This video was fine and all other than the part where he showed himself using Survivor as a trait, on the one perk that tanks the most amount of damage, and spends most of its time at 25 hp, rendering Survivor basically useless

[horrible guide by a not lazarus main who just mashes the f button with it, also with 50 pledges]
Ability: ARTIK-NCU Device
Fire an energised nanite-charged bolt that can save lives.
Teammates hit will receive the Lazarus buff and Enemies hit will be Shocked.
- Two Charges.
(Buffs applied: ARTIK-NCU (Lazarus buff) Painkillers )
Pros:
- Increased max health. (+20 HP)
- Immune to Bleeding.
Cons:
- Drops ranged weapons on damage.
- Slower reloading.
- Reduced melee damage.
Lazarus is a support perk, upon tapping F you will fire a beam that will make the user recieve Painkillers and ARTIK-NCU buffs.
ARTIK-NCU
Increases Damage dealt.
Increases Defense (take less damage)
- ARTIK-NCU has a complicated power, death prevention.
Recommended Traits
- Manic
- Fearless
- Lone Wolf
- Tormented
- Paranoid
- Since Lazarus is not so good with guns get a weapon that deals 80+ DMG.
Do not pull out your gun when there are gunners and they are firing at you. You will drop the gun. So get your distance so you can fire at them, but they cannot fire at you.
- Your abillity makes you semi-immortal and increases stats. So an automatic scav varient cant kill you if you dont have 4 morale since the death prevention effect gained from the buff.
- Executioner Blade is perfect since it does high amounts of damage and heals back 5 hp.
The R1SASS/Izhma/Redeemer/Model 6 Unica/ are great weapons of choice for lazarus. [Tho Redeemer will be rare to find]

How Death prevention works
So if you have 20 hp, take 19 hp. You will gain 19 hp back almost immidiently.
But if you take more than your current amount you still die, since when you hit 0. You die.
But pretty useful for most scavengers to counteract. [not all of them]

as a berz main, laz is a very powerful frontline perk if you chose methodical, fearless and impatient (you can change impatient for dependable) to frontline as it as you can see that i survived n10 with just firerier axe, laz buff, i4s, s44 and 3 morale solo.
laz frontline:
melee you should use: executioner sword (slow heavy swing but its instant death (not always the case if you have melee damage debuff)) or firerier axe (devastating light attack combo damage, heavily recommended) or decimator (AOE damage could help especially those scavs stacks up together)
equipment: shrapnel device (to maximum fracture enemies) or koldera black (give you small buff while also negate a bit of morale)
traits: methodical (negate the con of being lazarus with melee), fearless and impatient/dependable
what you should do:
collect splint
buff yourself when the wave comes and go crazy, remember to use your equipment wisely
remember to always be on buff or suffer death
eat and drink regularly, it will help you frontlining
stims like i4s, s4 and cbstm will help you frontline, use them wisely too, always have spare one for n10 wave 4/5
tac armour is always a treat to come by
always prioritize shotgunner in frontline, leave ak scav alone because they're obsolete to you, shotgunner can pierce your death prevention so its bad bad scav
here's a thing about maximum fractured enemies
max fractured enemies have different behaviors, max fractured gun scav will have 200% inaccuracy and max fractured melee scavs will have 80% decrease to its melee damage
conclusion:
buff, go crazy, suffer crippled and fractured
use equipment too
dies by shotgunner
do remember that your role as frontliner laz is usually on around 25 hp so have fun

As a lazarus main that have tried frontline lazarus about 10 times i have to say that this is actually accurate about death prevention as long as a specific teammate doesn't decide to throw bodies at sledge queen

Hey there i just want to come with the a reminder. The lazarus buff is only usefull against quick burst damage from semi to full auto guns, and light melee attacks. Heavy damage from markman scavs (for example regminton 700 scavs) and heavy attacks from melee attack. Basically anything above 19dmg will still kill you.

Here's to cover more:
- Koldera black to help frontlining, Throwing knives for more rations hunting.
- Methodical trait for frontlining as it will neglect reduced melee damage, Go with Executioner sword, Decimator, Firerer axe as you cool melee.
- What's cool about this perk is that it can frontline to backline anytime you want so it's versitile.
- Dependable + Fearless to improve your survivalbility with lazarus buff. Impatient is there to help quality of life and never pick Survivor
- Backline as Lazarus I suggest high power gun like DMR, Scoped weapons long range weapon like AKM etc.
- Dan Janiel is not recommended using Lazarus, as you can simply get infinite painkiller effect from the buff already.
- Decimator, executioner sword and Firerer axe (light attack pls) is recommended for lazarus melee weapon.
- Yes, you may survive light attack and most firearms scavs with the lazarus buff. but heavy attack or shotgunner can instantly end you the most. Watch out for them, parry or use ranged weapon to deal with them if you have to.
- Lazarus buff shock enemy does the same effect as stunning them, which gives them small window to shoot you once fully accurate shot.
- Since Lazarus is immune to bleed and artery. The crude bandage you find won’t help but using it heals 5 hp others like esmarch and aseptic bandage can’t
- Relentless is a fun trait to try because you mostly gonna be at below 30hp at all time

basically how death prevention works:
if you have the buff and enemies lower your
health to less than 20 then the damage is reversed
(ex. if u took 7 damage and your health dropped from 26 to 19 it'll jump back to 26,
19 hp and took 9 it'll jump back to 19)
so you wont get more health you just wont have your health lower than 20

Somewhat wrong about the Lazarus buff. It makes it so any damage that drops you below 20 hp you will recover back all the damage you took as long as that damage doesnt kill you.

the way laz works is you will take no damage if the enemy attack damage is under 20 dmg, if it is above you will take damage.
