Hey, mate! Thanks a lot! I'm pretty sure you will enjoy the Course! But, if you never touched the HandPainted, I recommend to start with my free Tutorials to try it out. Like the HandPainted Shovel :)
I'm curious, how would you go about painting a material with lots of micro detail like something full of tiny holes or a particularly rough surface like sandpaper or gravel pit or something? Or even a golf ball
Hey, thanks for the video. Tell me, please, why fill the model in black, and then paint with bright colors for the emission effect? I need to know what it's for and how it's done.
I also wanted to know about the language in the courses. There is a video on your website that the diorama course had several broadcast languages. Do artstation courses also have a choice of language, or how does it work?
Hey, man! I offer my private Mentorship on different languages. While the videos have ENG language for everyone... I been planning for adding some subtitles later on... But currently I have zero free time :| Working for like 70hrs a week hehe
That's easy! Imagine that everything that is black, it will be transparent. Everything that is white it will be visible. So that way you set forms for your models that need it. Also, we put black and white to the A layer. RGB + A (RGBA) format. I have a more detailed videos about it with Grass Tutorial :)
@@Арп-ж4е Yeah, I'm currently running the class of 20 people's with the Mentorship. Feel free to hit me in Discord(zugzug#3828) for more talks about mentorship things :)
@@DarkSmi1er 3DCoat if free for Students and you can use Trial version without export function. If you try texturing for games in Blender... that gonna be a nightmare and pain ;)
@@ZugZugArt Texturing in Blender is 100% doable, and easy. There are a multitude of free texture libraries that you can literally drag and drop onto models, and texture painting is also possible, and also easy. It's compatible with pen pressure and graphics tablets, and custom brushes are possible. It's not a nightmare at all. 3DCoat does offer a program that is texturing only that is cheaper than the full modeling program, though, if you prefer to use it after modeling in Blender. There are tons of tutorials online on how to texture paint, especially in Blender 4.

so it is recommended just use color base color part for both shadows and highlights?
Nope, it depends on the material you are painting and the mood of the asset you are targeting. Those colors can be what ever you want :)
@@ZugZugArt ok, do you recommend iPad/procreate to handpaint like that?
What graphic tablet do you recommend?
Wacom all the way! If the new ones could be a bit expensive, go for ebay and older used versions
Okay but, what are the shortcuts to "pick color" and "blend" them?? In my 3d coat it only paint over...
V for pick color, pen draw for blend. I also have a 3DCoat scene setup video
which program is this?
That's a 3DCoat, the one that used for League of Legends and World of Warcraft texture creation :)
I have some starting tutorials for it on my channel
