattered for the exam I am sure they would have put it in the course. All the best to you though

    I failed my first try aswell. We probably took the same environment. Took me 2 days to get past the osint part too. I ran out of time, one-step from the domain admin. I scored an entry level position so I will go after the OSCP now. I realized what I forgot up on after the test was over

    Hi! So I'm preparing to take this exam in the next month or two. You mention in this video that the testing environment includes antivirus and firewalls, which is concerning me. The course (at least so far) does not cover how to avoid being stopped/detected by firewalls and antivirus... In fact in all of the labs they specifically tell you to turn all of that stuff off. For reference I have so far completed the Practical Ethical Hacking Course and a little over half of the OSINT course so maybe it'll be coming up somewhere in the rest of the material, but if not how did you learn how to deal with this?

    • @tadii
      @tadii  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good question, you will be able to go through everything you need (stuff you've learnt in the course) even if you don't necessarily know how to do AV evasion. It shouldn't be a factor in determining whether you pass or not
