Fishing at the Port of Brisbane - Snapper are on after the rain.

  • Have had a fair bit of rain recently and figured the Port would be a good place to try with all the run off pushing out. Had a great session on the snapper, enjoy!

      @ especially on the lighter gear, they really put up a good account for themselves. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been fishing the river. Looks like I might have to give the crabs a rest 😉

    6:27 was that a bit of the old “this could be a thready” all brisbane river fishermen mutter at some point in a fight? The bit that never seems to be caught on camera is the heart sinking when the first glimpse of the fish isn’t gold.

    great video, are you seeing fish mainly on side or downscan ?

      @@mileswydall bit of both..it is hard to make out fish on side scan with all the structure around there but could see small schools every now and then

      @@anthonycarroll7948 thanks mate, yeah peddling is so much better especially in the current..mines an older 2012 revolution 13. My advice is do some research into each model to choose the best for you. Always pros and cons 👍🏻
