This perk is basically Damned but you get damage buff in exchange of being just as fragile.
The first clip just described immolaters so good and as a former main i can see you're guide is good and white you're perks are quite good
its better to not hold down flamethrower but instead activate 1 tick every so often if youre trying not to get too much overheat. you can let fire damage run its course then activate again. oh yeah if youre just trying to get as much melee damage as possible just go ham but its a bit risky

its better use flamethrower on the first wave
A tip for a 70+ fist dmg.
Use immolator ability to buff your dmg and use all fist dmg traits for +55% fist dmg and perk ability overheat (50-60%) and koldera black +15% dmg.
or just pick up a melee
that works too i think
(tho i admit 70 damage fist is funny)
immolator being a master fister
for those of you that cant find guns:
any of the bows are great at killing enemies with immolator
it doesn't matter what bow, or where you hit them, they will always die of afterburn
it's a really great alternative to guns
immolator gets i think 1% more melee damage for every 1% overheat

fun fact about immolator buff activation:
it only activate when it hits the ground
so if you plan the ambush the enemy and your on higher ground and low overheat, you can jump on them and press f and when you land the ability and buff goes off

Immolator is one of my favourite perks, it has high risk high reward playstyle that can absolutely carry games if done right.
This is all good tips also i sometimes use tear gass to solo nights 1-7 (if not scav war), i use the weapon billhook to :)
I never knew most of this stuff… and I used to main immolator when I started (I was bad at melee and I thought that other people should use guns since they are better than me)
The Immolator can be powerfull in right hands.
Traits can be
Methodical, Manic, Dependable.
Weapons:Decimator, Billhook.

ay thanks for the video though i do have an arguement cause as a frontliner i take way too much damage so to take less damage and get more overheat dealing more damage sounds perfect to me (and i die to overheat once every 1-2 weeks so thats not a problem to me)
pro tip: tear gas + f button pretty good for big groups

the flamethrower does not have consistent overheat, it uses more and more the higher percentage you are on, and the flamethrower sets enemies on fire which is the actual damage, the 5 damage is kind of irrelevant
