      @@tadii I see... :) Thanks for the hint. Oh, and one more thing, if you're allowed to comment, that is...Should I be worried about buffer overflow for PNPT, or is the focus really on compromising Windows domain? I'm asking because I come from the world of MCSE and I'm pretty experienced with AD (maintenance and security), so I was wondering if I should expect to benefit from this. :D
      Thanks and congrats on passing the exam, once again!

Its like learning a new language, but not having spoken it outloud yet. I think after taking the pnpt course ill be ready though.

    I"m thinking about taking the CPTS only BECAUSE they force you to finish the entire pentesting course before you can even TAKE the exam.

    • @defkrogeldiz3197
      @defkrogeldiz3197 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The CPTS is one of the hardest pentesting certifications that does not involve AV evasion or exploit development. It is MUCH harder than the OSCP. I would not recommend taking it if you're a beginner, do the learning path on HTB and start with PNPT / CRTP / OSCP or similar.

    • @tadii

      OSINT? Nah, the course is enough, especially if you are able to combine the info in the OSINT one with the external pentest one

    I failed on my first try.
    I was pretty fast in the OSINT part and external exploitation. I lost some time with pivoting but got it.
    Then I got stuck in the internal assessment/exploit. I was able to enumerate a lot of info in the DC.
    Do you have any recommendations for studying before my second shot?
