      He broke his right hand in the first round. You won't subdue Hagler with just a jab, no matter how fast it is.

    Thomas Hears always looks so low energy. Probably because he was starving himself.

      starving himself? are you serious?

    • @hammeringhank5271
      @hammeringhank5271 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +leaddispenser9 well seeing as how he was about 6'1" 147lbs and had the skinniest pair of legs I've ever seen. I wouldn't say he was overeating

      @leaddispenser9 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Hammering Hank well at 154 he was his best I think. He was probably his best at super welterweight. especially what he did to Duran. but some guys just have fast metabolism. I don't think Emanuel would let his best fighter to do that to himself.

    • @hammeringhank5271
      @hammeringhank5271 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +leaddispenser9 still 6'1" and 154 is freakishly skinney. I may have exaggerated when I said starving himself, but he was defenatley on a big caloric defacit. I don't think I've ever seen a skinnier fighter. Besides maybe Sandey Saddler

    • @leaddispenser9
      @leaddispenser9 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Hammering Hank well i agree, saddler was pretty skinny but he was also a hard hitter too lol.

    man Mayweather Jr. does resemble Hagler a little bit but only in this video. It's probably just the cap and glasses

    Would love to see if Hagler could take Michael Spinks punch or Dwight Braxton's toughness. However chicken Marvin wanted to fight welterweights

      Melvyn Singleton Marvin was a middleweight so how would he be fighting welter weights?

      Hagler could've probably take on light heavy weights at the time.
