Hey Alex, was just wondering what's the drone like w/ the valves closed for long runs on SZR.
I'm currently exploring exhaust options as I'm nearing getting a .2 GT3 as well (just can't seem to find one w/ the right spec) and this Dundon sounds wild.
by the way, I live a couple of blocks down.
Hey beko, that's awesome! Finding the right spec is very difficult here, I had to monitor the market for months before I found this one. You could check out the German options on mobile.de as well, might be worth a shot. I saw a few good ones before.
Drone is very manageable, it only becomes noticeable above 140 kmh due to higher RPMs. So cruising at 120-140 is no problem even with valves open.
I did notice that the exhaust was somehow louder in the lower RPM range the first week after installation. I'm not sure what happened, but I imagine that the valves started working properly (or I got hearing damage lol). I could share some videos to show you what I mean.

can you provide some perspective on how loud this set up is? In a neighborhood how many house down could this be heard say at full throttle 9krm?

Best years for the GT3 series imo would be 16-19
I love mine, but I wouldn't have to think twice about upgrading to 992 GT3 if I had the chance. Even if its just for the 992 rear light bar
@@992rstt i definitely agree. The rear looks so much better. I didn’t care for the newer front because I felt it had to strong of a presence and I personally don’t like the attention driving exotics gives me.

Yeah, I live in Dubai and I’m able to drive the car anywhere with the right documents

Depends on the spec. But even if it's GCC spec (custom to gulf coast countries), it'll be fine in cold weather. They just get upgraded with better cooling parts to deal with the desert heat.

is it hard to see through those tints at night?
Driving at night is always an adventure with the tinted side windows. But no issue if the roads are well lit. It would only start getting dangerous if you also tint the windshield.
