here's another idea, every year (or every 6 months) do a community poll to vote for the best game that was made in that time frame in these challenges, and the game that wins gets the previous developers to work on it for a regular game dev cycle and then gets sold on steam based on what the community picked. I mean, if we vote for it, it means we wanna buy it right? lots of potential there

Can confirm I definitely would not have been able to work on a 3D level :p I'm just a programmer hahah
You did awesome @@KotieDev ! Your mechanics stayed core throughout the whole thing. +1 for making a really solid base.
Tbh @@KotieDev I wouldn't have noticed and it was the right amount of content you put in. It left a lot of freedom for the upcoming devs, while giving a solid base with polish to build upon. (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) well done
If you accept ideas from fans, a neat idea for a video is having each dev have a second round in develepment. This may bring out more ideas seeing what people did with what they did earlier.
this is what happens when the first devs actually create a game loop rather then tweaking visuals or AI
Cowsins reminds me of another similar developer… “wow that was very cool”
Thumbs up for that music at 8:55!
second dev just making a karson copy , CHANGE MY MIND
Maybe do one where they communicate. Would be cool to see what great minds could make when they communicate.
Wow killer stuff. Especially that last dev bringing it all together.
The dragon gives this guys birth 😂😂😂
I like that they actually build on each other, instead of removing is. Great road you guys went into! Love the content!
Am I the only one who didn’t know that the subscribe button gets a Rainbow outline for a bit when they say subscribe 16:43
Wow!!
Really love Constellation's logical approach to gamedev, and I think it works really well in this challenge.
It's amazing but... the fairy! 😮
They should have made it so the fairy can activiate portals but the enemies try to attack the fairy! Or control it to go in places you can't go using a magic flute!
I like the idea of the sunstone, it is like you are Indiana Jones exploring a strange temple full of creatures to find it!
nice work guys! Satisfying combat and game loop
can you do motion capture edition 2? cause the last one had a lot of potential and didnt use it at all
I volunteer to participate if it were to happen again 🙏
You've cracked the secret of how AAAA studios like Unisoft make games like skull and bones! : )
I love the video and channel - but somebody has got to say it. 2 product plugs before 3 minutes and 4 by the end of the video is a bit much my guy
Joe COOKED with that music🔥🔥🔥
I know no one cares but I just downloaded scratch and I'm taking my first steps into programming and game development wish me luck :)
That's awesome! Best of luck.
@@Orionhart thanks
Good luck!
Ay I’m 3 months late but I hope your doing good at it keep it up if you are.
@@Virues6969 thanks I am :)
here's another idea, every year (or every 6 months) do a community poll to vote for the best game that was made in that time frame in these challenges, and the game that wins gets the previous developers to work on it for a regular game dev cycle and then gets sold on steam based on what the community picked. I mean, if we vote for it, it means we wanna buy it right? lots of potential there
Like if u think they should try to get dani dev
8:41 and thus the most unironically heavy banger song was made. the cymbals on every count is so fun to listen especially in the contrast of the snares that keep in a 4/4 ugh its so simple but so good lmao.
4 promos in one video, i mean get your bag i guess but kinda annoying to be constantly interrupted by ads like this
Cant wait for the next one! That one was really cool! Loved how it turned out. These videos are awesome and im finding myself constantly looking out for your next video, such a unique idea and I cant wait to see what comes next
Spoiler blocker
4:53 "holy f*ck someone has been cooking" my smile was growing more and more with each sentence from the previous dev
First!
Congrats, you are indeed!
First time seeing one of these videos, what an awesome idea! Props to all the devs, they did an amazing job and executed it really well. I was especially hyped to see Joe Sullivan on this since I’ve been following the development of his game Floramancer for a while. His cloud dragon mob spawner idea was awesome, great job everyone!
Thanks! You’re the man! 🤘@HookGod
FINALLY, A NEW UPLOAD AFTER LIKE A YEAR
Buff and healing items sounds like a good addition plus new resources for them.
"then caffeine took over my body and I made this" *beat drop*
Sent my soul out of my body it was so good
Ayy thank you so much! (I’m the dev you’re quoting haha)
I was a musician before I was a developer so it’s awesome having this many people hear my music
Wow this one looks insanely good, shoutout to each of these devs!!
So cool man! Turned out really great.
An idea I have is to release the game as open source and see if someone would continue on it 😄
hey BTP, what if, in the next challenge, you make it so when having (for example) 6 devs, the first dev works while in a call with the 4th dev, when the second dev works, he's in a call with the 5th dev, when the third dev works, he's in a call with the 6th dev, and when the 4th dev works on the project, the first dev is in a call with him? Just for us to see how different the project can be if two people think about ideas (even if only one of the two devs is actively working on the game)
yessssssss
