I would suggest to use a SCT Tuner you can tell it to turn off the speed limiter also you can tell it that you added a cold air induction.
I don't remember seeing that on my SCTx4
I only installed a TBS for an extra vac line to do maintenance spray in valve cleans after a proper valve clean
The other benefit I’ve noticed is minor performance improvements on its own but it did help get more miles per gallon which made it pay for itself pretty quick.
This car will do 0-60 a second faster than that. If you put it in drag mode, foot brake it to 2300. And shift early at 5300. It will 0-60 in 4.9 on stock 18 gt wheels and good tires. 93 Oct.
I took my back seat out and put a slick on that was a little shorter than the stock 235/50 tires, and got a 4.6 on the 0-60. 8.5 quarter mile. You have to shift right the end of the peak at 5300/5350 rpm.
It definitely does. My current best 0 to 60 is 4.7 seconds.
You also have the HPP (i do as well, along with handling package)? My best pull is 4.9 stock 6spd MT, but that was in track. I havent actually done a timed pull in dragstrip yet. mIne's a 2020 but ive had it only 6 weeks.
I trust your word before the phone app. Seemed inconsistent. But if you said you feel a difference. That's all some people need.
no they add nothing.... but it does add a place to drill for a nitrous jet
Like I said in the video. The low end torque seems a little different but that's it. I wonder if a dyno would show a difference in the torque curve to confirm what I notice. I may have to inquire about that at some point. It did help very slightly with fuel economy. Maybe 2 mpg better. Maybe lol.
That’s right. The ONLY use for a tb spacer. Other than nitrous they a paper weight

What’s your 0-60 with 2500 rpm boost off the start. My 2021 w/o performance. 5.0-5.2 Consistent w/ boost on the start 87 gas. Just curious. Thank you for the content!! Liked the sho also.
With a healthy boost launch, the fastest I went is 5.2 seconds. This car is limited so bad with Traction.

What’s your fastest 0 to 60 time in the high-performance and what was your fastest 0 to 60 in the sho. Just curious. Like the content keep it up. Are you still moving to Florida???
Fastest I've been to 60 with the new Mustang is 5.2 seconds. The fastest to 60 with the SHO was 4.2 seconds.
And as for moving to Florida. I'm still very interested in moving somewhere in Brevard County Florida. I just have to get my finances in order to do so.

@@czthjvv it's the performance version of the Ford Taurus. SHO stands for Super High Output. I had a 2014 Taurus SHO on the channel for a while. ✌️😎
so honestly would you recommend the throttle body spacer for a 2001 ford mustang gt? i was also going to install a larger throttle body kit to go along with my flowmaster american thunder catback exhaust and my cold air intake..
please let me know if the spacer is truely worth it i would love to know an off camera view on how well the spacer actually is functioning... thanks i really appreciate any advice you can and are willing to share with me..

A TB Spacer is a bottom of the list mod in my opinion. If you're upgrading to a larger throttle body that Wil be the most noticeable mod especially with a good flowing intake and tune.

Pretty much. It does look nice though. And these are useful to tap a water/meth nozzle or nitrous jet into. Pretty much anything else but the advertised use 😆
