- Well we tried live shrimp and failed but kinda succeeded with artificial's catching a really nice Snook in between two Yachts near a lot of structure which gave the fish the upper hand but we managed to win the battle!!

When releasing a snook, let them suck your thumb and move them back and forth until they kick very strong. It is for the health of the fish.
Snook was huge! Nice catch! I fish SC regularly. When I use live shrimp, which I don't prefer, but I will hook them just behind the horn on the head. It allows the tail to be free to propel him around, which is more lifelike. It seems to work. To be honest, artificial have brought me enough luck that I tend to avoid the hassle of live bait. on live shrimp put the hook through the back in the center. I usually stick them perpendicular to the length.

Man, you just gotta learn where and how to fish live shrimp. They are EXTREMELY effective, just need to refine your technique.

Take a small trouble hook and hook them in their head. Right below the barb. To low and they die. Attach them to a poping cork and your set. Give it a pop and it makes them kick. easy money then

What do you think of the new outback? it seems the older one sits better and higher in the water.
I haven’t been in the newest outback the one in this video is the 2018 hull right before they changed it the next year I’m not to fond of the style of hull in the newer models and I don’t like the rudder system I think it’s silly it’s not flush when pulled up underneath the kayak. When sold they actually give you a rudder cover 😳. Just one more piece of plastic to remember.
