Not suprising. Big companies don't need to make good entertainment to make a profit from what i have gathered.
It's not that they make it better than AAA games but that they care about the player not seeing the players as fat stacks of money

There is a forth classification of player… the playing-god classification!
Every game with a building system has this kind of player, and I am all for seeing the chaos unfold from them!
Upon seeing them, some will immediately quit the game... Because of the number of elements, their pc will die
and the "over-engineer who makes warcrime machines" classification

Glad to see it’s going in a survival game category. Those environments do not need to go to waste. Like seriously those dark areas with pillars everywhere? Fits way too well for a game like this

I imagine that you will start in a zone that is very friendly for creatures to live in
And then for example you can adventure in a more complex environment and you got to change your own creature to adapt whatever way you want

I did love the INSANE looking procedural bosses from the very first stuff before you even had this channel but it’s crazy to see how things changed. Best of luck with the continued development

i love the idea of robot ecosystems from the start of the video up to here 0:24 really caught my attention at how things move so smoothly and animal like but knowing its made from small parts makes it crazy how fluid it is please keep up on the animations of this it makes things so beautiful to look at

It's amazing to see how far this project has come. I love the robotic insect designs that show up pretty frequently. Reminds me of a game I loved as a kid called Drone Tactics. Completely different gameplay (turn based tactics) but based around giant insect robots.
Also, steam workshop integration for craft and module sharing would be amazing. Just saying.
Oh damn I was testing out this game last week, Spent a good 40 minutes making a custom logo for the team and proceeded to fawn over every time the logo appeared on player phase

Honestly, i can imagine this game being used in school to teach about the component based aproach to design or something along those lines. Im super happy that you kept the complex nature and didnt decide to dumb it down, this game is going in a great direction!

I can safely say I have never reached for my wallet faster on ANY project. A lot of these indie projects like to overpromise and underdeliver, keeping certain things behind closed doors. With the alpha, though, it's quite clear you've got something real special cooking with this one. Keep up the good work!

I really like the categories of players that you came up with. It's vital for a sandboxy game to allow the player to use the tools that want to use in the way they want to use.

hey man really love the idea of this game and so far it looks amazing!! can't wait to see what the final result will look like. i want to develop games myself in the future and i really love emergent gameplay so this is a great motivation and inspiration :)
