Kim, I am Mexican, we keep our tortillas in the fridge! They’ll go stale in the pantry and you are gonna reheat them anyway when you want to eat. At least in Mexico we never eat them cold.

I’m Hispanic and married in to a white family of polish and Norwegians. They eat them cold. I cried. I have spent the last 13 years trying to reform them. 😂😂😂 ❤️
Putting them in the freezer works great as well . Remove the only the quantity you need.

Yea! Pantry Video!!! Just a helpful hint, (I watched all those pantry videos too) the labeling of the baskets is for the family members who walk in there and put things back. That's how things get out of control quickly, they have no idea where to put things. Thanks for the happy this morning!!
And put your Cricut to a good use adding labels rather than those overpriced ones from Target 😏

If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend you line the potato and onion bins with some newspaper. Helps to absorb moisture from any that might have gone soft due to bruising.
Or a brown paper bag from IKEA ;)
I love how real and down to earth you are. It wasn't just a quick snap of the finger and everything is done. That's a huge job, good job finishing it in a day. My kitchen would've been unusable for a few days getting all of that done lol
I love the “yea” and “pantry clean up” in the middle of the song. It’s those added value touches that make me come back for more!
Get a hook rack to go on the long wall for all your aprons. Good way to keep them handy and display at the same time! I did and it’s works awesome.

It looks beautiful Mrs. Whisk! The only suggestion I have is to separate your potatoes and onions further because the gas from the onions can make your potatoes sprout too quickly. Maybe by just putting the cutting boards in the middle can help
Thanks so much for the tip!! I know some fruits and veggies let of gasses that bother each other so I may even have to put them further away from each other to prevent that!! Thanks
Wow! That totally explains alot to me because I just had that exact thing happen in my pantry drawer! My potatoes looked like naval mines!
And-and-and, while we're being 'that' girl... should they be on the ground? There are bugs. Also, I was told not to do plastic bc they need to "breathe"... Which, when I think about sighing onions I get a little twitchy. Anyhoo, I keep my taters and onions in wicker baskets.
I’ve been anxiously awaiting this ever since I saw you post on IG! My goodness what a transformation! It looks great! I’m glad to see your flour and sugar containers all full and ready for your next baking adventure. Now hopefully the family can help keep it organized. Oh! I wouldn’t fix that squeaky hinge….it helps alert you when someone is sneaking in to grab a snack lol
Great job, everything looks fabulous AND functional! One quick recommendation I’d have though is maybe move the potato basket to the other side of the pantry floor; onions produce a gas that can actually age potatoes, so maybe even just putting the cutting boards between them may help in their longevity

Omg, i felt your pain throughout this process! Organizing is harder than the cleanup. It's time consuming too. The key to keeping the pantry and anything else orderly, is always putting things back in the right place after use. When we use an item and then don't put it back in it's proper place, chaos begins. At least I find this to be true about my pantry. I have been ignoring my pantry for while now and I'm afraid to go in there lol.
I would also add that labeling isn't for Kim, it's for the rest of the family because that's who really messes with the system!

I’m watching this while pumping for my newborn and I’m suddenly having the urge to clean everything in my house 😂 and then I try to get up and she loses it so that feeling passes pretty quickly 😂

Lived in upstate NY and never refrigerated mine, either! Still don’t now that I’m in North Carolina. And I don’t use much - I think the bottle I have is a couple of years old!
Loved this video😀🌸 my suggestion would be now, is to shop from your pantry , start using the stock you have, As pennies into pearls ( youtuber) says 👍😀.

I giggled a little when you found the bag of marbles. When our children were all at home, I always had a bag of marbles with my baking supplies. When you add a cupcake liner to your pan, put a marble between the liner and the pan and it forms a heart. I always made my childrens cupcakes in the shape of a heart...especially for our RED Valentines day dinner and dessert. I miss those days

Looks great! FYI, a great thing to use to store your grocery plastic bags hangs in a wall and you stuff the bags into it. On Amazon, its a semi circle with hols in it. You can fit a ton of bags in it too! I have it on the wall on my pantry.
I know it took you way longer than you wanted, but it really does look great! after I do something big like that I just sit for a while and admire my tenacity ; )

I recently cleaned out and organized my pantry. I know exactly how you were feeling, when you were only half way done. I love how you used the white baskets and lazy susans. It all looks fabulous! My husband was sitting in the room, and said ,"So, this is the kind of stuff you watch when you want to clean out your pantry?" Yep. Then I took him into our pantry and said, "OK, find the honey." And he did. Then he mentioned I need more labels. Yep. Thanks for making my Saturday morning fun and enjoyable.

I love how you stop and take snack breaks and talk to us! Oh Kim, when you were saying, "somebody please come over and help me" - I love to organize and I wish I lived in Florida. I would've loved to help you with this! You appear to be a "ladybug" organizer (me too) and we do not do well with decanting everything. (It is so smart to put your overstock behind your decanted items!) When you go with your natural organizing style, it is so much easier to keep up with it. We do better with bins and large categories. You nailed this!!! It is so much easier to grocery shop when your pantry is organized, because you can see what you are low on. I love everything about this video!!!

Oh, what a great job! You made me laugh so hard…. Don’t we all end up with small bags of icing sugar and chocolate chips 😂 If things still end up flying off the Lazy Susan you could put a piece of non-slip drawer liner on it to give them more grip 😊

I often under estimate the time needed on overhaul projects until there is stuff everywhere and wish I could run away or lie down somewhere but there's stuff everywhere.
