- ME OPENING MY A LEVEL RESULTS!
this is my first time uploading a youtube video and probably the only time i ever will - i literally made a youtube account just to post this.
i have no idea how to edit videos so enjoy about three unnecessary minutes of me rambling on about irrelevant stuff and two minutes of my actual results being revealed. also soz for the bad quality, that’s what you get for using a phone i guess.
this may be the cringiest thing i’ve ever done but it was for the benefit of my friends and family to laugh at me. i know my grades aren’t the best and i probably should’ve aimed higher but i didn’t revise as much as i should’ve so i’m just happy that i passed them at all :)
i hope everyone’s happy with their grades and if not just be happy with something else x
Well done, well deserved! Never compare your own grades, yourself to others....that's what I learned from A-levels...we all go at our own different speeds....like you said Ellie, otherwise if we were all the same it would be boring....
thanks so much! i’m slowly learning to stop comparing myself to others - it’s so damaging and i did well considering my own struggles that i had
Just received my May/June 2023 AS results (curve was said to be a little high and exams overall a bit ehhh), I got an A for biology, B for Math and B for chem….and I can’t stop crying and beating myself up…no one in my class wants to share their grades (not even my friends) which either means we all did terrible or some people are just afraid of evil eye.
@@rahafalkhaldi1897 An A in biology is amazing though and a B in chemistry is great too as chemistry is really hard
@@rahafalkhaldi1897 yeah u did terrible lol
@@remaain well I raised my grades to an A*AA, so not so terrible overall. I’m a first year Pharm.D student now 🤷♀️
love you grades gurll. thank you for being authentic❤
I'm so happy for you. Would you mind making another video about your experiences at uni? I'm a bit stressed out about my deadlines and thus I could use some great advice and since I loved this video of yours, I would love to see another one. x

Well this was 5 yrs ago it was diff then
No hate btw ❤
@@MelodicPages-13 I know but also a lot of colleges still do paper and you have to go to college on the day b
what uni did you go to?
How’s life looking for you now?
Do you have any advice for year 12? Like anything you regretted not doing etc
definitely, i could list a lot of things but honestly i can’t stress enough the importance of actually revising at the beginning of the year! it gets so overwhelming if you leave it til the last minute, and i had the mindset of only revising for the exams i had next, so i revised for my first exam for weeks then was kind of unprepared for all my others and had to revise the night before etc. so yeh just actually try and take everything in as you learn it and go over it after class x
Ellie Barnes thank you! ❤️
Congratulations
Coulsdon college! WTF!!! I go there and I'm currently in year 12, also doing sociology!!! If you don't mind me asking, were you taught by Haydn Hoskins?
best teacher i’ve ever had to this day!

Can i give both AS and A level in 1 year? What about O level?
depends on the institution you're studying at, if they'll allow it. Some colleges contract the 2 year course to 1 and a half years. If you're smart, confident in yourself you could get out with good enough grades within a year...all the best:)
@@sourashisghoshal6287 im self studying. im thinking of giving the exams this june. i already know most of the syllabus from preparing for other tests. thx
@@kikimayi4104 all the best!

good questions to ask a female
Dude I missed the last 20 marker on the sociology paper and I also got a B. I have no clue how • . •
crazyyyyy😳
@benson3287 Dw I got you I’m chronically online. Sociology was honestly the hardest thing I ever studied, and I graduated Uni for criminology last year. It’s a whole load of refrences you need to remember and dates and theories. I recommend listing them out, colour coding them per topic. And then teach it to someone else. If you can’t teach a topic, you don’t know it well enough. Practise some past papers too, and just honestly do your best. Good luck!
