Really nice to see a fresh perspective of my home waters, especially from a TH-camr that seems to actually know how to fish. Subscribed... Looking forward to checking out more of your stuff...
Lots of bull sharks hang out near the bridges, too. Very possible you hooked up on one of those. Don't need to get fancy with cutting fillets. They're not picky. Chunks of ladyfish or jack work great - just cut a 3-4" section and hang on!
So true about being hungry after kayaking. I'll go for a 4 hour trip and when I get home I've got that deep hunger like I could eat a whole pizza or something.
Great video. I’m 5.10 & 200lb dude. Have been debating between outback and Revo 13. Can’t decide which one is better for me. I’m planning to take my kayak to saltwater and deal with big swells and waves but I’m also going to fish rivers and lakes. Any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated
Great video! Fought a goliath a couple days ago for over half an hour. Kind of like hooking a Ford F150. Still broke the 100lb braid on the Penn Spinfisher 10500!
Thought I'd just let you know how I dealt with the drainage issues when taking my wheels with me. I took off the top caps from the mounting legs and epoxied in about 8 inches of sturdy PVC plumbers pipe for strength. I then drilled a bunch of small holes in the tops of the legs which let's the water drain off just fine, especially if you leave the caps off! :-)
Yes! Please try again. They will Eat whole jacks easily rich no need for filets. They will take it live or dead no problem. And hurry up will ya it’s striper season almost
Even though it was a short fight was nice to see that rod bend the way it did. Like most of us on here it would be nice to see you give it another shot if you could.
Great 😊👌 job,and that little boat is awesome, you have everything you need rt their. Watching sport fishing is humbling, here in Maracaibo when we go fishing ak we catch is Robalo,or Snook,as you fellows call them 9 kg avg, but forget releasing we EAT them, fried and crispy, Delicious 😋😋😋😋😀
and i learned on a charter more often times goliaths are on the rough side of thenpylon thats getting pushed againt it instead of the calm side ,just fyi, keep up the vids bro love em
I hooked into a baby goliath grouper in a kayak at cudjo key in the lower keys, by the blimp. Pulled the anchor right through the mud, went for about a 100ft sleigh ride, got wrapped up in the mangroves and broke the line. Fun🙂
Oi Oi Oi, I heard bad news about this river but the bad news is Sturgeon 7 feet fish live in there, you are so lucky this river monster didn't eat you because this fish ate two men from the small boat
Not wanting to ruffle anyone's feathers............ but why don't you switch the reel over to left hand retrieve so you don't have to switch hands when you cast?
Goliath grouper most likely. They are all over the place near me. Tough to get them out of all the snags under a bridge unless you have some serious equipment.
Ohh hell yea, but why i don't love braid, one lil nick one defect instant failure. But you got the beast bite, so cool. I see 8 unlikes above , peeps while sitting on their couches drinking a bud and not liking silly angry mortals, Cool shit keep it up.
I am sooooooo off from you and Elias. 30lb leader, MH rod is not light tackle!🤣 15lb braid, 20lb leader 7' M. I probably just haven't hooked a big enough red fish yet. Lol
Brother that rig is woefully too small for that fish. A 12/0 with the drag totally pegged and a very stout rod with 200 pound braid is still too small most of the time. The 1st minute of the fight is where you either win win or lose they are so so strong. Better to have fought and lost than to have never fought 😅 the crazy lizard with the bright green body and Orange head is an iguana Welcome to South Florida
fala aí meu amigo fiquei falou Nelson do canal Nelson Costa festa da família do Estado do Rio de janeiro Itaboraí estamos juntos vamos que vamos ótima pescaria um grande abraço amigo
Great episode! I’ve always wanted to see someone try for a Goliath from the kayak.
Chew On This did it. They also did it from one of those weird round paddleboat things. Lol

Great tactics and planning. Can't wait for your next attempt at a Goliath!
So nice. Wished to have a kayak like this one. Stress buster. As my kids still young and want to live longer for them.
You have the best fishing videos .....enjoy everyone of them...👍
A year late here but gotta say I love this content. Good camera work and good talking to the viewer.
Thanks danesworld !!! welcome to my channel!
Hell yea dude that was sick. Only a few seconds long but that must have been awesome! 🤘🏼
Having a lot of fun watching you do it up down there.
Try the yo-zuri version of the x-rap there a little smaller and I catch tons of tap on and snook on them
I've seen quite some vids allready .. but can't figue out what kano you have ... could you share the make/model ?
So true about being hungry after kayaking. I'll go for a 4 hour trip and when I get home I've got that deep hunger like I could eat a whole pizza or something.
Great video! And I felt you pain when you said “nooo” haha happens to me lots of times.
saw that snag coming when you casted under the building, lol... good on you for getting the plug back though
Takes guts to go after a monster via yak. Keep up the good work!

