Just a bit of a mini-review, I've been playing the new Rogue Trader game up to the second chapter. So far, it is very good, there are a few issues but nothing that should cause problems for anyone playing it. Though, might not be able to get the Space Wolf until the third chapter which I am not sure is out yet or not.
to be fair the earlier editions were all like "and they sat the entire Horus Heresy out and outnumbered their loyalist counterparts because of it" So the Shadow Crusade hit two birds with one stone.
8:30 If the Eldar hadn't ambushed baby Angron, he wouldn't have been injured so bad that got him captured by Nucerian slavers who put the nails on his head in the first place. The Eldar sought to prevent Angron from becoming Khorne's champion in their visions but ended up causing it themselves as a Self-Fulfilled Prophecy.
That was when Kurze realized even by predicting the future he couldn't beat the Lion on a 1x1 match, simply because the Lion uses unconscious abilities to Strike, he doesn't even need to think before doing it, it's absolutely natural.
Didnt Kurze nearly kill him two times before the Lion was saved by Corswain and later Dantioch ? Lion fanboys forget that out of three matches he only won one by himself.
But if Kurze ability allows him to see future, then it's irrelevant whether he reads Lionel mind or not. He's not trying to see what Lion's trying to do he's looking at the future. The writer's gonna need some serious explanation for this.
@@jeanmichelbambi2563 I mean yeah, they literally hurt the guy when he isn't in rage and killing stuff. I think that's why he became khorne's new favorite action figure
Poor Angron... That fellow is suffering in both mind, body and spirit. I can almost imagine a small piece of the noble Angron, huddled away in some dark recess of his mind, sobbing in utter despair, never to see light or hope again. 😥
Remember the ascension to Demon prince frees the primarch spirit from the body as we can see with the clone of Fulgrim. Angron is actually doing great and likely chilling with Ferrus, Sanguinius and the other afk Primarchs.
There was one group of people who genuinely cared for Angron, and they're all dead. If Lorgar cared, he would've crushed his head with that undeserving mace
@MrFallenone Even then, I can't believe his spirit isn't somehow scarred from his life and looking at what has become of his previous self, with grief. To know, that what was once you is now a murderous, rampaging monster, genociding millions, has to hurt to your core.
Excuse ME. That was NOT a world eater dreddy. That absolute unit was the OLD Legion Master of the Warhounds still in their old colors and he tried to kill Angron for what he did to the legion.
@jarlathquinn2628 You are correct sir. They played for about one or two rounds, with a servitor holding the cards for Lhorke, until he got fed up with it.

Yeah a world with ultra terms and defensed by gman but a group of ragers and Petties win, retards should learn their place and stop trying to influence gw to allow them any type of win😊
Along with the books this is based on were heartbreaking in so many ways, Angron actually stood among the bones of his fallen gladiator brothers and sisters and CRIED.. Angron CRIED! His he considered himself already dead and this was his grave, on top of that when Lorgar fought Guilliman he came to the realization that Robute had NEVER resented him, hated him, thought himself better than Lorgar.. not any of that and felt truly betrayed by what his brother had done to Ultramar. Lorgar even tried to apologize and explain everything to Guilliman but quickly realized it was pointless. If you want to hear a lot of this yourself then listen to the Audiobook "Betrayer" its amazing though listening to "The first Heretic" helps with context. Traitors still gotta die but the books and story in them still hit ya in the feelz
Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being placed in Guillimans position as lord regent would be pretty cool ngl , seeing their own imperium's burn of flourish would be great.
"We're here to return the favour." Also, Lorgar is lowkey a really capable strategist. The thing about Lorgar is that he actually cares and thinks that he's doing the right thing. He was willing to risk his life to stop his men being slaughtered by Corax. In his mind he was probably doing the only thing he could to prevent his brother Angron from dying.
It's still pretty sad looking at Angrons life and the fact that during that final part of the battle he was happy knowing that death was finally coming... but nope. Now a prince and in even worse pain. 😢
Imagine if Guilliman had stayed and managed to murder Lorgar before he could complete the ritual. The Ruinstorm would've been stopped, *and* Angron's tragedy would've finally ended with him getting to die in peace. On the downside, the G-man and the remaining Ultramarines would've almost certainly died too. But with no Ruinstorm dividing the galaxy, the remaining Traitor Legions are pretty well fucked because there's nothing slowing down the Lion and Sanguinius from coming to Terra's defense.

Those Abyss class ships were a custom order built in secret and since they were all destroyed quite easily I would say not that good. Size and firepower is not everything. As the nazis learned when fighting the soviets endless waves of cheap T-34s.
Yeah they did, one of the events that occurred during the heresy was the destruction of a forge world that possessed a large amount of STCs and was one of the pioneers for technological advancement, the head machanicus destroyed the forges to prevent them from falling into the hands of the traitors, and with it the knowledge to make much of the technology of the pre-heresy impirium, because had the traitors gotten the forge there was actually a decent chance they could have won.
