I feel like everybody is anxious for som3 crappie this year! I am trying to vertical jig from the yak. We'll see. Nothing yet but I'm sure it'll happen. Tight lines!! 🎣🐟🎣🚣♀️💯😁🤟
Creeks can be feast or famine this time of year. I went few weeks ago. Caught 2 decent fish that’s it. I left and went to big lake after an hour and limited out by 11am . Only problem with creeks once fish start biting is the leaves get so thick in the surface it’s tough to even get your rig through them. I catch some of my biggest crappie in the creeks though. I have to use my boat these days though. I Have had arthritis and can’t walk to banks like I used to. Enjoyed the content
It's about to be that time 👌I took my co worker out on kayaks tonight in a creek and got crappie, bass and kept hooking shad on my lure. This low water we have is showing all the hidden stumps that were hidden in the spring 👍
Lakes are super low right now any guesses on if these crappie are hold overs from spring.. or is that creek mouth have enough water for new fish to arrive
@KidKrappie it sits weired because you have tension on the line. Those types aren't meant for jigging. I use the more expensive ones and keep a whole bag of the round bobbers for my nephews. To prevent losing your more expensive pieces of tackle, tie about an 8 to 12 inch leader in a weight lighter than your main line. You'll generally break off only the hook and whatever your bait is. Happy fishing.
Shoot Bro you still did better than I would have 😋.. That spot looks like it will be bouncing in a few weeks!!👍👍😁
Thanks buddy!! I hope so! Just need some cold weather!

Yeah creeks can be hit or miss. This is the main reason I don’t guide them. Too wishy washy for me lol

Yes sir! It won’t be long before you can limit out in them
So everywhere’s water is low? In ga it’s bad we’ve lost about 25ft of water
Ive been all over the place. Water is really low
I know you will be on the crappie soon, so I had to subscribe.
I appreciate that!
Good 💯 stuff
Thanks for checking it out!
Always love watching anglers in my area can't wait to get out and beat the creek banks
Thanks for watching!!
You using braid for the longer casts?
No, just light mono 4-6 lb test
@KidKrappie they kept getting off the other day. I think either my bass pro medium rod is too sensitive or my flourocarbin 6lbs has too much strech.
My hooks "were" kinda old and dull could ve been that too though.

@@7stripesfishing I think most creek mouths have enough water right now. If we don’t get rain soon, it could get bad
How are the water levels with the creeks this time of year looking to make it out for the first time Sunday
Most of them are pretty low. I hope this rain helps tonight
@ yea if we get a lot of rain I may wait since the creeks will probably get to muddy
Yeah. I think the ground will soak most of it up since it’s been so dry lately. We shall see
Hell yeah
Thanks for checking it out!
@KidKrappie your welcome. I was using this same method the other day. Caught a bunch of small ones.
@ it should get better soon!
@@KidKrappie yessir
Thill slip bobbers and spring lock type. on clearance for .50 @ Walmart on Frankford rd. and George bush tollway
-a couple weeks ago.
Hi what creek is that?
Dude...that bobber is slipping because you've only clipped one end. Clip both ends and it will be fine.
It sits weird in the water for me that way. I like to keep the top up to where it moves back and forth

@@KidKrappiewrap it around the hook of the bobber a couple times and it should hold pretty good on one end