Wow that’s crazy! I tried again a couple days ago with 100lb braid but didn’t get bit.
You gotta try again Rich!
At 2:28 I right away knew you were after those grouper. Lawson's videos were the key.
Fla is insane action...and this idea is too in a good kind of way...just don,t get dragged out to sea if you connect the next time
Excellent Job !!! I am binge watching all of your videos.......LOL
Cool video . Thanks . Do you have a link for those black and green gloves . Thanks
There just mechanics gloves from Home Depot

Where can i buy pedal boat which u are using ..?
I wouldn’t wanna get kicked by this guy think about how strong his legs are from all the kayak peddling
What rod are you using for Goliath?
Goliaths are crazy. We see them when we’re spearing. They’re definitely daunting 😅
Great video. What lure is that? Seems to be working really well
Thanks! Rapala Xrap
Great 😊👌 job,and that little boat is awesome, you have everything you need rt their.

I like what you said about your target is catching fish.
and i learned on a charter more often times goliaths are on the rough side of thenpylon thats getting pushed againt it instead of the calm side ,just fyi, keep up the vids bro love em
Great video Rich! Damn I am looking forward to you hooking up on something huge again. It was a good setup and a hell of a try! 👍👍👊
Hey what is the reel u useing?
Love to see you go back and get that guy. Need some heavier equipment though lol.
Yeah tried yesterday but didn’t get a bite. I upped my gear
❤️ Where is this place?
I hooked into a baby goliath grouper in a kayak at cudjo key in the lower keys, by the blimp. Pulled the anchor right through the mud, went for about a 100ft sleigh ride, got wrapped up in the mangroves and broke the line.
Fun🙂
I'll be in Stuart in a few weeks. I will look on the water for the "holic-craft"
Monstrous experience ! Thanks !
Am I the only one that cringes everytime Rich or Sea Money release a fish without using pliers (bare hands) ?
Great effort on the Goliath ,Rich
John Rich I've told rich a few times to invest in a pair of needle nose pliers
Love your videos man
Hey man,what yak is this?
Hola que buena pesca me gustan tus videos
Definitely try it again but heavier gear
Awesome place!
_Beautiful Fishery, Congratulations._
Stay with God!
_HUG!!!!!_ 👍🎣
If you do go back for Goliath make sure you gear is leashed to the yak.
Nice too meet you. I like your videos and i want to learn your skill. I' m from Viet Nam.
Oi Oi Oi, I heard bad news about this river but the bad news is Sturgeon 7 feet fish live in there, you are so lucky this river monster didn't eat you because this fish ate two men from the small boat
nice try on the goliath, i'm sure you'll get one eventually👍
Not wanting to ruffle anyone's feathers............ but why don't you switch the reel over to left hand retrieve so you don't have to switch hands when you cast?
Might be a Caiman Lizard, nice video!
Good try on the beast under the bridge lol
Lol how did u plan on catching mullet from a kayak sir
cast net... corn... powerbait.. all viable. Don't knwo what he planned lol.
Go back for that one
Try to catch that fish again in another vid
Tried a couple days ago but didn’t get bit except for some Snook up to 28” after dark.
Lure name
I wonder what the fish was at the bridge.
Goliath grouper most likely. They are all over the place near me. Tough to get them out of all the snags under a bridge unless you have some serious equipment.

Awesome fight man 👍
Nadai muji dik muai ikan baru aku .. uji gagak ke tabas neyy
my mom would be so pissed if i let the jack go
Greetings from port Salerno!
Excellent congratulation
still haven't invested in a pair of needle nose pliers , huh ?
Its the ones that you don't catch that bother us the most (at least me anyway)
bro, minta reel nya satu bro....
Did dude just see a iguana and then say “look at that lizard”?
I am sooooooo off from you and Elias. 30lb leader, MH rod is not light tackle!🤣 15lb braid, 20lb leader 7' M. I probably just haven't hooked a big enough red fish yet. Lol
Such a dope vid!
Why on Earth do you want a tight drag hooking into a big goliath?
@@jbellamy33 bc they go straight for cover and break you off. Like hooking a reckless truck. 😣
Should have cut them pieces to 4 to easy for the fish to take off unless they’re hige
Would probaly have but the hook in the middle of the bait
Next time....SAILFISH! HMU
Go hang out with Marty zoffinger in Tampa bay he’s an excellent kayak fisherman and also a very successful TH-camr like yourself
Why didn't u keep the head they work the best
Please try for Goliath again 🙏
You don't bring a knife to a gunfight
That's something I should try nice job
Gerçekten seni izlemek cok zevkli başarılı bir avcısın başarılar adamım 👍👍👍
I would’ve just butterflied the lady fish and dropped it whole
Mantep besak2 g dpet ikan ae 😎😎
Ga bisa bahasa enggres
Catching bait..sending it down...feeling the power of a monster....is not a defeat..thats being right...

good fish...
You need a heavier setup...minimum 60 lbs of drag 150 lbs dendo
Next time don’t strip the bait chunk it it works a lot better honestly
Ok cool, thanks for the tip!!
In indonesian ladyfish is call bandeng
thats tressspassing going inside someones boat house, if it was me I come out shooting so watch out
Good try better look next time.
Don’t your legs hurt from moving all day
haha not really. I was a distance runner all my life so I've got good stamina i guess.
