I'm not really a hockey fan but in my opinion this is the biggest story in sports so far this year. From last place to Stanley Cup champions is simply phenomenal!!!

Every time a St. Louis team wins a championship, there's something magical about it. Remember when the Cards won their last WS? The rally squirrel and hometown kid, David Freese, were the main headlines.
There's something about this win that is soooooo special!

Vancouver Canucks Fan here! Bruins beat us in Game 7 of the 2011 Final. GREAT to see the Bruins go down in game 7, and witness Marchand crying his eyes out in the handshake line...

Canuck fan, born and raised and still reside here, long time 11 game ice pack holder, it still pains me to this day that we lost in 2011. IMHO I still feel we should have been able to have put them away and the better team lost unfortunately. Could've done it in 94 as well. The suffering continues lol.

As a long time Kings fan, finally winning the Stanley Cup is a great felling. Congrats to all Blues fans everywhere.
I was rooting for the Kings after they swept us in 2012, just because I knew our two teams were the last from the 1967 expansion never to have won it- seeing them win in 2012 gave me hope that maybe, just maybe it'd eventually be our turn, and last night it was! WOW!
Now that the Blues finally have their Cup, if they don't make the playoffs next year and a team like the Leafs do, I'll definitely be rooting for them

Not a hockey fan, but I started to become intantaneously interested in this rags to riches St. Louis Blues team and story when I heard about their transition from worst to first. What a run in both the regular season and postseason . I'm so glad you guys won and the Gloria theme song is so amazing and inspiratonal. Congrats Blues fans! You guys deserve it :)
Being born and raised a hawks fan, CONGRATS TO THE BLUES AND THE WHOLE CITY OF ST. LOUIS. Seeing reactions like this are what really shows you how loyal a fan base really is. When you can sell out 3 watch parties at the enterprise center to watch your team on the road, that’s something really special. I’ll have Gloria stuck in my head, probably forever, though.

All the years, all the teams I watched have outstanding regular seasons, only to get bounced out early on in the playoffs. All the times I had to hang my head in shame that my hometown hockey team was a legacy for failure. Today, GONE! All that shame I'd carry in the summers about being a hockey fan IS GONE! I'm finally proud to say, I'm a St Louis Blues fan, and I've been one since the 1970's! What a run it's been. I know Joe Buck blows, but his words come to mind right now, "What a team. What a ride"- what a team and what a ride this has been, the St Louis Blues are the 2019 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

As a Bruins fan for life I must say the Blues and their fans earned this. Just an amazing run. You played your game and you answered the call every single time. What the Blues did was nothing short of amazing. You EARNED THIS. Never forget how good this feels.

Canucks AND Blues fan here - my favourite American team beating Boston IN Boston to finally win it all is about as amazing as it gets. Wish I was in St. Louis for this massive, long-overdue party. The city and its fans were the longest-suffering, and they're some of the best and classiest fans in the league, so it's well deserved. Hope it's the first of many more Stanley Cup titles to come! Let's Go BLUES!

Not only was the Blues stadium packed, so was the Cardinals stadium at Busch! Some people may not realize how much this meant to us Blues fans, but I'll tell ya it meant a hell of a lot! I've been a Blues fan, and Cardinals fan since I was able to watch sports! It still gives me Chills! Thank you to all you other fans, especially Hawks fans lol, for congratulations! Wish we could get back to hockey and possibly repeat! Let's go Blues!
This comment section proves NHL is the best sports league! Fans of other teams congratulating the Blues, just like the players shaking hands at the end of every series. Not really all that surprising that a sport invented in Canada is so gracious in the end!
