O'Neil got schooled by Unai Emery big time,apart from changing things at half time & making some key substitutions apparently Emery gave the players a stern talking to at the break which is not normally his style,but I guess it had the desired effect obviously. It seems like Gary O decides on his substitutions pre-game. He knows who he will be changing and at would time. Regardless of how good/bad someone is playing, game situation, fitness level or opposing team tactics, he makes his predetermined changes at predetermined times. So frustrating, as a fan; watching your manager overlooking the obvious and making the same mistakes week after week. Ughhhh
We will have had played ALL of the top 7 in the first 9 games. The board haven't replaced the players we sold. Back end of the season we had absolutely no players available...Gary has to take some accountability however we have to be very realistic. Gary absolutely has to stay til Xmas, but he needs to swallow his pride and go back to a 5 to try and scramble a win. We've had solid 45 - 60 minutes in nearly every game however we are getting punished brutally for every single minor mistake.
Of I may act as counsel for the defence I would argue that Wolves have played very well at times but can,t keep it for 90 minutes,also they have played the top teams except city and have Liverpool tocome,don,t knock a good manager the results will come,it is a long time until next May,so with that I will text my case.
Personally think wolves main issue is the ownership in fairness 1st half you had your absolute best chances and we were at our worst and it took a misplaced pass for your to score i can honestly say i never though we would lose to you. you could of been 3-0 up at half time and i believe would of won 4-3 due to the lack of squad depth you have in terms of replacing oneil Moyes or rod edwarss would be a good one
